If you love camping, fishing & kayaking, you'll love it here! Welcome to our 170 acre property with approx 1 km of Deua River frontage. Lovely grassy campsites by the water. Want to throw a line in? The river is tidal and we are located where the freshwater meets the salt making for some interesting fishing, fresh and saltwater fish have been caught here. We offer peaceful dog-friendly camping. There are no amenities so campers must be self- contained and leave no trace. Campfires are permitted when restrictions aren't in place and firewood available to purchase by the wheelbarrow load (see extras). Good access - tents, camp trailers, campervans & caravans all are welcome as long as you have own toilet. Our farm is home to some beef cattle, horses, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens, & pet guinea pigs . We also have an abundance of wildlife including wombats, possums, kangaroos and many native birds & some reptiles.

From the moment we drove up and were greeted by cows, horses and the snuggles black and white cat extreme relaxation rolled over us. The site was flat and well maintained and the river a beautiful clear delight. We are already going through our diaries to see when we can come back.

3A Riverside. 4 Caravans. 8 in our group. Our second stay at Mungerarie. So we'll maintained. Level sunny site with a shaded area which leads to the River. Perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. The fresh water in the river is pristine. Easy access from camp-site. Sue was supper helpful as always. Plenty of firewood available. Easy directions and access to the property. Great firepit and the old cart made a great table for our bush dinner party. Originally booked for 3 nights, ended up staying 4 and still hard to leave. Can't wait for our next stay. Thanks so much.

Our second time staying here, and still as lovely as we remember. The site was perfect for our larger group with amazing river access. Super close to ammenities in Moruya and accessible for caravans.

Site 4 - Riverfront Campsite
Met by the friendly host Sue, who escorted me down to the site. I had the pick of the place as I was the only one booked in for the 2 nights. Firewood already on site offered to me to use at no cost. Sue told me they lock the cattle out of the camping paddock, but I said to let them graze away, so randomly the cows would come down for a visit. Lovely and peaceful. The weather had recently been a bit warmer and then raining. Sites were firm packed, so no real affect on the ground. Plenty of fish to be seen in the river, which is tidal, but access to the water due to vegetation growth isn’t as easy as some other Hipcamps I’ve stayed at. Telstra phone service was sporadic, so if you need communication/service, then Starlink or an alternative might be best for you. Nonetheless, it’s peaceful, and definitely a bargain if you want a place to stay off-grid for a few days.

Great spor. The river is great for exploring on kayaks and paddle boards. Good fishing too. Close to town, beaches and Mogo MTB trails. I will return again in future.

We were a large group camping in site 3. The site allowed plenty of space for the group to spread out and there was plenty of space offered between sites. Great access to the river and lovely views across the property. Our host Sue was great and kept a supply of firewood for our stay. Highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic spot! Sue Andy were very friendly and great hosts. Plenty of room between camps, felt very private. Tidal great was perfect on the hot days. Kids loved exploring and watching the cows ☺️

My family really enjoyed tent camping at the Farm. It was a lovely location, nice and flat, tons of space for each pitch, not cramped at all. Really enjoyed swiming in the river. Sue the host was also lovely and helpef out with fire wood.

Great flat camping area located next to the river wich is good for fishing and swimming. Sue an family could not be more accommodating and assisting in providing the best site suitable to your requirements Camp sites have plenty on space and provides areas without camping on to each other. Our dog enjoyed the river as well a his interactions with the cattle in the adjoining paddock Highly recommend a visit

It is always a joy staying at Mungerarie. It is total bliss with the river so close by and the total peacefulness and Sue and Andrew are wonderful hosts. This is our third time and hope to make it there many more times.

I would highly recommend Sue and family's awesome little hideaway. It is a tranquil little haven and perfect for that much needed getaway or even a couple of nights just to reset. It was great being beside the river just relaxing but you could definitely swim ( a little chilly on our stay), kayak would be a great option and definitely fishing. Some nice little bass amongst the snags in the deeper sections. All in all highly recommended and will definitely be back. Thank you to Sue and family for sharing such a pretty little gem..

The site we stayed on (and stay on each time we go there) is nice and flat and has good access to the river with a good swimming hole. We can also get kayaks and SUPs down to the river easily.
