Autumn camping here is a must! Quiet, secluded and so peaceful. Early morning mist that evaporates by 8am, sunny and protected from winds. The cloudless nights are stunning for stargazing, surprised it wasn't freezing, never rugged up for the 10 nights we were here, who would've thought it would be t-shirt and shorts weather this time of year?! The dirt rocky road in and out was slow going for "Sherbie Wonka" our 1999 Mitsubishi express van, though it is still do able but not on wet days hence why we needed to leave earlier than planned with the forecasted heavy rains about to arrive. Defs a 4wd vehicle needed. The charming drop toilet is well appreciated and very cute! Loved everything about this place, it was just what we needed! Thankyou Kristina for the farm eggs (never seen eggs to be so huge and the tastiest ever.) The longer we stayed the more wildlife emerged unbothered by our presence. Enjoyed the lyrebirds morning songs! This place is perfection 👌

Tinpot farm delivered what we were looking for- escape from the noise of the suburbs, the constant traffic, barking dogs, screaming kids, crowds of people and flocking of tourists (we endure all those noises 24/7 surrounding our home and our workplace) so what a joy it was to camp here with the stillness, solitude and calm, so peaceful! We prefered the alternative- lyrebirds, ducks, finches, wrens, crows, currawongs, horses, the rippling of the Tuross river, occasional scent of mint on the breezes and the clear starry nights. We had perfect warm weather for this time of year and all the sites are sheltered from the wind. No mozzies and hardly any flies!
FYI the road is long dirt & rocky much suited for 4wd but in our 1999 Mitsubishi express we took it slow and steady (its do-able in 2wd when dry) we stayed 10 nights and planned to stay longer but due to oncoming 2 days of heavy rain we reluctantly left early. I must add the drop toilet is really cute (best view from the loo) with its floor of river rocks it is clean, well maintained and is situated up on the top tier of the campground within a short walk from your site. It was supposed to be the cooler part of the year hence why we were the only ones here but this place is worth the distance. Thank you Kristina for sharing your lovely farm and providing us our cure 🥰 also your directions were easy to follow.

Tinpot Farm is fabulous for completely switching off and laying back reading a book or floating in the river!! The toilet was super clean and the area for camping was excellent! We thought this was our favourite spot of our holiday.
We went down in our 15ft hybrid and the road is like a fire trail, steep in sections, so be aware of the road conditions before making decisions. It took us over an hour from the highway, so once you are there you are not really going exploring.. not that this was a problem for us! I would not go here in a 2WD.

A lovely peaceful spot, tucked away and full of that real bush camping feel. The kids had a great time exploring the river and we all enjoyed slowing down and just being out in nature.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tinpot and the kids have announced it as "their best camp ever". Lovely shaded spots, great river for amazing adventures on kayak and friendly hosts. We will definitely return for a calm getaway and we look forward to see how this secluded pocket of serenity develops - in terms of amenities. Thank you, Kristina.

A great drive into a farm with great river frontage access. It is clear the owners are investing significantly in developing the farm and the camp sites and it will develop into something special. This is a very good stay for those wanting a few days by a riverside, particular for families with children. It isn’t ideal for couples looking for seclusion but ideal for families wanting to enjoy nature and beautiful landscape.

This was our second time staying at Tinpot Farm, and we came back again with friends — they loved it too. It’s a really peaceful and scenic spot, perfect for switching off and enjoying nature. The surroundings are beautiful, the space is quiet and well maintained, and it’s a great place for a relaxed getaway.

I love the place. Just quite far and confusing for the route. Is that possible to make a sign “tinpot farm” in each way to? Recommended, i suggest to stay 3nights, have plenty of food and relax with the water 😍. I couldn’t find any fish, as the water too shallow 😊😊very clear water and love it

Great campsite. There's a clean toilet on-site, and it's located right next to a beautiful river—perfect for fishing and swimming. The instructions to get there were very, very clear, which made the trip smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway and quality time by the water.

Beautiful private camping spot and peaceful riverbank.
We followed apple maps initially and realised that we probably should have followed the directions that the owner gave us instead, apple maps tried to send us down a road which looked like it hadn’t been driven down in years!
There’s also no service so plan the trip before hand and follow the owners directions don’t rely on apple maps 🤣 everything was lovely once we got to property and had a very relaxing time!

What a fabulous property. We were the only ones there and the kids had a great time exploring and throwing the rocks into the creek. We are fairly green, but glad the weather was dry, otherwise it could have been a bit sketchy getting in and out with a big van. Host provided great instructions and was really helpful. Would stay again!

Loved Tinpot Farm. Such a beautiful spot on the Tuross River this is a favourite of ours with access to the river for a paddle or a quick dip to cool off. Having access to a toilet was a must also. Kristina made us feel welcome and the directions to the property were easy to follow and provided a very scenic drive to the property.

I didn’t get to stay due to an error I made with a double booking. I will return another time. Host’s directions and communication were great. Allow one hour from Bodalla turn off (note for next time!).

Great escape to nature!! Camping on the river frontage was great, water was crystal clear for swimming. Being able to having a camp fire at night was a bonus. Nice to have limited campers with space between. Only a couple of dead flat spots if tenting. Definitely recommend 4WD and off road campers, access roads are fire trail quality, would be slippery if raining or wet.

A very secluded spot on the riverside for a quiet and beautiful stay. You can choose if you put your camp on the grass or on the stoney riverbank. There is a clean drop toilet with an amazing view. And the river is wonderful for bathing, swimming, fishing, etc.

Would recommend. Beautiful spot right on the river. Directions provided by the host were spot on. Very clean drop loo with a view. One other couple was there one night but there is plenty of space so privacy was not a problem. Not sure how a 2WD/AWD would go accessing the site, I wouldn't recommend anything other than a 4wd.

We had a great time at Tinpot Farm. The views by the river are stunning, it was so peaceful. Perfect to relax and unwind. Robert the caretaker was very friendly. We learnt a lot about the farms history and the land.
Access to the farm is via 4x4 tracks, we did get a little lost as we followed the sat nav and not the directions provided.
