There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Amplified music is not allowed. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields. Pyrenees Wine region is a short drive away.

Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Perfect for star gazing the Milky Way and Nebulas. During fungi season, there are so many varieties to be found. Small playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and sandpit. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm - Except January The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. My partner and I only stayed for one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts have truly thought of everything, making our stay incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The homemade bread was an extra special bonus and the perfect finishing touch. We absolutely loved our stay!

We had such an amazing stay at Kim & Glen’s property. It’s been a long time since we’ve come home from a camping trip feeling this rested! The sites are incredibly spacious and, being so well separated from the other campers, you really get that feeling of having your own little piece of the property. It was exactly what we were looking for. We especially loved being able to settle in, slow down and enjoy the space without feeling crowded. Sitting around the campfire at night was a real highlight as was waking up to the sound of the creek. Kim & Glen have created a beautiful, peaceful and dog-friendly campsite (off lead dog run included), and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape with their family and dogs.

We stayed at the crocketts campsite. Campsite was amazing. Amazing views. Host is Top tier, coudnt have asked for a better host. Kids had fun with the animals. Amenities are more than what others offer and all the little details make the experience much more fun. It was such a vibe and we loved it. The little store was also very convenient for some things you might need. Amenities are very well maintained. Definitely keeping this on my favourites.

Fantastic campsite for a group of friends looking to have some quality outdoor time playing volleyball, cooking good food and chilling. Found a spot near the shower and toilet block which was handy. Toilets and showers were quite clean, until 2 days in when kids seemed to be trashing the place with toilet tissue and litter. Loved that they had 2 large sinks near the toilet block which made washing dishes super easy. Plenty of safe drinking water across all the taps. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts who allowed us to bring our elderly cat even though they dont normally allow pets. It’s just a shame there are some inconsiderate guests who are hoons and do laps at 3am or hard bass on their speakers late into the night.

What an unexpected delight. We stayed at the big tree site for 2 nights with our 2 kids (8 & 5). So much for the kids to do and explore. If you've got smaller kids and worry about water access, there's plenty of fencing. Heaps of room for a camper trailer, we also had a pop up 4x4 tent. You can just see the river from where we were camping, but the sound was excellent. Plenty of fishing spots, and the alpacas were so cute. We explored the bush, fished, dug for worms, flew a kite, played a few ball games. Would recommend heading to the local waterfall and the local pub too. Trent was lovely and even played guitar in the evening, which was a nice touch. No reception, but it was great to switch off and be device free for a bit.

Really great set up! All camp sites well spaced out along the river, with fire places and plenty of room to spread out or travel with a group. Some sites are flatter than others. Trent was a great host, very friendly and relaxed, and even brought his guitar up and we had a ball singing along around the camp fire! We were self contained but toilet facilities are good if needed. The dogs had fun and we didn't need to keep them on lead which was great. Very little phone service which might bother some people but we enjoyed the serenity! The last few km's in a hilly and windy but still manageable with the caravan. Close to the Thorpdale pub if you want to grab a meal. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the camp site , easy to find, easy access. Camp area is well shade and a beautiful river, clean toilets. Lots of fire wood to resource, we stay in site 4 only down fall would be is the grass wasn't cut to the bank and was a concern for the kids as you couldn't see the edge. Besides that I would recommend this camp site.

Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road west of Melbourne is one of the world's great scenic road trips, but there’s much more to see and do than snapping a selfie at the Twelve Apostles rock stacks. Gippsland and the Bays

Gippsland stretches east of Melbourne to the sea and north to the border with NSW. The Victorian Alps
