There is excellent fishing and kayaking on the creek, and nearby bush tracks are perfect for walking, exploring, or mountain biking. In the evening, relax around a campfire and soak up the sounds of the bush.
The campsite is suited for groups of up to 20 people and is accessible to both 4WD and AWD vehicles. It is located about 25 minutes from Batemans Bay, making it easy to pop into town for supplies or a casual lunch.
Whether you’re pitching a tent or parking a caravan, you’ll be camping with a view. River Run Farm is bordered by the Clyde River, Currowan Creek, State Forests and National Parks, offering plenty of opportunity for outdoor adventure.
You’ll need to bring your own drinking water and shower setup. A portaloo is available on site, and rubbish amenities can be arranged if needed.

Brooman is a working farm and encompasses lots of beautiful spaces, restored old buildings, two small mountains, fertile river flats, native forests, grasslands, deep water holes, tree covered rapid sections of river and sweeping views.
Brooman is less than 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast. Shallow Crossing is 10 minutes to the south. North is Pigeon House car park, Yadboro and the base of The Castle. To the West there are hundreds of kilometres of Forestry and National Park roads through some of the most spectacular forested mountain country east of the Coastal Range.
The Clyde River Berry Farm is just minutes down the road. Local fish and chips, great coffee and handmade bread is 25mins drive at Burrill Lake. Some of the best restaurants and bars on the coast are less than 40 minutes drive at Milton and Mollymook.

It is a 10 min drive from Nelligen town centre and a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience.
The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream.
You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water.
The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region.
Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper).
This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day.

Your host is Loretta Parsley, a locally known elder and custodian of the Walbunja country and Yuin people, and she will share her love of the area and local history with you. She is also an artist and offers Aboriginal Art Classes and Boomerang Design Workshops - book one during your stay for an enriching cultural experience.
The nearest beach to the property is Depot Beach, a 10-minute drive away, a beautiful cove with some lovely nearby bush and coast walks through the Murramarang National Park. The nearest river swimming is Shallow Crossing, with crystal clear waters, also just 10 minutes away. There are also some well-established bushwalks on the property if you aren't wanting to venture out.
Clyde River Berry Farm is on the way to Shallow Crossing, a great day out for the kids, where you can pick your own berries (when in season) and have their berry ice cream. Plus the famous East Lynne Pie Shop is not far away - try their apple pies!
Batemans Bay is also just a 15-minute drive south, the closest large township for supplies, cafes, restaurants and the beautiful Clyde River entrance.

It has flat areas with plenty of free timber for the designated fire pits. I have tried to create a haven for wildlife including Kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and platypus. I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. You can explore the property along the tracks, paddle, swim or fish in the river, enjoy the fauna, wildlife and birdlife.
Located not far from Braidwood, a town steeped in history, with good shopping, coffee shops and great food.

There is so much to see and do. Climb Pigeon House Mountain or cruise on the Merinda up the Nelligen River over a seafood lunch...you will not be disappointed.
Upon arrival, you will be able to choose a spot on the property that you wish to set up. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and take all waste when they go. Strictly no 'digging a hole.'
When booking please note that one site is big enough for your van or tent, the extras button is for extra guest/children in your tent or van.
If you have guests with another tent or van and vehicle they need to book their own site
The pubs and clubs are a near convenience, or you can just kick back by your own pit fire and enjoy the stars in the safety of The Hundred Acre Woods.

Orange Grove was established in 1856 on the banks of the cylde River Nelligen.
It is set on 40 acres nestled on the edge of the Village of Nelligen, (15min Walk to its cafe and pub) and 8km west of Batemans Bay (10mindrive).
Our camp grounds are set up on the Clyde's banks, all able to support enough area and access for 2wd, 4wd, RV and Car Camper set ups.
Orange Grove, has a small basic boat ramp (there are public ramps 2mins down the road). With a beach and pontoon, you are able to leave your boat in the river for the duration of your stay. Batemans Bay is 15min down stream, an easy ride to pick up items not found in Nelligen.
Our camp ground has a covered area with BBQ Facilites, tables, chairs, Water, fire pit (used in under the correct conditions), a toilet (Bring own Toilet paper).
We are pet friendly, however we do have wildlife on the property and livestock, so we ask that have full control and take responsibility of your pets.
We always have a presence on the property and have good Telstra coverage, so although you feel a million miles from nowhere you also feel secure.

It is also roughly the same coming via Western Distributor from Kings Highway Once on these roads a vast part of your drive will be on dirt, and may be a little testing in wet weather, however you will discover some much natural beauty when you arrive at your destination
Please also note that there is no reception in this area, the closest place for phone reception is at Pigeon House Mountain. In the event of any emergency the caretaker does have STARLINK to assist with contacting medical authorities or family.

1. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property (which we strongly believe should be permitted.
2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. FREE FIREWOOD is available on site.
3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Please message us in advance for advice if you are concerned about the weather or vehicle access.
4. PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but must be controlled and cleaned up after.

I’ve been to Clyde RIver Camp 3 times now and each time I fall more and more in love with it! It’s a great location, the grounds are well looked after, the toilet snd showers are in great condition and Ross and Lisa are very welcoming! The boat ramp is very accessible and we had no issue launching our boat from there.
Our dogs love the location as well!
Already planning the next trip back!

We camped at the Layton’s site, nicely tucked away at the end of the property. Fantastic spot, the kids lived playing in the flowing river and later cooking over the fire. We will be staying here again!

Clyde River Campground is in such beautiful location. We stayed for a night in our campervan on a powered site. Right on the river it was a really relaxing stay. The grounds are well maintained, the facilities are basic but all that you need. Very peaceful and tranquil location. Great if you have a boat as you can access the river from the boat ramp on the property. We also had our dogs with us which was no stress. The other campers also had dogs and all got along very nicely.

What a wonderful, restorative escape! Such a top spot by the river. Amazing swimming hole for hot days. Saw platypuses, a wombat and water dragons. Simple, rustic, perfect shack. So well positioned; had everything we needed. Good walking nearby. Looking forward to going back already. Phil was a great host.

Wow!! What an incredible campground, worth every penny. So much privacy, nice and flat, the flushing toilet was a hit and also the entertainment area is gorgeous too. Kayaking on the river was alot of fun and sitting under the shelter in the river was so relaxing on a hot day. Tryg is an awesome host, thank you for sharing your beautiful property for us.

We loved our stay at Clyde River Campground! So very peaceful - just the kookaburras and us for some of the three nights. We really felt we could unwind. Even when there were a few others we were all spread out with 100s of metres between us.
It was great having a flush toilet and hot shower available as a back up to our own facilities - thank you!
We loved Ross and Lisa’s very well maintained boat ramp, which was right near our campsite. I was impressed seeing a 32 odd ft boat launch there! We just wheeled our little 12ft dingy over haha!
Ross and Lisa are very welcoming and helpful. Ross kindly helped us with a couple of hiccups we had with our first trial of our gear. Thanks Ross!
I wouldn’t recommend a low to the ground car on the road in- quite a few corrugations- but no big potholes. Majority of cars would do it fine. Beautiful drive in that adds to the feeling of getting away from it all, but town is not too far away that we couldn’t run in and get a couple of things we forgot.
