Valley View Camping is a 10-acre property, bordered by the magical Eungella National Park. Our place makes a great base to explore the remarkable Finch Hatton Gorge and its many waterfalls, lush flora and volcanic boulders. We have two large, flat, grassed paddocks with sweeping mountain views. We offer up to six campsites, all accessible for any type of vehicle, and you choose where you want to pitch/park on arrival. Both paddocks have easy access to flushing toilets and hot showers. However, the lower paddock has our playground and undercover areas. Your own pets are welcome, we just ask you to please pick up after them. Campfires are permitted only if you have your own firepit, brazier or similar and you bring your own firewood. We welcome campers here to enjoy our stunning and peaceful corner of the world, so no loud music please and generators off between the hours of 10pm - 8am.We own a 10-acre property, bordered by the magical Eungella National Park. Campsite had a nice shower and toilets. HOWEVER, be aware if you’re booking during rainy/off season the campsite gets extremely boggy!! Our van got stuck in the mud and there is no signal. Eventually we found someone to help but we were also informed that the owners probably weren’t there and most of the houses surrounding the campsite were empty holiday homes!

A great place to stay!

While this site is right next to the road, it’s not a main road and traffic is minimal and at night virtually none existent. There is beautiful green grass to camp on and easy to find a spot away from others so you can be a little private. Big rigs have plenty of space. The mountain scenery offers a tranquil vista. The owner of this property offers some great amenities with a children’s playground for little ones and large shades for those who are camping and don’t have large open shades. A Fire pit with bench seats on the “upper” paddock and a fire pit on the lower. Both upper and lower have bathrooms which are very well appointed.

Good but not great
8 ft pop-up camper ·
If you really want proximity to Finch Hatton gorge this is only a few minutes to the main carpark. Amenities were great. It’s awesome that dogs can be off leash. Overall good value. Things we didn’t like: - in the warmer month no natural shade, it got very hot under the awning - no access to the creek from the property - Noisy neighbouring dogs at all hours of the night. - you are camped up next to the road, not as large as expected. If returning to the region I would choose somewhere else next time to compare my options.
