Our second time at Wahoo and probably won't be our last.
Ray and Janis were very accommodating, friendly and responsive. The property is beside the highway but road noise really wasn’t that bad. We extended our stay and found it such a fantastic spot to use as a base to explore Noosa and the surrounding area and had so much space. The resident dogs are so sweet and friendly and our kids absolutely loved them!

Great little spot, private close to Noosa. Easily accessible, plenty of space straight off the highway.
We enjoyed our stay it was a perfect base for our day trips. Very friendly hosts. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay, it was located close to things we wanted to see. Host Ray was very nice and accomodating to make our stay enjoyable. Yes it is right beside the Highway, but this didn’t bother us. We had the whole place to ourselves which was great.
We recently stayed at Wahoo Ranch. We booked and prepaid for a powered site with water. When we arrived at 2pm we were told our booked site had been given to other travellers and they forgot we were coming. There were only two powered sites available both had campers on them.
The hosts were friendly and offered us an alternative. We were offered two sites close to the Bruce Highway. One was an opened grass site, and the other was a gravel site with a small amount of scrub behind it. We chose the gravel site. The hosts ran a long extension lead from the shed so we had power, and potable water was offered, but we used the water in our own caravan tanks.
The biggest downside was the constant traffic noise from the Bruce Highway. Trucks and cars passed throughout the night, and we had a very poor night's sleep.
While we appreciated the hosts' friendliness and their efforts to provide an alternative, we were disappointed that our booked site wasn't available. We thought really what was the point of booking it through HipCamp.
For us, this wouldn't be a place we'd return to. It may be suitable as a one-night stopover for travellers passing through, but we wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, restful stay.

Conveniently located and the hosts Ray & Janis were super friendly and hospitable. We had a bit more traffic noise than we expected (it’s right along the highway) and the property wasn’t quite as big/private as we thought from the pictures, but it was a lovely stay nonetheless. Could be challenging in very wet conditions as it’s mostly grass, but it was a clean and tidy site with very helpful and accommodating hosts. Was also great to have power but solar would be fine there as you have access to plenty of sunshine.
Great place to rest easy to find, amazing
Bar and shed full of treasures for all car enthusiasts, to have a drink and enjoy the company.

Really enjoyed our weekend away. Lovely site. Peaceful. Weather was not great but Ray found us a dry patch. We cycled in the conservation area and enjoyed the market and local brewery. My highlight was breakfast with Ray's dogs Wilson and Nova. Very friendly and knew exactly when breakfast was served. We had a restful weekend. Thank you Ray.
Had a fantastic time at Ray & Janis’s place. Welcoming, friendly and so easy-going. We planned the 1 night and ended up staying 10 nights. They were so accomodating to our fluctuating plans and absolutely nothing was an issue. The dogs visiting were also great, the kids loved playing with your dogs more than their own haha. Would absolutely recommend 10/10, one of the best Hipcamp we’ve stayed at on our lap of Aus! Thanks so much guys 🙌

Friendly hosts. Plenty of space for the kids to kick around a footy, play with their monster trucks & fossick around for firewood. Great location for exploring Eumundi & surrounds as it is only a short drive to town. Close to the highway (noise didn’t bother us). Highlight of the trip for the kids was looking at the fun cars / memorabilia in the bar & playing with the properties friendly dogs, Wilson & Nova.

We had a wonderful two day stay at wahoo ranch ☺️Ray is an awesome guy very accomodating close to Eumundi and quick on and off the M1 we stayed here on our way to Bundaberg and had a awesome stay 👍🏼There is road noise but not a deal breaker great camp sites that accommodate large rigs like ours cheers Ray thanks again 🍻🇦🇺And a man cave that is out of this world 😁
Ray was a great host (Janice was away at the time). We loved having Nova and Wilson come and visit us, they loved making themselves at home! A great stay and we recommend it to others. Traffic noise was not a biggie for us!

Lovely camping, a lot of space for us, and so nice people :)
I’d recommend it for sure, so close to Noosa!

What a great spot, Janis and Ray, wilson & nova (dogs) were quite accommodating. Close to highway but as a light sleeper did not notice the cars at night. We enjoyed our stay.
A great stop beside the highway for 1 or 2 nights. Close to eumundi. 3kms. You wouldn’t walk. The highway is noisy but didn’t keep us awake. The hosts are lovely. Friendly with some great memorabilia. I wouldn’t stay more than a night or 2. Convenience is the word.

The location was easy to get to from the highway. The site was well looked after and easy to access. The host were really helpful for stuff we forgot. Highly recommended
What a beautiful place close to Eumundi.
The hosts Ray and Janis are super friendly and keen to ensure the stay exceeds expectations. They certainly achieved that!
The property itself is peaceful. There is some noise from the Bruce Highway but nothing that would detract from the stay.
Oh... and the dogs, Wilson and Niva are an added bonus.
Highly recommended.
Wahoo Ranch is an immaculately kept camping site. As you are near the highway you can hear the cars but you soon tune out. Definitely didn’t keep us awake, far from it, it was so relaxing. Enjoyed the little visits from Ray & Janis's little dogs. They were so much fun. Only met Ray who was so lovely to chat with. Thanks for having us stay.
