Tinpot Farm is about 90 acres with about an acre and half of camping space on river frontage. Campers are required to be fully self sufficient with their own facilities for cooking and showers and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. There is a communal toilet for the campground. Campers can enjoy water activities in the Tuross River (fresh water) such as fishing, swimming and kayaking. Camp fires are allowed. Absolutely beautiful farm and camp site! The Camp by the Dam site was private, peaceful, scenic and sheltered from the wind, with views over the dam. We experienced a lot of wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, frogs, horses and heaps bird life). We spotted kookaburras, nectar eaters and two different kinds of Kingfisher birds (if you enjoy birdwatching, I recommend taking binoculars!). It was the perfect spot for our dog to be primarily off lead and she absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to run and play. We had the entire farm to ourselves for our three night stay, and even if other campers had been on site, it still would have been very private. Waking up to bird song was absolutely delightful. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were great to have access to, within a short distance walk. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and washing up facilities, dining table, air conditioning and power points to recharge our power bank for our phones. There were plenty of communal areas which would be perfect for group events (large outdoor dining area/table and chairs, fire pit, beautifully landscaped spaces, events building with large kitchen, dining and lounge area). There were recycling and general rubbish bins, and toilet paper was provided. We ordered a wheelbarrow of wood for our three night stay which was more than enough for our time there and was ready on site for our arrival. We can't wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!

28 nights at Merimbula Camping

I had a wonderful stay at Merimbula Camping. The bush scenery was lovely and the wombats were hilarious and cute. They liked my caravan and used it as a backscratcher at various times in the night. I then put solar lights around so they mostly stayed away. I loved seeing them in the paddock each night - gentle and quiet. There are many other spacious and beautiful sites with drum fireplaces. The toilets were fine. Hot showers available up at the house. Excellent location just out of town . Water available (bring jerries) on site but you can also get it near town on the Bega Rd out. Dump point available in Pambula a few kms away. Great camping - I’ll be back Meredith !

We had an incredible stay at this remote private campsite. The journey in requires a 4x4, but that only adds to the sense of adventure — and the reward at the end is absolutely worth it. The property is stunning, and the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing firewood and a great fire pit setup that made our nights around the fire really special. The campsite itself sits in a peaceful meadow bordered by a small creek, and it honestly feels like your own piece of wilderness. The creek is something truly special — crystal-clear water with beautiful swimming holes that are perfect for cooling off or just relaxing and taking in the scenery. It was one of the highlights of our stay. If you’re looking for privacy, natural beauty, and a host who genuinely cares about your experience, this place is unbeatable. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to come back.

Weekend Trip to Mogo Creek Homestead - Mogo MTB

We loved staying at Darcy’s, we specifically stayed at site 1. The land was so clean and you can tell it’s being taken care of by amazing people. There’s baby trees everywhere and what caught my eye was the big willow tree, It was beautiful! We also saw the Emu and Buffalo’s next to our site. The toilet was really clean, cleaner than most campsites we’ve been to and does not smell at all. It was raining when we went so we couldn’t check the creek, we definitely will next time. Darcy was very welcoming and kind. It was our first camping with our 10 month old after a year of break. The stay brought us back why we started camping and travelling in the first place.

My friends and I (and our two dogs) had the best weekend camping at Clyde River at Ross and Lisa's property. The camping sites are very well kept, the areas nice and tidy, the space between campers is great too. Sites are flat so easy and suitable for setting up swags and tents. The toilet and shower facilities are very well clean and everything was provided. The location is perfect, we were able to get the boats in and out easily with the boat ramp on site. Highly recommend and we cant wait to come back!

It was a stunning location. It had one of the clearest rivers I have ever seen. We felt completely secluded in our own private oasis. The kids loved waking up to the sound of the cows mooing on our doorstep. There was plenty of wildlife to view and plenty of space to explore. Anthony gave great direction and also met us at the gate to guide us to the camp-site. He was a great host and even provided plenty of fire wood.
