Lovely stay at Creek Flat - very private, lots of room to spread out and explore. Some of the creek was quite stagnant, but there were some beautiful deep swimming holes in the more flowing and running areas. Long grass all around, but it didn't bother us. So many sedge frogs, marsh frogs, cicadas, monarch butterflies, dragonflies, and cute spiders!

Such a good spot to sit back and relax in nature. Easy to find on the road with the sign at the gate. X-trail got us in and out no dramas. Little creek running through the paddock with lovely shade, was a nice way to spend a couple of hours. Not too much shade out in the paddock on the camping ground flat area.

The track down to the flats becomes very slippery when wet.
We had driven a long way, and did not know that the district had lots of rain. The track was so slippery that we skidded out of control down the hill. More rain was forecast, so we immediately left; we just managed to get out. One 4WD vehicle needed to be winched out.
Sure, this is a farm, but there seemed to be considerable areas with cow dung, and not many areas suitable for camping.

Nice spot, great that we had the whole place to ourselves. We went on the back of a really wet month & week so I had no expectations of a dry site. Ground was firm where we picked. The only suggestion I have to anybody coming is to pack a brush cutter with you (I know I will for next time) even if you don't need it, best to have it on this site.

Spent a night on this beautiful property and loved it. Having the whole property to explore solo was a treat. I was unsure if the grass was going to be too long, but even after a decent amount of rain, it was nothing to be concerned about. The cows do a great job of managing this and there are plenty of open flat spaces to camp. Lots of rolling hills to explore and the creek was full and running after the rain. The cows came to investigate my camp but quickly turned around and went their way. Great space if you prefer camping alone. Definitely need a 4WD.

Super easy to set up camp for the night. We spent the day at Gardners Falls (about 20 mins away) which was beautiful. 100% recommend a 4wd. It was raining when we arrived and setup camp and would be slippery for a 2WD 🙌🏼

Lovely open paddock! Plenty of room for a bigger group to spread out. Gate was well signed and easy to find. Cows came to visit on our second night which was an awesome sight.

Overall, pretty good trip. The directions from owner were clear and easy to follow. It was lovely having the place to ourselves. The grass is long in some areas although nothing a small amount of whipper snipping didn't fix.

We booked for a 3 night stay but left after 1. The property is private and set down from the road which isn’t overly noisy. The biggest issue with the property is the lack of maintenance. The grass was far too long in all areas of the property, typically ankle/shin length and stinging nettles as high as our kids shoulders (they’re 8). Unfortunately, it felt a bit of a risk of snakes with the long grass everywhere and naturally kept the kids close to the camp.
All 4 of the kids had stinging nettle rashes in the first 30mins (they are experienced with them and know to look out for them and how to treat them w the doc leaf plant that’s usually not far away too) and one of them had a leach too.
The creek was ankle deep and stagnant, I’m not sure how much rain it’d need to improve - keeping in mind that there’s been plenty of rain recently looking at how overgrown the paddock is.
There is phone reception up near the powerlines you go under on entry and also atop the hill across the creek crossing.
Overall, it was a miss unfortunately with the lack of creek/length of grass/nettles/thistles/leaches and good area for the kids to play. In summer I’d be cautious of snakes/ticks if the grass is as long.
