Plant Lovers Paradise with natural wooded surroundings, a greenhouse to explore and several gardens. Bohemian glamping in Bastrop County with an 8' Cowboy Soaking Tub behind a wall of plants with lots of shade! The ArtV is fenced in for extra privacy with a bench, fire ring, hammock, cafe table and chairs, Weber grill in the cozy, shady yard. Complimentary charcuterie board provided for you. This is a small mom and pop company, not a big cooperation. Also offering a one on one crash course inside the greenhouse covering tropical plant care for an additional $25 per hour. There are often great bird, frogs and lizard watching opportunities! We have Starlink Internet, 50 amp electric car charger and a comp charcuterie board! Quiet, wooded, rural setting near Bastrop, Elgin, Smithville, the Colorado River, a distillery, dining, a wine bar, 2 State Parks and a winery in McDade! The ArtV has sustainable bamboo hardwoods, carpet in bedroom and repurposed marble flooring in bathroom. Runs exclusive on all electric power, and the well water is double filtered and run through a water softener as well. A tank-less water heater keeps the hot water coming. There is one bedroom with a double platform mattress, goose feather comforter, mood lighting and carpeting. Kitchen features granite workspace and backsplash along with toaster oven, microwave and double burner stove top. Also equipped with generous under counter lighting, coffee maker, dorm size 'frige, food chopper, airfryer and lots of other kitchen basics. Morning set up provided with coffee, sugar and a variety of teas. Rural setting with gated circle drive on very wooded private grounds. Completely fenced in, 2-acre park like setting with access to gardens and greenhouse. Original whimsical mural paint job on entire exterior, which you are encouraged to add to. Two friendly dogs and three aloof cats all live on the property. We have enough pets, so PLEASE do not bring yours. No small humans under the age of 15, just too many liabilities. RV is positioned near the main residence but is very privately situated. Excellent spot for a romantic weekend get way, quite place to read, write, paint, sleep or finish that project. The drive out to the property is very picturesque, 290 more so than 71, with a safe walking area close by. There are actually cows across the road! Lots more interesting than a local generic hotel room for reunions, weddings and other gatherings in Bastrop and surrounding areas. F1 fans that DO NOT want the Austin traffic can take a relaxing drive  and enjoy the country instead!  ***CASA LUNA LLUNA LOCAL PICKS*** Bastrop- BEST PERIOD- Storehouse Market and Eatery Best BBQ- Billy’s  Best Breakfast Tacos-Taqueria 95 Best Coffee- Coffee Dog Best Ethnic- Cedar’s Mediterranean Grill Best Hamburger-Roadhouse (not the chain) Best Steak-Piney Creek Chop House Best Sushi- Kyoto Best Craft- Beer Pub Bastrop Beer Company Best TexMex-Costa Azul Mariscos and Micheladas Elgin- Best Charcoal Grill Chicken- El Pollo Rico Best Wine Bar/Boutique- The Owl Smithville- Best Breakfast- Comfort Cafe Best Pizza- Hunny's Best Casual Taco-Carne Lenta (Amazing Cocktails) Approximate Drive to- Historical Oak Hill "scraped earth" Cemetery     5 minutes Camp Swift National Guard Post                        10 minutes Lake Bastrop North Shore Fishing                     10 minutes Bastrop Convention Center                                 15 minutes Bastrop State Park Swim/Hike                    15 minutes Bastrop Farmers mkt Tuesday/Saturday           15 minutes Star Ranch Nudist Camp                                      15 minutes McDade Watermelon Fest 2nd Sat. in July        15 minutes Lake Bastrop South Shore Fishing                     20 minutes Elgin                                                                        20 minutes Sherwood Forest Faire                                          20 minutes Smithville                                                                25 minutes Bear Creek Golf 'Casual' Driving Range              25 minute McKinny Roughs Nature Park                             30 minutes F1 Race Track                                                        40 minutes Austin Airport                                                       45 minutes Downtown Austin                                                 55 minutes

The artv is a great mix of whimsical and practical. There is so much to see and do in one small area. In addition to the dogs and cats, we saw toads, birds, a lizard, and even a little scorpion. The dogs were very good about quietly reminding us when it was treat time. We are from KCMO so the plants were mostly new to us and I had fun identifying them. It was a great place to stay over on our way to the Gulf.

unique and fun experience!
I loved the ArtV! The decor was super fun and personal and the bedroom was really cozy with a comfy bed. The soaking tub was a nice treat after hot days and the stars were out on the clearer nights. The location was close enough to Bastrop & Bastrop State Park that we could easily get in and out for activities! Highly recommend. And extremely touched by the welcome charcuterie board!
