Honestly one of the best hipcamps we have ever been to! So much to see and provided with all the equipment you could need. It was so relaxing and then stars were unreal!

Overall amazing stay at stargazers, very peaceful and had everything you needed, was great to take our dog and place to relax by the fire, very comfy bed and hosts communicated everything to know. Definitely recommended and hope to stay again.

Avon-Maree was a great host, very helpful prior to arrival when l was having problems accessing the Hipcamp app. She also went the extra mile in generosity and hospitality at the end of my stay, despite being busy with farm work, to ensure I had time with their beautiful horses! I really appreciated this!
I enjoyed the adventure of staying in the shipping container cabin, creatively designed and well thought out. Very cute!
The view was pretty, particularly nice to look down upon the sky and trees reflecting in the dam.
I liked being able to walk in the nearby State Forest and have nature all to myself instead of passing people all the time on a National Park walk. There was also a variety of birds to enjoy on the farm, brown pigeon doves, fantails and a hooting owl at night. Wallabies were also visiting the paddocks.
Camp fire under the Stars with Venus shining in the West after sunset topped off an enjoyable, laid back day. Ps. Swinging in hammock was fun. Thanks for lovely stay Avon!!!
Everything was well though out and homely for our little get away. We look forward to coming back soon. Remember some carrots for the friendly horses!

We stayed here with our baby and two dogs. Despite the weather, we had a great time. The hosts were lovely. We recommend to people that are nervous about that first camping trip with baby. The stars were absolutely beautiful out here too!

This was our second time at the Star gazers cabin. It’s become our favourite romantic getaway spot. Perfect area to relax in nature and the quiet and awesome and safe for a dog too!
Avon is super hospitable and an awesome host.
Comfy loft setup with everything you could need! Could not fault anything with out stay, hot outdoor shower and secure fencing if you were to bring any animals 😍. Enjoyed stargazing by the fire and soooo happy we stayed the two nights.
Stargazing is exactly what you will do! This slice of pastoral paradise delivers peace, tranquility and the Milky Way.

We LOVED this place!! Perfect little get away with our 5-month old fur-baby Leo and he loved it! Quirky, quaint, had everything y9ou need. The hot outside shower with fairy lights were beautiful! Spent our time by the fire, watching the nature, horses and daydreaming.... the loaf bed was super comfy, stunning views when you wake up. We are already planning our next get-away to this little gem :)

Avon and Brian have created a lovely relaxing escape that has all the feels of camping, but all the luxury comforts of home. The dog proof fence allowing our dog to roam free created an even more relaxing experience for all of us. The horses were a highlight - they had such big and beautiful personalities and we loved seeing them every morning. The hosts were great communicators and made sure to accommodate for all of our needs. We wanted to extend our stay we loved it so much but unfortunately they were booked - so we will definitely be back! I can’t rate this place enough. If you’re sitting on a yes or no - it’s a yes!! Book it, you won’t regret it!! Thanks again Avon and Brian for creating such a beautiful home away from home for both us and our pup. Can’t wait to be back!
This is a very special place. A lovely blend of comfort and camping. Comfortable bed & well thought out set up & amenities. Beautiful location, peaceful & has a view. Friendly horses came for a visit to top off the experience. Would gladly book again.

This is a well thought out and wonderful place to get away from the rest of the world. The views are great, the amenities are perfect and the hosts are fabulous. Excellent communication and great value for money. The photos don’t do the place justice. Very relaxing and wonderful spot for a base camp to explore the region. My pup and I truly loved our stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Stargazers. The cabin has everything you need, the fire pit is wonderful especially cooking a roast in the camp oven. The horses that came to visit were delightful. The stars were just amazing at night. Highly recommend to stay here if you are looking for peace and serenity.

We had such an amazing stay here. The space is beautifully set up and completely surrounded by trees and nature, which made it feel peaceful and private from the moment we arrived. Our dog also had the best time and felt comfortable and happy straight away, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The horses were a beautiful addition and really added to the overall experience. Sleeping in the loft-style bed was such a highlight — waking up each morning felt like being tucked up amongst the trees. Little touches like showering under the fairy lights at night made it feel extra special.
It’s the perfect place to come and relax and truly unwind. Avon and Brian have done an incredible job creating such a unique and thoughtful space. We’d absolutely recommend staying here.

Had a lovely stay! A beautiful clear night under the stars with a campfire. Our golden retriever enjoyed meeting horses for the first time - she didn’t sleep well but we were out like a light.

We had a wonderful stay at the stargazer’s cabin! Our dog absolutely loved having the freedom to run around in the fenced yard and even made friends with the friendly horses nearby.
The stars at night were incredibly clear, and it was so peaceful being surrounded by nature, especially waking up to the sound of birds in the morning.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again!
We absolutely loved our two night stay and it was the most relaxed we have felt in years. Every detail was taken care of, simply drive in and have a beautiful camping experience without packing a thing. Peaceful, clean, comfy bed and beautiful outdoor shower. We enjoyed watching the stars and having a camp fire. 10/10.

Great little getaway. Better than it looks in photos
thank you so much for letting us stay with you at star gazers cabin, we loved being there and out two dogs sailor and scout had such a blast!
We had the yummiest dinner on the camp fire and the coffee in the morning was amazing.

Beautiful location and quiet glamping spot to zone out and reset..
Great base level of utensils, bedding supplied. You could literally bring your food and clothes and be pretty well set.
Absolutely stunning and peaceful location. Avon and Brian were spectacular hosts and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stargazers! The cows came to visit and the horses were very friendly and tolerable of our excitable GSD. The full fence is a bonus! We enjoyed the campfire where we cooked a steak dinner. Even in the wind and rain the cabin felt so cosy and well equipped. Avon and Brian are excellent hosts and we hope to be back for a longer stay soon! Many thanks!
We had a wonderful second stay at Avon’s. Everything was as lovely as the last time we visited and this trip was made extra special from all the horse interaction we got, also I loved watching all the cows relax in the field. Can’t wait to come back 😊
