We had such a wonderful weekend here and really appreciated how much thought was put into every detail of the place.
The combination of the rustic camping experience with the comfort of having a bathroom, kitchen and a private space made everything feel so cozy and relaxing. The whole place feels incredibly welcoming and thoughtfully prepared for guests to truly enjoy the experience.
Thank you for creating such a warm and comfortable environment. We made beautiful memories and had an amazing weekend!! 🙏

Almost want to keep this to myself, but strongly recommend if you want a private spot with Power, Shower and even an outdoor kitchen area. Hosts were super friendly, only negative is reception is really bad. So if streaming for kids, pre-download

We had a lovely stay here with our family. Perfect place to have easy accessibility to the beach and the hinterland. The bathroom is lovely and clean and the kitchen and hut are well equipped and comfy. We will be back!

Perfect quiet little spot for our family of 4. Loved having easy access to our own toilet and shower. Enjoyed using the fire pit one night to toast marshmallows. Had a soak in a beautiful hot bath tub. And having our own hot shower just makes the whole camping experience with kids very smooth. Really couldn’t fault it. Grassy space for the kids to kick a footy and learnt how to play finsk. No noisy camping neighbours like the big caravan parks. We will definitely be back.

Location is nice and rural very peaceful. Campsite is quite basic and rustic if this is what you are seeking. Would have been great if bathroom was a little cleaner and had a door. Had no contact from the host which was disappointing.

A lovely private spot with great amenities and friendly, helpful host. The property itself is peaceful but be aware that there is some road noise from Kiel Mountain Road and Bruce Highway which some may want to consider.

Had a great time at happy hut with the family. Host is welcoming and friendly. Heaps of space for the kids to run around, flying fox and outdoor bath. So handy having the kitchen/lounge area setup. The hut gives whimsical hobbit vibes from the outside. We got the ‘far away’ feeling while being 10mins drive from an Awesome IGA. Will be back again to use as a home base for the big pineapple, Australia zoo, and beaches etc.

We had such a lovely stay at Happy Hut! The pizza oven was definitely a highlight, and we really enjoyed being able to have a campfire in the designated fire pit. The kitchen was very well equipped, which made everything so much easier.
It was the perfect balance between comfort and a real camping experience. Having access to a sheltered area, a private bathroom, and a hot shower was amazing, while still getting to sleep in a tent and enjoy nature.
There was another site on the same property, but we could barely hear anyone, which made the stay feel very peaceful and private. We listened to birds all day and loved the shaded area under the trees, it felt super cozy.
We truly relaxed and reset during our four days there. Highly recommend, and we’d love to come back one day, maybe even to try the other site too.

We found Katrina attended to our enquires thoughtfully. We loved having the area to ourselves. It's a great spot to camp for couples. We intend visiting again and our family has responded very positively to our photos and comments about the camp area. I think they will camp there some time as well.
It's rustic, charming and private.

We had an agenda while we were on the Sunshine Coast, and Happy Haven was well situated for us. Katrina & Co. were very friendly and nonintrusive, except maybe for the large mower first thing in the morning. The facilities were suitably accommodating and the availability of firewood was a pleasant extra. Thanks for having us, we’ll book again.

Absolutely every thing about this place from location to having plenty of shade and cool in the afternoon no matter how hot the day is . Then can just cool off in outdoor shower. Peace and quiet with everything you need no matter what your set up ..

Great location while still being close to everything you need. The kids absolutely loved it, especially the swings and flying fox. The host was very friendly and understanding.
Perfect spot for a family or even 2–3 families travelling together. Having a toilet and shower was a huge bonus, especially when travelling with kids.

The site was very private and once a minor issue with the hot water was quickly sorted it was an amazing place to spend our time in the region. Tucked up in a quiet location but close enough to local attractions. The facilities were exactly as described and provided everything we needed.

Very quiet, private site with a great view! Having our own shower and toilet was very convenient. A solid table and two chair were provided. Perfect for the four of us but this site could easily accommodate more.

My family and I had a great time at Happy Hut, there was 11 of us with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The camp kitchen had everything we needed, even a full size fridge. There are lots of places a short drive away to visit like Maroochy River and the Big Pineapple. We will definitely be back in the future.

Incredible spot! We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Happy Hut. Owners were so accomodating and kind. We will DEFINITELY be back! Facilities are great! Indoor shower plus an outdoor shower and bathtub which was awesome!
