Platypus Gorge is a great site. Plenty of cow poo around but not a problem for us. Our 2 Golden Retrievers loved the freedom to run around and swim. The jetty and lakes are fantastic. Had a couple of good walks through the forest or around the grounds. Sat by a camp fire each night with a few drinks and not too many bugs.

We absolutely loved our couple of nights at wash creek campsite, so peaceful and the sound of the babbling creek was so relaxing to wake up to . Had the whole place to ourselves my son and my dogs loved playing in the creek, plenty of space and nice green well keeped grass. Thanku so much for having us Stan & Lyn 😁

Overall the site was lovely. Very private which we love. Lots of cow poo though so we had to try to find a spot with the least amount.

Crohamhurst is in a beautiful lush area of Southeast Queensland. Gorgeous drive in behind the Glasshouse Mountains. We stayed in Platypus Gorge. Lovely and flat. Creek not currently full enough for a swim. Just a dip but still lovely. The Cicadas noise was amazing - like a Mexican wave that just kept going around the valley. Intermittent internet, but not missed as we enjoyed the camp fire and peace and quiet.

The host was great, the site was peaceful and far enough away from others to be private. Enjoyed my stay, thank you.
