Absolutely stunning location - beautiful views and the peaceful sound of fish jumping. Had the best time as a base to SUP. Brooke was super responsive, and the wheelbarrow load of wood was generous!! Would absolutely love to stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

Great camping with a gas BBQ and fire pits. Plenty of room and Bede is very accommodating. Right on the highway so very convenient for exploring the area but there is a bit of traffic noise.

WOW WOW WOW, My Husband, myself and our Border Collie spent 2 beautiful nights at Glennbrook Campground our Host Brooke was amazing giving us perfect easy instructions to the camp and when we arrived Brooke and the family was so lovely and friendly, we then were guided to our site and didn't want to leave. Camped right on the river, fabulous fire pit, thought have a bit of fun trying fishing and FISH ON !!! a tad small let her go, also watched a kangaroo swim across the river in front of us. We had a dip in the river which was lovely and refreshing this was 5th May 25. The Property is gorgeous the sites are level and spacious, we got our Hyundi Staria van there no problem. Overall, a very special and magical place to unwind and enjoy, thank you for sharing your beautiful property ....we will see you again soon. 10/10 and more. Amanda

The site was lovely, beautifully presented & Bede was the perfect host. The only downside was the noise from the road, but this did die down after dark. The site is also an ideal location for proximity to Batemans Bay & the surrounding area.

1 night at Glennbrooke River Camp

You will be hard pushed to find a more idyllic and tranquil setting. The camp sites are secluded, spacious, on even grassy ground and right on the river which is teaming with fish, birds and wildlife. Brooke and the family are wonderful, welcoming and attentive hosts. I will certainly coming back. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Rob is an amazing host with a great place to stay. The location is close to Bateman's bay with lots of back roads to explore and activities in the area. There is a great little local pub within walking distance that had a fire and live music and a nice cafe by the river for coffee in the morning. Staying at Norm’s place was nothing short of magical. Set on a beautiful, rolling green hilltop, the farm offers a peaceful retreat with wide-open space perfect for setting up a swag or tent. The highlight? A bath overlooking the hills, with curious cows wandering up to the fence—absolute bliss! Norm and his family were incredibly warm and hospitable, making me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. The setup was incredibly thoughtful, with everything you could need—clean showers, toilets, access to power, water, and even a fridge. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating this special space. I felt so privileged to stay here and be part of such a serene and stunning environment. Thank you, Norm, for sharing your little slice of paradise with the world. I’ll definitely be back.

When you stay at Sunset Point you have lake frontage onto Borang Lake ( 4km from Potato Point), which connects directly with the Tuross lakes. You are able to launch your own tinny at our private jetty. A firepit is provided and you can collect your own wood yourself, or purchase a $25 a wheel barrow load with your booking. Wildlife is plentiful here, so please respect the environment and clean up after your self. There are some amazing local beaches only minutes to Potato Point or down the back track 10 minute drive or, ride your pushie or walk (its a bit of a walk) - straight to Blackfellows Point at Potato Point. There are lovely walking tracks around the property and lots of fishing, kayaking, SUP or pop your Tinnie in and fish till sunset or just plain lazy days. Watch the sunrise or walk to the other side of the property and watch the sunset. Watching the moon rise on the lake is quite beautiful. Launch your tinny and go fishing or simply kayak or lazy around. The site is dog friendly, but your pet must be well behaved and not aggressive as there may be other campers and pets on the property during your stay and a Sunset Point Camp Cat. You may not be right next to each other but please respect other guests, with noise. Just 10 minutes from the charming village of Bodalla, which was founded on the back of dairy farming and cheese production back in the 1860s. 30 minutes drive either way to the hubs of Narooma and Moruya. No barking dogs and no loud music or parties. This is a peaceful getaway. Short car trip to famous beaches where you leave nothing but footprints. It's our secret!

I offer a safe environment to rest for the night or stay for a few and enjoy all that the local area has to offer. Located off the highway, some road noise may be heard. Only 10 minutes from amazing beach fishing at Durras and beautiful Long Beach known for its kayaking and paddle boarding. There is so much to see and do. Climb Pigeon House Mountain or cruise on the Merinda up the Nelligen River over a seafood lunch...you will not be disappointed. Upon arrival, you will be able to choose a spot on the property that you wish to set up. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and take all waste when they go. Strictly no 'digging a hole.' When booking please note that one site is big enough for your van or tent, the extras button is for extra guest/children in your tent or van. If you have guests with another tent or van and vehicle they need to book their own site The pubs and clubs are a near convenience, or you can just kick back by your own pit fire and enjoy the stars in the safety of The Hundred Acre Woods. Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. 376 hectare operating dairy farm next to Biamanga National Park with access via secret 4WD track to the mountain and 22km to Brogo Dam for bass fishing. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach. The property has eucalyptus forest, rainforest gullies, fresh mountain water and abundant wildlife include bellbirds and lyrebirds. The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views. in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Maybe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. Let us know in your booking if you'd like us to arrange to have purchased firewood on site for when you arrive.

This 3000 acre property is located close to Nimmitabel and not too far from Cooma. Try your hand at trout fishing and enjoy endless tracks for bushwalking and observing the native wildlife. Wander along the river banks just enjoying the serenity of the location and witness platypus feeding, water dragons sunning themselves and the brown trout fly feeding and one of Australia's beautiful but lesser known native rodents, Rakali (intelligent semi aquatic water rat who's scientific name translates to golden -bellied water mouse). One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP . There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking. You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing. Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp. Kids aged 16 and under camp for free. There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats. Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create. We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline. There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel, or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away. Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area. I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.

On the shores of the Wagonga Inlet, hemmed in by gleaming lagoons and surf beaches, you’ll never be far from the water in this South Coast beach town. Head to Narooma Beach to surf with views of the Glasshouse Rocks, go snorkelling and scuba diving, or cruise to Montague Island to spot seals, little penguins, and migrating whales. There’s plenty of fun to be had on dry land, too, whether teeing off at the coastal golf course, tucking into fresh oysters at a seafood restaurant, or hiking in Bodalla State Forest.
