We absolutely loved staying at Elysha’s campsite. We had such a great time camping, enjoying a barbecue, and just unwinding. My dog loved it too! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend it.

Nice and level. A fair bit of room where we were but crowded closer to the river. Boys got fish. Drop toilets are drop toilets, better than nothing. Handy to Port Macquarie, where we come from.

Advertised as non allocated sites, rubbish, we were told by the operators on arrival where we could go and where we couldn't. 2 prime spots available, empty on the riverbank but he said they were taken by a group booking of 4. I said that there is no reserving or allocated sites, first in best dressed and his response was they booked 1 mth ago and mine was so did I and you can't reserve a spot as the whole area is unallocated. He just pointed up to the corner and we just went up there to end the confrontation.
Went up there and got out to look where to back up and consider the ground and trees above and 1 of the group of 4, the only one there yey, immediately comes up and says we have a group of 4 coming and we need the area from the riverbank to where you are.
I'll leave my rant there, not a good start but the stay was ok.
Unallocated sites to all except if you know someone or want to pay up I guess.
Don't falsely advertise Minimbah Camping.

We had a group of 8 mates with an area set up for us with an awesome fire pit placed in the center for us
Great boat ramp and plenty of fish in the river
Definitely will be booking another trip 👍🎣🍻

We loved the camp . Very peaceful . Access to river for fishing and swimming . We got some hints and tips about fishing . There a a boat ramp at the camp ground . We will be back

Great spot for fisherman and family. Nice level spots for caravans and can leave the boat in water, right near camp.

Very Friendly host. Nice quiet spot with direct river frontage. Boat ramp and small jetty for those with boats or canoes. Does have a small sandy shore where you can swim. Lots of birdlife for peaceful ambiance. Plenty of grassed flat sites for self contained. There is a long drop toilet if required. Fires allowed if you have your own off ground firepit but also had a communal one set up as well. Had a relaxing long weekend.

Absolutely beautiful spot. An added bonus to have the campgrounds to ourselves. Will definitely stay again when we’re in the area next time.

This hidden little gem is definitely a place we look forward to coming back to. For us, it was a last minute decision after we decided to pull up stumps at our other camping spot so we had no idea what to expect. Nice flat area for our caravan and it was dog friendly! My only disappointment was that we didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the fishing opportunities.

Our new favourite. Such a beautiful spot and loved the variety of swimming and fishing at camp or heading to the Forster sand islands only 15 minutes away via boat.
Loved how roomy the campground felt and the communal fire pit encourages campers to socialise and meet each other. The booking team were fantastic with having to reschedule / book extra days. Highly recommend

the boat ramp was fantastic bin provided fire and animals on lead. a portable toilet cubicle would be great for long weekends and nyes definatly go back again, even rescued the sheep that had escaped the fencline the mum was calling it so mrs said open the gate n round it in hahahah

A beautiful quiet spot next to the river. Clear instructions on how to find the site and great communication from the hosts who accepted our stay late on in the day! Would really really recommend.

Everything was perfect. The swim, the place, the people, the campfire and the next morning with dolphins swimming in the river. A life long memories of this place. Will surely come back again.
