Wow what a great weekend away. Rob was the perfect host. Communication was great before arrival. Very helpful during our stay. Property was very well maintained. Tucked away in a scenic location but only minutes away from the Pub and great little Cafe on waterside. Lots of mountain bike tracks close by. Lucky to have the monthly markets on while there. So much history in the area. We had a great time and already planning our next stay.

A fantastic few days at Rob’s spot in Nelligen. Large flat camp spot with thick green grass. Heaps of space for camping, kicking a footy and doing cartwheels. Excellent fire pit too! Rob is a thoroughly decent bloke who keeps an eye on things whilst giving campers plenty of privacy. Proximity to the pub was a plus and it was great to hear the live music from camp. Nelligen is perfectly positioned to explore river, coast or surrounding forests. Thoroughly recommended!

Peppers Farmstay What an incredible location! 🌿🐄 1000% recommended! For day one of our trip, we stopped at this amazing farm stay in NSW, just out of Tathra and wow, it did not disappoint! Not only were the views absolutely stunning, but the property itself had so much to offer. From the friendliest cows you’ll ever meet to their very own river with a boat ramp, it’s a little slice of paradise. There’s plenty of open space for the kids (and adults!) to run around and, yes, it’s dog-friendly too! our fur babies were in heaven! 🐶For the kids:One of the highlights was the farm animal feeding. My daughter had the biggest smile on her face as she fed the animals! definitely a core memory made! 🥰If the weather had been on our side, we would have spent the evening by the cozy fireplaces located at every site, but the rain had other plans. Even so, it didn’t take away from the experience one bit.If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery, space to breathe, and plenty to keep the kids (and dogs!) entertained, I cannot recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Large beautifully open green mown grassy campsite close to top of a hill. Views in all directions. A few houses are nearby but are all screened by green plantings, so feels very private. Well chosen trees are colourful in autumn or flowering and add to the picturesque landscape. Close to the pub and town but we didn’t notice any noise.

Rob is an amazing host with a great place to stay. The location is close to Bateman's bay with lots of back roads to explore and activities in the area. There is a great little local pub within walking distance that had a fire and live music and a nice cafe by the river for coffee in the morning. Roanna and Ben's property was a fabulous short stay. The kids loved being able to pet and groom the horses and see the cows and goats. The property itself was beautiful with a short walk to the river which was very peaceful and scenic. Tathra beach was also a great stop which was less than a 10min drive. The site had good toilet facilities and easily accessible tap water to use. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Great location for a coastal visit to Tathra and nearby, stayed for 3 nights. Camp sites along a ridge with fire pits (byo wood but plenty of sticks to collect as starters) spaced about 20mtrs from each other with easy drive in access. For those who need it, there a couple of clean porta-loos, bins for rubbish and recycling, and town water is available near the sites which are bonuses. Good communication with Roanna and Ben. There is a walk down to the river, but we didn’t make it with the weather - next time.

The view was no short of spectacular. Surrounded by absolute serentity in a very well groomed camping area, so private that we only had 2 friendly neighbours. We were greeted on arrival, given advice and purchased some declicous farm fresh eggs and firewood. Every detail was thought of, illuminated water taps at night, clean toilet and fire pit ready to go. I couldn't recommend this place more highly, it was the perfect get away for 3 adults and 2 kids. Close to town and any supplies you might need. The friendliest Hip camp hosts ever :)

Please note campsites are non powered It is a 10 min drive from Nelligen town centre and a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience. The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream. You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper). This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast.
