We also offer Caravan and RV sites, unpowered in Off peak times (May - August) For powered sites please book through: Clyde River Caravan and RV Resort. Please note campsites are non powered It's only a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience. The iconic Nelligen Pub only a 10-15 min drive away is a local favourite for hearty meals, pizzas and a great range of tap beers, with takeaway available if you prefer to enjoy dinner back at your campfire. Just nearby, Riverside Café is ideal for fresh coffee, breakfast or a casual lunch in a peaceful riverside setting. The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream. You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper). This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day. No Generators allowed

This route is about an extra 5 minutes longer from highway. At the end of Black Flat Road take a sharp right hand turn onto The River Road. The River Road is fully accessible for all vans but has a few blind corners that may not suit unconfident drivers. Caravans to be self sufficient and dump points are available in Batemans Bay.

Had a wonderful two night stay. Thankyou Ross and Lisa. It was the perfect place to take our one year old pup on its first camping trip. Many more to come. The hot shower and toilet was such a bonus :) The boat ramp and camp kitchen were great!! Easy access, pure serenity without being too far from town. Will be back!

Absolutely beautiful site!!! The kitchen has outlets and good wifi connection with a toaster and kettle provided. The bathroom was incredible clean. The grounds were stunning with great views of the river and it was all incredibly clean and green. Ross and Lisa are both absolutely lovely and the wood they provided was very generous for the price - there are also woodlands around where you can collect sticks and kindling. Couldn’t recommend this site more if you want a peaceful getaway.

What a great caravan and camping site. Great amenities and Ross and Lisa where awesome hosts. Caravan parked alongside the river with fishing rods set in the provided rod holders.. perfect. Even caught some bream. Access roads were in top condition. Will definitely be back here. Thanks for your hospitality Ross and Lisa.

Fantastic spot. Ross was a great host, with fantastic communication. The property is well looked after, the entry was wide and easy to get into. The road in is lovely, we had a 22.6 foot caravan which hubby drove the hairpins and windy roads with ease.

Clyde River camp is a beautiful spot. Nice green campsites right on the edge of the river, each with campfire. There's a nice camp kitchen complete with BBQ and Pizza oven. Hot shower and flushing toilet top it off......and just 20min from Batemans Bay. We'll definitely be booking again.

Ross and Lisa's campground felt like a sanctuary. Plenty of space between campers for privacy and everyone else camping there is lovely . Such a relaxing night away, although we wished we had spent an extra night . Ross was such a gentleman, such warm welcoming and even checked to make sure we were all good and happy with our stay . We had brought our dog for the first time camping too which they were okay with ! He brought us over some firewood for a small fee and it was such good timber ( slow burning ) Thanks guys

The views were beautiful with site being right at the riverside. It was convenient having automatic closing and opening gates, usually we'd have to hop out and do it manually. Being in the middle of winter, the hot showers provided was lovely and toilet was impeccably clean. Across the long weekend, there were 5-6 toilet rolls provided to share with everyone (which was very kind), but it's recommended to bring your own in case this runs out. Campsite location: Ample space on each site lot, able to fit about 4 vehicles at least. Individual firepits in each lot. Turn left if you need sun for solar, the right area is more shady. On our way to the site, it was a narrow and windy dirt road that was shared with the opposite direction. More recommended for 4WD or higher vehicles as there are some potholes but you can still make it in a 2WD ( just will be a little rough on your car). About a 20 min drive to Batemans Bay shopping

Lisa and Ross are absolutely wonderful hosts. Their beautiful property is clearly a labour of love. The land is exceptionally well-maintained, peaceful, and incredibly private, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It offers everything you could hope for; a place where you can truly switch off, unwind, and recharge. Everything feels calm, inviting, and thoughtfully cared for. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed 3 nights camping, was absolutely amazing. I’ve done my fair share of camping around the east coast and this spot is now definitely top of my list. Right on the river, fires for every site and my dog was able to explore the whole property and swim in the river. Fishing is excellent, brim and flathead right off the bank. Definitely will be returning. 5 stars

What a beautiful camping spot! Serene riverside campgrounds, with plenty of space between campsites and fire pits at each. The toilet and washing up area were clean and well appointed. A perfect spot for a night or two of camping and enjoying the riverside.

“The place is great—spacious, private, and the view is beautiful. The area was also clean and well kept. The downside for me was there was only one toilet and one shower room. The amenities were quite basic, and the sink didn’t have a tap. The shower area felt unsafe, as the wooden floor looked like it was falling apart and the tin walls had several holes. It would be great if they invested a little more in upgrading and modernising the amenities.”

Lisa & Ross have a stunning property, it’s perfect for all to stay- families, individuals and groups of friend’s! I was there on a girls trip and my friend could bring her doggies along too. Ross provided us with heaps of firewood for only $15 per night and the communal area/ amenities were all very clean and easy to find. Would highly recommend and will hopefully be back there sometime 🔥🏕️

What a top spot for a relaxed couple of days. Right on the river, beautiful forest and plenty of room to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet with easy access to the river for kayaking and enjoying time on the water.
