The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Recycling bins are provided, otherwise campers are required to take their rubbish with them. Wi-Fi and Telstra coverage are available. Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

Your camping/van area is supplied with red/bins. 2 Portaloos available at the front and back section. Dogs allowed but please let me know first. They will need to be on leash all the time and well behaved. Please pick up after them ANYWHERE they go toilet and also they must be vaccinated. No cats allowed. A campfire during permitted times is allowed but only in the fire pits. There is loads of dried kindling and small logs around the property otherwise please bring your own. All Sites have fire pits. CHILDREN are to be accompanied by an adult at all times if walking around the property. Beautiful spot to relax, with loads of wildlife and bird watching. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Located just one hour from Sydney, our property features 19 acres of pure serenity with two dams and one large enough to kayak on (kayaks supplied). The back of the property is perfect for camping and suitable for a small to medium caravan/camper. The larger dam has a picnic area and kayaks available to paddle on. Adjoining our property is Nattai National Park with a lovely 20 minute walk down to Little River. The Aqua Pool Trail in the National Park is just gorgeous. If you wish to try and catch some yabbies from the dams the only allowable and fun way is by a long stick and sausage. Hooks, fishing lines and traps are not allowed as we have people, dogs and horses swimming in the dams. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their shower/toilet set up. We do have two drop pit toilets available and each campsite has a pit fire provided. We are getting low on firewood so you will need to bring some along with you. There is access to drinking water. Our property is 2WD accessible and can accommodate small caravans and camper trailers. Not far from Buxton is Thirlmere where the Steam Train Museum is and train rides are available on the weekends, a great activity for the kids. Thirlmere Lakes National Park is perfect for a relaxing picnic, walk, birdwatching, and glimpse into locomotive history. Mittagong and Bowral have great wineries with restaurant/bistro. Pets are welcome. There's a range of different bushwalking trails in the region, including Starlights trail, a scenic bushwalk suited to experienced hikers, which forms part the Greater Blue Mountains trail network between Mittagong and Katoomba.

Such a beautiful place. It felt like we were a million miles away from everything. The campsites are well spaced out, so you get plenty of privacy, and the whole property has a really relaxing vibe. We spent our evenings by the fire and our mornings listening to the birds. The shower facilities were great and the hosts were very welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet nature escape.

Absolutely beautiful piece of paradise. The track in tested us and our set up to start with but after the first run down we grew confidence quickly and by the end of our stay it was a fun test for even the missus to navigate, our stock standard Toyota prado handled it easy with the camper trailer. The horses are friendly and inquisitive so bring lots of carrots and apples, the alpacas keep their distance but didn’t see to mind us. The view from the dunny is fantastic and you don’t get better than that. There’s plenty of different options for camping spots and they’re all spread out so you don’t feel like you’re intruding on anyone’s privacy. Would be great place to enjoy over summer with a big group of friends. The beach is a great little swimming spot for a quick freshen up as it’s pretty chilly! But 100% refreshing. Didn’t see any platypus or fish but heard rumours they were there. Damien and Tammie are great hosts with lots of extras to offer so make sure you grab some fresh bread even with Bathurst being a short drive away you feel like you’re in a world of your own. 10/10 will be back!

We highly recommend a stay at Canoelands Orchard! We had such a fun and memorable experience camping with our 20ft caravan. Access was easy, and the spacious sites made for a very comfortable stay. A highlight for our family was the hands-on experience for the kids. They absolutely loved feeding the animals and picking and eating the delicious winter fruits straight from the orchard. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly! It was such a delightful getaway, and we’d love to return in the summertime to experience it in a different season.

Stayed at Rivers Edge campsite at Watton Airstrip, Damo is great bloke, very accommodating, friendly and helpful, campsite was beautiful and we'll maintained, right on the river, loverly property. clean drop toilet. You must have basic knowledge on how to drive your 4WD in low range as the track in is a moderate 4wd track which adds to the camping experience. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at The Cove, and it was such an incredible spot! Tucked away on its own, our camp was complete with the sound of the creek running, 2 access points to the water for us to go paddle boarding or go for a swim, and 2 big fire pits! Heaps of available wood in the area to cut for fires. The hot tub was an awesome addition, highly recommend! If you’re looking for a peaceful weekend getaway (or even a week, this place is perfect for it) then I highly rate it! Will definitely be back
