Well......it's that time of year again when the rains don't fall and we enter our dry season. AS AT 11th OCT - WE HAVE DECIDED TO CLOSE OUR HIPCAMP UNTIL FURTHUR NOTICE AND WE'VE RECEIVED SOME DECENT RAIN. THE CREEK HAS DROPPED CONSIDERABLY AND THE RISK OF FIRES IS HIGH AT THE MOMENT . WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE BUT SAFETY HAS TO BE AT THE TOP OF OUR PRIORITY AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR BEING SO DRY. We're not known as a party place, more a place to relax and unwind and let the kids be free and give parents a chance to unwind. So we ask that music and any noise be kept to a minimium by 9 pm . Ilbilbie Station is 1001 acres. There are no neighbors to annoy, as we reside at the end of Landells Road. Our property is a small family-owned working cattle station. There is native wildlife, birds and kangaroos. Sit and relax, take a dip in the creek or explore the property. There are some kayaks, SUP and large tyre tube at the creek for you to use. Non-potable water can be used from the green tank on the hill , via gravity feed Please let me know if your going to be arriving after 5pm (scroll down further for full detailed instructions on how to get here, on our main page)

Ilbilbie Station Farm Stay is only a few minutes off the highway DIRECTIONS- 1. turn into Ilbilbie service station (United) 2. go over the railway line behind the servo 3. follow road around to the right ( approx 400m) 4. turn left into Landells Road 5. continue down Landells Rd (go past "Little Bity Station") 6. take the road to the left, go slow thru the dip. 7. You have arrived You will be provided with a keypad code when you book, which will expire on your departure. If the keypad is playing up, please ring/message me and I can let you in. Many a friend has camped by the creek, and loved every minute of it, so we thought we would like others to share this experience. Dogs are allowed, preferably on a leash/lead, just so they don't annoy others. All types of campers, caravans, RVs, tents are welcome to set up anywhere you choose at the camp area (just be mindful of fellow campers, especially if running a generator). We ask that all campers are fully self-contained (own toilet is essential - NO toilet facilities NO entry sorry) please take rubbish with you when you leave. (Grey water can be released onto the ground) leveling of caravans maybe required in places. If there's a sign on the gate saying 'KEEP OUT' then that's exactly what it means. Marion Creek runs thru our place providing beautiful fresh water to swim, paddle a kayak and search for the little turtles. Please understand that we do have dry times so the creek may not always be running, but there's always water. You're welcome to have a fire in the rock pits provided, so gather your timber (from fallen trees only) and enjoy. Needing any supplies Ilbilbie service station on the highway has most things. If you'd like to take a look around Greenhills and Carmila beach are close and Cape Palmerston National Park is just up the road. Sarina is a 1/2 hr drive and Mackay approx 1 hr away. The closest dump points to the north, is in Sarina beside Mitre 10 (turn left at first set of lights) to the south at Carmila Beach. We ask that you book via Hipcamp and we'll stay in contact with you when required. (We are not a commercial campground)
