Fairly basic site, very friendly hosts, but no shade so be aware of that. Basic facilities but does the trick for a night.

The spot was very quiet and we appreciated the electric hookup on a hot day. The hosts were friendly.

Quiet piece of land with great neighbors! Bathroom and laundry was great! Little shade but we made it work under the tree. Only thing, there are scorpions in the area, so be mindful when setting up and taking down tents and chairs.

What went well, was the people are friendly there. It's very peaceful with so many birds and there's horses right there. Other animals you can hear chickens and roosters and cows and maybe sheep?
They have a bathroom with tub and shower. Not fancy but it does the job. They had washer and dryer I didn't use them but I think they're free with staying. So that's cool.
No fire that was sad that you couldn't do a campfire but yeah it was nice!
Plus they told me I can come stay again tonight after the concert for complimentary. So that's pretty fantastic.

Full hook-up near San Antonio

Mark's land was a really nice place to stay with a full hook-up not too far from San Antonio. It was quiet, peaceful and convenient. We didn't get to meet Mark but there was a lovely family living on the property and they were very welcoming and helped us get everything set up. Would definitely recommend!

Very friendly host. We’re we’re the only tent campers but they had room for plenty. Bathroom was clean.

We got there late night and set up our tent. Heard dogs barking all night , coyotes howling , crickets chirping, roosters before dawn, and tons of birds flying together chirping. I liked hearing all the animal noises. Woke up to some horses outside my tent. It feels great for me to be in a place full of life! In the AM I had some trouble locating the restrooms, but when I finally found them, they didn’t seem to be well maintained or clean, so I chose to do my business elsewhere. It was a good experience for what I needed for a few hours of rest on a cross country road trip.

Great campsite, super friendly hosts and people!!! I was worried about going camping my first time but I felt so safe! Super happy to have found this spot. Bathroom and laundry room available is such a great bonus. Overall an awesome experience!

Mark is a really nice host. We’ve stayed at his place for a week now. It’s a quiet , spacious spot. I’d say this place is a hidden gem.

Quiet and peaceful. Mark was very nice and greeted me on arrival. A septic system had just been installed although I didn't use it. 15amp service and water were available if needed. Close to San Antonio and New Braunfels.

This place was wonderful. 15 amp power and water were waiting for us at the fence line. Nice open field in the country. Good star gazing. Definitely come in from the south on Ulrich road to avoid the ravine with the very steep grade and skinny bridge. Mark was great!

Beautiful quiet country setting just 30 minutes from downtown San Antonio. Host was very accommodating and responsive. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Animal, kid, and generator friendly

Great rates and a nice lot. It was really quiet and we had zero in person contact with Covid restriction sensitivity. It was a little difficult to find at first, since it’s a bit in the middle of no where, but that’s what we loved! We have kids and there were no complaints from their noise or playing. No one else was there. With a generator it was all we needed with water hook up. We found somewhere else to throw our trash (gas station in smaller bags, etc). And it was the perfect launching point for an exploration of San Antonio. We have a St. Bernard, Mini Poodle and cat and they had no issues with them at all. Great contact through text with great response time.
