We had such a lovely time at this camp. It was private (only one site), well maintained and beautiful. The creek was running and the variety of birds was amazing. Fell asleep to an owl hooting and the sounds of the creek. Close to stony creek day use area and Woodfordia. Great spot, will stay again 🌻

We had such a wonderful time at Fernbank! It was super private, and a quiet spot for myself and my partner to wind down for 1 night. Our dog absolutely loved the creek too! There are a few midgies/mosquitoes so make sure to take some bug spray (this definitely didn’t bother us though!). The road is close, but as others have said there is minimal road traffic (none at all during the night). Would highly recommend :)

Loved our stay at the property, the creek is absolutely beautiful, has tropical feel to it. So peaceful at night, with all the sounds of nature.
Only 10 mins from town if you need to pop out for something.
Will definitely be returning, to be honest we didn't want to leave and go back to reality. Such a magical spot.
Keep in mind if you book the property you can invite family and friends to stay at no extra cost, which is fantastic.

Gina is an incredible host! Before we booked, we contacted Gina about her property, and before we arrived to. Excellent response from Gina!
We had two incredible nights, the creek was lovely. Our border collie had a blast!!
The road is close, but it doesn’t affect the experience!
We will be back!

Fernbank Creek Camp
Beautiful creek side camp, lush green grass and private location. Only 5mins from stony creek day use area and creek next to the camp site is beautiful. Water is a bit low at the moment, would be great after some rain. No mozzies, good sun for solar in the middle of the day and 9mins to Woodford. Pet friendly, our dog loved it! Saw some deer and cattle, lots of bird life too

Very quiet, yes does have a road but it’s not that busy and you barely notice it. Clean and well maintained. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

Beautiful spot! Next to the road but was very quiet at night. Creek didn’t have much water in it when we were there but still lovely listening to the frogs and owls. Look out for the fireflies at night!!

Very peaceful & relaxing
Just a couple of steps & you have the creek just for yourselves
The owner is very accomodating, we forgot to bring our portable gas stove & Gina let us borrow hers.
Highly recommended & we will be back again

Fantastic spot. We loved the privacy and leveled area was perfect for our caravan. The creek was so close by and fun to explore with the kids. It was the perfect place to base ourselves for the Woodford Folk Festival.

Fernbank was great to say the least. The off grid site offered peace & quiet, nobody else in sight, the soundtrack of a campfire, together with the running creek, and the sounds of nature beyond the rainforest trees 👌.
We experienced fireflies, wild deer walking passed our swag late at night, willie wagtails, kookaburras, brown creek frogs.
We also took a short drive to the Stoney Creek day use area which had a clear water swimming area, picnic tables and a drop toilet. Also picked up a few 10 dollar firewood bags for future trips 👍.

Easy access camp site nestled amongst little rocky creeks and green pastures. So much nice space for our two dogs to explore safely off lead. Some nice swimming holes for dogs to have a dip in. Great fire pit.

An ok place to stay, with easy access to a shallow creek. One big down side was the proximity to the road. Not a super busy road but cars passed somewhat frequently at about 80km/hr. Our dog is super loyal but if you had small kids/wandering dogs it could be stressful.

The creek and rainforest at Fernbank are gorgeous. I would highly recommend a stay if you’re looking for a crystal clear and private creek. The road noise was quite loud for us with people working their farms early on Sunday morning and lots of 4WD/Motorbikers on Saturday, and the site was less private than others. However, once you’re down at the creek or running with your dogs off lead, Gina’s place is still well worth a stay. I’ll visit again, and would recommend to others. Thanks Gina, my dogs and I loved your property.

Loved this spot. Really enjoyed having the spot to ourselves, plus it was nice for our dogs to be able to be offleash. They had an amazing time, exploring and spending time in the outdoors.
The road is very close and visible but it didn’t fazed us.

Thank you Gina for a great stay, the site was well maintained and peaceful with the creek running through. It’s close to stoney creek road so very easy to find and the directions were spot on. There was minimal traffic and it didn’t bother us as all, the kids loved seeing the tractor going past. Just up the road is Bellthorpe national park which was stunning. We really enjoyed our stay here, particularly exploring the crystal clear creek, which was easily accessible from the site.

Fernbank is a lovely spot to relax and unwind. Easy to get to, spacious and the stream is a delight.
The nearby road isn't too bad and there were plenty of friendly waves.
Gina is a wonderfully friendly and helpful host.

We loved our stay at Fernbank. It was peaceful even though being near a country road.
Such a great base for exploring the national parks nearby. We loved the Stony Creek Day Area just up the road and also the D’Aguilar National Park about 25 minutes away. Woodford is a lovely nearby town, as was Kilcoy too. We enjoyed a great breakfast and friendly staff at Sticks & Stones Espresso in Woodford.
The campsite was perfect for kicking the soccer ball, exploring the creek and enjoying a fire each night. We will definitely be back again ☺️

I was a bit sceptical when I saw that the camp was so close to the road, but the creek makes up for it and the road isn't very busy. Really nice, flat, well kept spot. The creek is GORGEOUS. And its so nice finding places where you can take dogs offlead, they are few and far between.

A beautiful quiet spot to camp, nice and green with running water on both sides of the property. It had been raining for a couple of days prior, so the creek was in full flow and lovely to see. It was so lovely to hear, especially at night. Gina was the perfect host, with great communication, including giving us updates on the weather prior to our visit.
We tented this time, but are waiting on our caravan delivery so will be back, with a caravan next time.
Our little dog Gus loved the campsite too.
A very relaxing weekend and great spot🙏

A lovely spot surrounded by a running river ready for the whole family including fur babies to explore. Larger enough to bring friends a long but also funnels into a more secluded spot near the fire pit. Gina is a fantastic host and is very easy to communicate with and has your best interests at heart to enjoy the whole experience.
