Orange Grove was established in 1856 on the banks of the cylde River Nelligen. It is set on 40 acres nestled on the edge of the Village of Nelligen, (15min Walk to its cafe and pub) and 8km west of Batemans Bay (10mindrive). Our camp grounds are set up on the Clyde's banks, all able to support enough area and access for 2wd, 4wd, RV and Car Camper set ups. Orange Grove, has a small basic boat ramp (there are public ramps 2mins down the road). With a beach and pontoon, you are able to leave your boat in the river for the duration of your stay. Batemans Bay is 15min down stream, an easy ride to pick up items not found in Nelligen. Our camp ground has a covered area with BBQ Facilites, tables, chairs, Water, fire pit (used in under the correct conditions), a toilet (Bring own Toilet paper). We are pet friendly, however we do have wildlife on the property and livestock, so we ask that have full control and take responsibility of your pets. We always have a presence on the property and have good Telstra coverage, so although you feel a million miles from nowhere you also feel secure.Setting up on camp 1 overlooking the river with a tent, swag, roof top, RV or Ram with a 20fter is a breeze. We only accept one booking at a time so it is all yours. Hit the sack under the stars with the Clyde running bye and the sound of a crackling fire (fire pit provided). Wake up to stillness and hush of Orange Grove (maybe the bleating of sheep). Early morning dip, wet a line, jump on a ski, take a walk, ride, paddle, run.......your choice!! Toilet facilities 20m

Private and beautiful.

Beautiful Private location on the impressive Clyde river, you have your own jetty, large fenced off area, a massive marquee witch Tryg the host said we can use if weather turned bad, massive fire pit and very helpful hosts, we will be back and bringing friends to enjoy it with

We had such a great stay at Trygs wonderful property!! So close to town yet you feel so secluded. Highly recommended definitely one if our favourite hipcamps we have stayed at.

Perfect spot, awesome host. We kayaked to camp with 23 people and everything was set up perfectly for us. Tryg was so helpful and accommodating. Really made our trip. Wanna go back again.

An Escape you cannot miss out on

Tryg is an amazing host who always checked in on us to make sure we have everything we needed and made us feel very welcome despite some rainy weather. There was plenty of undercover areas where we could camp and have a fire and the land is also absolutely stunning with a nice dock to fish on and jump off into the water! Definitely recommend!
