200 acres of scenic farm paddocks with seasonal creek, and forested hills adjoining the Bournda National Park. See kangaroos, wallabies and wombats and if you are lucky an echidna or deer! Horses also live here and are separate from the camping area. We accept only a small number of campers to ensure everyone has a few acres each and peace and quiet to enjoy the natural surroundings. Sites are generally more secluded as go from 1 to 10. All sites are walking distance to a composting toilet. Showers are near the entry to the camping areas of the farm, behind the green water tank. Good phone reception everywhere. Dogs welcome. They can go off leash if supervised during the day. No loud music. No loud parties. No motorbikes. No generators. Please keep noise to a minimum. 5 mins drive to Bournda NP and Lagoon/Island/Beach, more beaches, Tura Beach Woolworths, petrol station. 10 mins drive to Merimbula, Magic Mountain and Tathra. Firepits provided. Firewood; We can bring you a pile of firewood once you are set-up, $30. Or if you BYO chainsaw we can let you know where to cut wood.

Overall, the price does not reflect the experience provided. It is way too expensive for what we experienced. While the listing mentions a “seasonal creek,” there was no water present at all, and the overgrown creek bed suggests it has been dry for quite some time. This should be made clearer in the description, or reflected in the pricing. The site was very crowded, with nine different vehicles and groups sharing a small area, which meant little to no privacy and no shade. On a positive note, the eco toilets and showers were clean and well maintained.

Meredith and her sons are great hosts - super kind and welcoming. There is heaps of space and the walks around the campground are peaceful and beautiful. This is our second time camping here, we love it. Also, only a short drive from Merimbula, one of the best places i've ever visited, a gem of a place to holiday!

A big, well organised site that feels secure. The compostable toilets are excellent. We were greeted and directed to a specific area with other campers like us. So a good place to find your tribe.

Had an amazing stay at #10 secluded corner site, it was super peaceful, surrounded by so many beautiful and other wildlife. Heard and spotted various owls, birds of prey and many other species. Roos and wombats are plentiful. Merimbula camping has so many different sites with their own unique views. Composting toilets were great. Meredith and Chris were great hosts, super friendly and there for anything we needed. Other campers were respectful and we felt like we had the whole far end of the property to ourselves. Potable water and showers are available and as the other reviewers stated yrs only 10 minutes from Merimbula, beaches and shops are close by. You can stay right on the beach, with hundreds of other visitors, or you could take a short drive to Merimbula camping for a peaceful retreat. I know which one I’d prefer.

Great spot. Stayed in our caravan on site 8. Lots of space for the dogs. Appreciated the showers and toilets. Short drive to shops and beach. Beautiful quiet spot at night... Enjoyed the birds and wildlife... Said hi to the Wombat and a group of tawny frogmouths.

Stunning! I camped at Camp 2, above the creek bed- it was beautiful, quiet and very close to Merimbula/ Pambula beaches. Toilets were functional and clean, showers also- highly recommend

Merimbula Camping 6. Wombat Way
We had a great experience! Site 6 (Wombat Way) is beautiful and as the name suggests, we saw plenty of wombats. There was another camper nearby in the same paddock but we enjoyed plenty of quiet and privacy. We didn’t use the showers but the drop toilet was clean and the potable water was plentiful. 100% would return.

The site had nice green grass and fire pits, however not very flat or as secluded as you'd expect for the price. Cost us $90 for 2 adults with a swag for one night, a drop toilet and showers that were not easily accessible from the campsite. Not great value for money, feeling a bit ripped off. Would have been cheaper to stay in the holiday park with full amenities and facilities.

Amazing camping site! It was so well organised and thought-out in all regards. We were greeted and directed where to go when checking in. Hot showers (!!!), firewood available on order, fresh potable water. Plenty of space on the grounds and between campsites. It was great seeing the horses and kangaroos grazing in the fields. Possibly the best camping toilet (non flushable) we have seen

Overall loved it, lots of wildlife. Recommend for other campers to book past site 4 for more space. We were at site 2 and had another motorhome pretty much on top of us plus about 4 other sides by the creek.

I stayed for a week with my little dog and had a lovely relaxing time. It was so peaceful at Meredith’s camp. The team made sure any questions were answered promptly and the toilets and showered were well maintained throughout my stay. Clear instructions on how to find the place and where things could be found. Great location just 15 mins or so from Merimbula. Top marks and would def stay again. Thank you Meredith ;)

Very well run and well organised camp. It was busy in the lead up to New Years but the area was peaceful and nearby campers were very friendly and respectful. Toilet was very convenient to the camping area we camped it. Would recommend and will come back again
