Beautiful private spot with a lovely view. Nice and open for solar. We extended our stay as we didn’t want to leave. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quite, private and relaxing off grid stay

We had the property to ourselves for the week. Camille was great in replying to any enquiries. Perfect weather. Cows were very inquisitive. Highly recommend any camping enthusiasts. We were off grid the whole week, no issues.

If you don’t book Breathe at Rules Beach you are doing yourself a disservice! The whole place is amazing! Sunrise, sunsets, moon rises, visitors from emu, kangaroos, cows, many bird species, and crabs caught in the creek. Fires at night, music playing and sipping wine whilst cooking dinner and watching the sunset. One of the best parts is it’s dog friendly. Our baby lived her best life here with so much stimulation she was exhausted every night. Camille was an amazing host, always responding to messages. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us 🙏🏻

Camping at Breathe @ Rules Beach was a serene experience. We enjoyed Emus and Wallabies as soon as we arrived as well as the abundant bird life and gorgeous cows. There were other campers but the space available meant you felt like it was just you and the stars.

Amazing Farm Stay with Ocean views!

What an great site! Incredible views at both sunrise and sunset! Only about 10 minutes to the Deepwater 4x4 entrance and close to Rules Beach and Baffle Creek. Camille was a great host who communicated all of the specifics clearly and we would definetly stay again!

Nice peaceful location away from the road with a big grassy area to set up camp. Space between camps would’ve normally been good but for some reason it was over booked and we had to camp between two sites. This also meant we had no fire pit which was disappointing. The front gate was also a bit cumbersome. No need to open a combination lock box to get a key for a chain around the middle of gate with a sliding keeper. A single combination lock through the keeper would make it easier and do away with the chain and one lock. The back road up behind the beach to Agnus waters was a great surprise and it’s a short drive to Rules beach for a swim.

We loved our stay at Breathe at Rules Beach. Camp ground is located on top a small ridge with cool sea breezes & ovean views through the trees. Camp sites are large, flat & grassy with plenty of space between sites. We originally booked five nights but stayed an extra 2 nights, loved the access to Mitchell creek perfect for Kayaks & small boats. Would like to thank our host Camille she was allways very responsive and very helpfull.

We had the best time at our campsite. So many bird species and loved the cattle. We had plenty of space for our 2 vehicles and a lovely view of both the land and sea. We took a brief stroll down to the fishing area which is small but lovely. Take not though the sand flies are ferocious so put bug spray on first. Also spotted an Emu and a beautiful red belly snake, which we didn’t disturb. Rules is so close to plenty of fishing and also the beach. Definitely coming back. Thanks again Camille for your help and for answering my many questions 🤩

Absolutely perfect spot. Not only is it well maintained, its set out that even if you were not the only campers there its extremely private. We were lucky enough to have the properly to ourselves. Local cattle was pretty funny and exquisitive. Bugs are not even an issue with the creek being so close either. Crabs in the creek, and even a few small cod and bream. Owners were more than helpful with any questions and issues. Highly recommend and will return.

This property was everything we wanted and more. We spent a very busy week down SE QLD so we were looking for tranquility and that's what we got. The only campers there for our two night stay which is exactly what the doctor ordered. The tree swing was a bonus. The cows were very inquisitive licking our van and solar blanket but very cute to see many calves and plenty of wildlife. Beach was only a 5 min drive and the nearest pub only 15 mins. We will definitely be back in 2026. Thanks Camille for opening your property to us 🙏

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful ocean view site. The location is incredibly convenient yet feels like a world away — all you hear are the sounds of birds and friendly farm animals. The views are stunning and the night sky was absolutely breathtaking for stargazing.

Stayed 3 nights and loved it. The sun rises directly ahead over the ocean in Spring and it's so beautiful. We took the canoe for a paddle through the mangroves which was cool. We were glad we took the gazebo though as there wasn't much shade in the spot we camped and the sun was blazing. Really nice spot though and the bird life is awesome.

Such a beautiful peaceful spot. We stayed 2 nights and as weather was perfect we would have loved to stay more. We had the camp to ourselves which made it even more special. We canoed on Mitchell River both upstream and down, definitely wished we had bait for fishing and crabbing (next time). The beach was a short canoe trip across the river and that was beautiful. Definitely recommend, just watch the cow pats!!!

It's a great spot with open plains. I've been twice now and both times I have enjoyed the ocean view and nature. Would not recommend going down baffles Creek, we found massive crocodile foot prints going in and out of the water. One of the properties neighbours also told us that baffles creek is constantly monitored by the rangers and they are constantly taging the crocudiles as well. Apart from the creek I would definitely recommend this spot for a peaceful get away
