Jarravale farm stay is located in the picturesque pioneer valley amongst the peace and tranquillity of sugar cane fields. This is our beautiful home come and share it with No mean No so don't ask Josie for an exemption to dump Porta Potties down our toilet with our without chemicals. It is gross to start with think of you fellow campers and it kills our septic . No Check ins after 5.30 PM will be accepted, so plan your trip to arrive before 5.30 pm. Book in officer will be gone home for the day. No Check ins before 2pm Please, We do guide Tours of the Animal farm. So, for safety reason we do not want campers parking their van before the families leave. So please don't ask Josie for an early check in to jeopardize safety of these families. Check out 10am. If you want to visit the animal farm Closed in shoes Please. This is an insurance requirement. Jarravale offers free access to the miniature animal farm for Hipcampers. Jarravale has a wide range of aviary birds and farm animals for children and animal lovers to enjoy. We are perfectly situated if you want to explore the Mackay region and what the Pioneer Valley has to offer. Come and watch Platypus and turtles play in the billabong. No fires allowed at all, not even for cooking, except in winter. Fire pits will be provided, in winter, not individual fires allowed. We have fire pits to keep you warm on the cool winter nights as you sit around and share your travel stories. Sit back in tranquility as you watch the platypus, turtles and wild life gather in and around the billabong as the sun sets. It's a great way to finish the day. We also offer indoor accommodation for those who prefer all the mod cons. There are toilets and hot showers for campers, and access to the laundry. We have potable water hookups at most camp sites and we also offer four powered sites. You can use one of the two camp kitchens to cook your meals and use the picnic table for meals. Power is available at one of the camp kitchens to recharge your phones and appliances.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farm! Our host Josie was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our baby even got to feed the guinea pigs, which was an absolute highlight and so adorable to watch. The farm is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also loved the stunning night sky – the stars were amazing! We highly recommend staying here.

This was our favorite campsite of all! Josie is such an amazing human being and you can see and feel her love for animals and the farm. We had 2 wonderful nights staying in our tent. You can get fresh eggs on site so don’t bring any 😁 it’s very quiet and peaceful and kids have lots of fun aswell! We will be back ♥️

An absolutely fantastic campsite, very small in a beautiful setting, toilets and facilities were great very clean and well built, luxurious. The hosts were incredibly freindly and so were their dogs. If you do decide to book with them go direct. https://www.laurel-bank.com.au/

Absolutely loved our stay at this farm! The sunsets were truly spectacular, and our host was incredibly warm and welcoming. I was smitten with the animals and loved the chance to get up close with them. Our site felt private, with access to a well-equipped camp kitchen and a breathtaking view of the stars at night. Definitely a stay worth every moment 🌅

Nice camping especially with kids. Feeding the animals was great. We searched for the Platypus in the billabong, but couldn't find it at dusk or dawn. Better luck next time

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Josie's farm. Being able to get involved with feeding the animals each day was such fun, and Josie was so accommodating and patient with us, really making an effort to ensure everyone could get involved. The farm was such a calm and relaxing place to camp, beautifully kept and with great amenities. We will certainly be back! Thanks Josie.

A beautiful place nestled in the sugar cane fields. Josie has a variety of sweet animals which you can see and feed. Great for children. It is a bit far from the main A1 for 1 night. Very clean, Josie and Jody are very nice and hospitable

We had a lovely couple of days at Jarravale. Josie met us on arrival and allowed us to choose a site. Josie gave us good clear instructions for the property, she invited us up to see the animals. She told us if we're lucky we could see the Platypus in the billabong (2nd night I did 😊). It was a pleasant stay with no one else there!!

We recently stayed at this camp in our caravan we had an unforgettable experience! The location was ideal just 4 minutes from Woolies and a little town centre. It felt like a peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature. One of the absolute highlights was the animals. From gentle donkeys and graceful deer to the colourful birds, they added so much joy and character to the experience. The camp itself was very well-maintained with great, clean amenities, lush green grass, and beautiful plants and trees throughout the property—it was such a refreshing and relaxing place to be. What truly made our stay exceptional was Josie, our amazing host. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The most special part was how she took the time to show our kids around, introduce them to all the animals, and even let them help with feeding. It was such a fun and meaningful experience for them, and they’re still talking about it! Josie’s warmth, care, and genuine passion for the place made the stay truly memorable. Thank you again !

We arrived in a middle of a storm and got an impressive Lightshow without realizing how big the farm is. We were welcomed with open arms and are impressed by the lovely farm! Thank you for having us and also showing us around the next day. Sweet little animals and I think Josie has a name for all of them. Can only recommend and keep it up taking care! Cheers

After a long drive we made it to Jarrovale ans what a pleasant and perfect spot for our nights stop! A fully working farm with a whole host of animals to wander round and see, perfect on site facilities such as shower block, picnic and bbq area. Host Josie was amazing, so knowledgeable and even let my girls feed her newest visitor, a baby wallaby! 100% would salty there again!!!

What a gem! Loved the shady spot, and beautiful sunsets. We were able to use the big shed for our Christmas lunch- such a blessing after a wet morning. The animals are a bonus- sweet to share pats and chat with. It was so special to see a chick hatch on Christmas morning. Thank you!

We had a powered site for our small caravan. We had toilets, shower and basic camp kitchen available to us. Everything was clean and well presented. Josie was an incredible host. She answered the million questions and requests from our 2 young children when interacting with the animals on the farm.

Lovely spot of land. Josie gave us a tour of the farm and allowed my daughter to feed a few. The animals and property are well looked after.

Josie the host was just lovely, she helped us get settled and made sure we felt welcome. The animals are beautiful and easy to see from our site so even when it was raining we were able to see them. Everything is extremely clean and well kept, Josie does an amazing job, we will definitely be back.
