Cedarton is a small farm on 100 acres, we have cows, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep and horses. We have wild deer, wallabies and kangaroos that come in the mornings and afternoons. If the kids like to get involved, I can take them around in the morning to feed the animals, we have around 30 head of cattle, calves, 2 horses, 2 goats, one pet sheep, chickens and ducks. We have a cow called Cutie Pie, she loves a cuddle. Happy to spend time with the kids to show them the jobs we do daily. Parents can join in or sit back and relax. Takes about 1 hour in the morning. If it's school holidays, we build scarecrow's, plant sunflowers or other crops together. Wash rescue horses or any other job on the farm. Kids love collecting the eggs and cooking them up for their breakfast. We also have a pool at the farmhouse which campers can use between 9am - 11.30am daily. If you like hiking there's a couple you can do, one that takes around 30 mins and one that takes 2 hours. Plenty of space to play cricket, football or ride push bikes. If you like fishing there's creeks nearby as well. Each camp site will have wood for fires, if you require more you can buy some on site for $20 a bag. Please don't bring wood in because of biosecurity and fire ants. Cedarton Farm is also on Facebook. We are close to Australia Zoo, Big Kart track at Beerwah, Maleny Dairies, Kondalilla falls, Gardener waterfalls, Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. There's a cheese factory, chocolate factory and wineries in Maleny. Fantastic restaurants in Montville. We are also 10 mins from Woodford Folk Festival. We are off grid only for campers, campervans and caravans we have no amenities at this current time. How ever if you want a porta loo Dinkem Dunnies are great and deliver porta loos. Roughly costs $250 to hire. 4x4 if towing because of dirt driveway and paddocks. Pet friendly however we do ask that no pets chase animals.

At Red Deer you can sit back and relax during your day, or you can help feed the cows, horses and chickens in the morning. There's plenty of room in Red Deer to play cricket, footy or fly a kite. In the morning you will see Red Deer around your site and wallabies jumping past. At night you hear the birds and the creek running, it's very peaceful and relaxing. We love to help out with the kids and take them around the farm.    At night you are welcome to have a fire which we will supply firewood to start you off. If you're arriving at night and want your fire started, just let us know and we will get it going for you. Australia Zoo is great to visit over two days, so Cedarton is the perfect place to stay, and the zoo is a 20 min drive away.

Open area beside the creek suitable for tents and campervans and small to large caravans. Great for large groups. Lots of sunlight so if you have solar it's perfect. We recently had a group of 40 there and they loved it. You can see the cattle and hens from this camp site. I suggest porta loo hire for large groups which we can arrange for you at an extra cost or you can organize yourself. We use Dinkum Dunnies, they charge around $220 for a weekend. Across the creek there's two swings for kids, if they have bikes bring them along as there's heaps of places to ride. The kids love collecting eggs and cooking them up for breaky. Each camp site has firewood to start you off. If you're arriving at night, we are happy to start your fire so it's going when you arrive. If you have a fur baby, they are always welcome to join you.

This camp site is smaller than the other two and would be suitable for up to two camper trailers or tents. This camp site is very private and you can hear Koala's and see Wallabies go by in the mornings and afternoons. It's a great spot if it's windy as it's quite protected.

Cassandra was amazing. The best host we've had! So caring, great communication, took kids to feed the animals, gave us some fresh eggs! The site was also great with the little creek that kept the kids occupied. 5 stars

Highly recommended farm stay, Cass is great and the location is beautiful. The wallaby site is shady in the mornings and then catches the afternoon sun. Semi-offroad van recommended.

What a great farm stay. Cassie was a great host. Went above and beyond several times to make our stay special. Very good fun! Campsites were perfect by the creek. Great firepit with heaps of firewood supplied.

We loved camping at Cedarton farm stay with our trailer. Cass and her family made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The kids loved feeding the farm animals and exploring the paddocks and Dam. We were very kindly treated to some fresh eggs, a pumpkin and some amazing lemons. The site is well maintained and you can see how much love and care goes into it. We can’t wait to visit again. We saw so much local wildlife including deer, wallabies and lots of birdlife. We are had a great time playing with the friendly pups Amity and Tink who came by to say hello. The communication was excellent before and throughout our stay and they even got the fire going for our arrival which was a very much appreciated touch. Thank you Cass and family for a great stay.

A relaxing weekend away

We spent the long weekend at Red Deer Cedarton Farm! It was so beautiful and peaceful. Cass and her family were lovely hosts - providing firewood for the camp fire, showing the children the animals and letting the kids feed/pat them and walking us around the property. The creek next to the camp site is a great spot for the kids to play in - we made boats out of large seed pods and had a boat race! The kids loved Cass’s dog, Amity. She would often come down to our group and loved playing with the kids - one of the happiest dogs we’ve ever seen! We will definitely be back for another visit! Thanks so much, Cass!

Eggsellent Farm Stay!

We booked the Wallaby campsite. It was so lovely and secluded from the rest of the Easter campers. It was a little bit muddy from recent rain, but that didn’t stop us from having a fabulous time. I loved listening to the stream at night and my kids loved playing in there throughout the day. Cassandra and her family are amazing hosts. Cassandra got all the kids together and introduced them to the farm animals. Our kids loved meeting the chickens and collecting freshly laid eggs, washing the horse and watching the cows come in for their breakfast. We also had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny who gave us a special gift which was just so sweet. The location is so good. Less than an hour from Brisbane. Plenty of things to do around the area, including 25 min drive to Manley if you want to head out or just stay and relax by the creek.

Cass the host was lovely. Everybody loved not being cramped with other campers. The little things that Cass did make a huge different with the kids ( Richard the rabbit). The site was lovely. The sound of the creek was refreshing at night listening to. Just trying to work out return dates for another camp there

A magical Easter escape

We camped on Cassandra’s beautiful land over Easter, right after heavy rain—and it was absolutely magical. Cassie is a truly genuine host who went above and beyond: she generously organised animal feeding for the kids, brought out supplies to make scarecrows and dreamcatchers, and even made sure the Easter Bunny paid a visit! The kids were in heaven—spending hours in the stream, melting marshmallows, and making memories, so much so, they didn’t want to leave. It was a joy to stay and we felt so welcomed. Thank you, Cassie, for such a special experience!

We camped in a tent at Cass’s lovely property. The creek provided plenty of water for showers and there was heaps of space between camp sites. Cass is lovely and goes out of her way to take the kids around the farm to help out with the animals. We do plan on returning.

Absolutely fabulous! We booked very last minute but Cassandra could not have been more helpful. Kids loved all the animals, collecting eggs, swimming and exploring the creek ... not to mention swimming in the pool and the amazing views. Loved it all!

Cassandra was so friendly and helpful. Kept in contact with us leading up to our stay due to the recent wet weather. Area was great for a large group with firewood supplied. Would definitely recommend.

We LOVED our weekend at Cedarton Farm. Cass was the ultimate host - quick to return messages especially when we were trying to ascertain weather conditions on the farm from Brisbane, exceptionally welcoming, very generous with her time - a 10/10 host. Our camp site was perfect and to top it all off, we were delivered fresh eggs AND got to meet lots of gorgeous cows and brand new calves.

Long weekend

We stayed with friends for the October long weekend and this hip camp has been our favourite by far. So much so, no one wanted to leave, not even the adults! The sites are huge and capped with low numbers, just the way bush camping should be. Cassandra was a fantastic camp host, eager to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for her family’s property with us all but also respectful of our privacy. She was keen for our kids to be involved with animal feeding and to use the property to its fullest. The kids got to build scarecrows, feed the animals, fill some troughs, watch horse washing and pat the bull. Even a carton of freshly laid eggs on our first morning and ice blocks on the 35deg day. We will definitely head back there for another long weekend. Very steep entry in and out, we used low range 4wd to be sure as we were towing a caravan. See you again soon Cassandra!

Everything about our long weekend here was perfect! Cassandra went above and beyond to make our weekend amazing. She was one of the best hosts we have ever come across while camping! The property is picture perfect with so many fun things for the kids to keep busy. The animals were a highlight along with keeping cool in the creek. The sites are well set apart from each other and so spacious. We honestly can't fault anything with our stay. 100% recommend for anyone with kids that love animals and for adults who love to camp with big open spaces.

Cassandra provided clear direction to the site which has plenty of level sites. She ensured that we were welcomed up arrival. A couple of surprises with three calves being born during our stay.

Cassandra is an amazing host and her property is a little piece of heaven. From the initial message, her communications were fantastic and upon arrival, she made me feel at ease and welcome, was enthusiastic to share their journey so far and show me their future plans for the rest of the property. It is clear that her and her family dedicate alot of time into the care of the land and the beautiful animals that reside there. Kangaroo camp was my favourite, I found the view of the beautiful gum tree, cattle yards and chook pen mesmerising and Iost many hours just watching the cattle graze, while the kookaburras sang in the background. We had the whole three campsites to ourselves with no other bookings the same time we visited, the other two camps, Wallaby and Red Deer we wandered through and found equally as appealing offering more shady options. The bellow of the cows had me in fits of laughter, while the bubbling of the creek beside camp enhanced the purpose of our visit, to disconnect from a busy lifestyle and just reset our souls in nature.

From the initial message I knew I would love this camp. Communications were fantastic, directions clear. Cassie and her family were fantastic and warm welcoming. We booked Kanagaroo camp but had the whole place to ourselves and what a magic slice of paradise they share with us. Alot of hard work and love goes into this place, with the care for the land and animals evident. We were happy to just sit and relax watching the horses, cows and chickens, detaching from a busy life yet knowing we were still a stones throw to Maleny and Woodford if we chose to venture out. Kangaroo camp was fantastic, fairly flat and lots of sun. Wallaby and Red Deer sites were more shady but welcoming with the creek bubbling through all camps. Definitely a place to unwind and reset the soul in nature!

Absolutely fantastic place to camp! Such a range of activities to do from feeding the farm animals with our kids, water play in the creek beside our campsite, and even Australia Zoo only 20mins up the road!

Absolutely beautiful place, Cass and Graeme were lovely and accommodating. My daughter loved seeing the cows and finding all the swings throughout the campsites. Will definitely be back
