Beautiful walking trails through woods and rainforest with views of the Glasshouse mountains and stunning sunsets. Townships of Maleny and Beerwah (Australia Zoo) are about a 20 minute drive. You can stay and enjoy the serenity or a base for Sunshine Coast and hinterland attractions. Please note that dams and waterways are not fenced. Dogs must be controlled at all times (regular baiting programs on neighbouring properties) Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet. All rubbish to be removed. No chainsaws permitted. Split firewood is available for purchase.

We always love the peaceful campsite at Black Lagoon, with the bird calls in the daytime and the sounds of the frogs at night. we also love the other sites at Stanlyn Park, but Black Lagoon is our favourite.

We had a fantastic stay at this campsite. The site itself was incredibly spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the surroundings without feeling crowded with five of us. It was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax, unwind, and switch off from everyday life. We'd happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil camping experience.

Great spot next to the little meandering stream and shady trees. Nice and quiet . Nice walk up the hill. Nice big fire pit. We would comeback again. Stayed at Platypus gorge. If you have solar panels best to have extension lead to chase the sun if you park to far into shade which was easy to do.

I absolutely loved this farm stay. The area is easy to access. It was dog friendly. We had firewood delivered after ordering it on the same afternoon. So polite and carefree. The whole farm is gorgeous and we were able to walk tracks and our dogs swam. I will be back. Thank you for wonderful experience.

Wash Creek Campsite
The "serenity" at Wash Creek was wonderful. We shared the campsite with birds, kangaroos, the properties cattle and the bush turkeys. The sounds of the creek running was so relaxing. Tim " the timber deliverer" was so nice and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stanlyn Park.

A beautiful property and tranquil camp site. Plenty to explore on the 100 acres with a great view of the glass house mountains half way up the hill. The cows are super friendly and the calf’s were so cute. My favourite spot was the jetty, sitting there and watching the cows and other wildlife was very peaceful. Access was easy for our 7.1m motor home with a small hill into the site gravel based. Some parts of the site would become muddy in the rain but there would still be plenty of room to set up and move around. We will definitely be back again.

Great spot. We had our 13ft van, large sites, drive through, fire pit. Clear directions. Beautiful drive out there. It was that nice weve rebooked. No photos this time round as we were too busy enjoying the beautiful surrounds.

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Stanlyn Park, staying at the Platypus Gorge campsite. It’s a beautiful, secluded spot with barely a sign of any neighbours, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The campsite was well maintained, with fire pits provided. It appeared to have quite a bit of rain recently, so some areas were quite muddy, particularly the little alcove surrounded by the creek. We were still able to find a nice, level grassy area for our 4x4 and van without any trouble. The only visitors we came across were the park’s curious dog and a few friendly cattle who casually meandered past. Just be sure to watch your step- there are plenty of large four-legged “landmines” scattered around! 😂 It would be a beautiful, shady spot in summer, and the creek looked lovely and clear. I’m sure it would be perfect for sitting in and having a quick dip when the weather is warmer. Overall, it was a super relaxing stay, and we’d happily return. Already booked ourselves in for our next long weekend! 😊

Great creek, but ground was pretty wet/muddy, and it hasn't rained in a while. Campers on top of hill nearby blasting music and echoing down valley, and had their dogs off leash (and they ended up coming to our campsite unattended by owners and walking muddy prints over our set up, and eating the kids food off our table).

Just a quick overnighter for us. Felt like we were miles from no where with having to travel far. But great little spot beside a small meandering creek. Visited by a few cute little poddy calves. Much enjoyed

Overall Platypus Gorge was a cozy little spot at Stanlyn Park! There is a fair amount of space that I reckon would suit mulitple people to take advantage of all the space. The only drawback I had was the area was quite muddy and unkempt, but I will blame the weather and natural vegetation for that one. Aside from that, there did happen to be a lot of noise from other campers that echoed around until late. No cell reception which was great!
