The lady at reception was lovely and welcoming. The amenities are good, lots of clean toilets and showers - showers were very spacious and hot! Only down side is the spaces are very small and close together, saying this, the lady did give us two spaces as we had only booked one without us even asking but even having two felt squishy. Good site if you just sleeping + showering while going off exploring.

The park is very close to town and we were able to be collected by Cape Trib Connections and easily catch an Uber to other activities. Sites are small but angled for maneuverability. Facilities were clean. The path to the bathrooms are often pavers which are lifting in places and can be a little trippy and there are lots of sirens, due to being so close to major infrastructure. We didn't mind though. Staff were a little stand-offish but may have had things on their mind. Overall our stay was pleasant and convenient. We loved Cairns!
