For Horse Enthusiasts
A secure front paddock accommodates up to two horses and sits directly in front of the shed house. Water is provided; owners supply feed and hay. Riding is not permitted on the property for insurance reasons, but local riding trails are just 20 minutes away. Float parking is available—please enquire.

Midskinrick is a 40-acre waterfront property on Baffle Creek in Queensland. 70km north of Bundaberg, 125km south of Gladstone. This little piece of paradise, on the southern bank of Baffle Creek, is a great place to fish from the bank or launch your boat, crab, swim (in our dam), relax and enjoy the peace while watching the wildlife.

There are 10 large family sized powered sites with a firepit available for each site (no water connection) situated near the dam. Access to, Hot showers (Small fee applies), Flushing toilets, Washing Machine (Small fee per load) and a Camp kitchen. The powered sites are approximately 400m from the riverbank. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, however; fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered, do not add as an extra.
In addition there are 7 large family sized unpowered sites with a firepit available for each, overlooking the river flats - Septic flushing toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Drinking water, Camp kitchen area, Firepits - bring your own wood or purchase from the owners (please do not source firewood from the roadside due to animal habitats). Hot showers are available near the dam camping area for a small fee. There is no option to add power here. Strictly unpowered.
Bring your kayaks, stand up paddle boards and other floating devices to enjoy in the dam, Push Bikes to ride the trails, bat and ball for a friendly game of cricket and a banana lounge to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The cabins are comfortable with gas hot water to the ensuite, two burner gas cooktop, solar lighting and a 240 volt outlet suitable for the supplied fan or charging phones and laptops. The firepit area is shady during the day and close to the creek. Lots of birdlife and we spotted possums, marsupial mice, platypus and wallabies.
Host Jimmy is very helpful and welcoming and his directions are clear.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabins were clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room around them for our caravan and campervans. The fire pit is surrounded by a concrete slab, which was great. It's a lovely property, which is within easy reach of lots of great parts of the region. We hope to be back for a summer trip to enjoy a sit in the creek!

What a gorgeous piece of paradise! Having the cabin and the space to our group of 15 (adults and children) for three nights was stress free for me! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out a little. The dogs had their freedom without having to be on leash and enjoyed the cold creek! Looking forward to visiting again when warmer to just sit in the creek!!

My family and I went to Cahoola for our Easter camp-out this year and we had a fabulous time. The cabins have all you need, shower, toilet and small kitchenette plus a queen-sized bed (don't forget to take your linens). The camp area has a nice little firepit (don't forget your wood either) but it's a good size for just sitting around and relaxing. There is a small creek abounding the camp site for a refreshing cool off as well, so everything that you want is right here.
