We reserved the drive in movie spot but did not watch any movies. Good site, level and dry next to the river. Kyle was nice guy and good host, his partner, Dee, was lovely. Plenty of kayaks (tandem) and paddle boards for guests. The river is very nice, mellow and slow moving. Overall a great site.

Kyle & girlfriend awesome. Property peaceful with beautiful views. Water activity a plus. Owners gave our dog a plushie that he loved, dog had leash freedom. Had a relaxing, peaceful weekend away. We loved our boondocking adventure. Great bonding time for a dog plus two.

Very peaceful and quiet. More of brush cut, unmanicured grassy area. Bring bug spray and ankle boots. Not a spot for flip flops. Fire pit on site. Kyle great with specific directions. Morning sunrise on Orange River very beautiful.

Was me, my husband and our 2.5 year old son staying here and we had a great stay. We payed a little extra to stay close to the river:) it was well worth it. It’s a beautiful spot right next to the water and they had kayaks and a outside movie screen there for you to use. Only negative is that you can hear the traffic at night but not during the day. If you’re a light sleeper like me bring some earplugs.
We will most likely be back.

Great time at Orange River. Kyle is a great host! The property is large and lush. We were 8 adults tent camping. The movie screen is a cool addition.

Nice, level spot in the woods. Easy to find and easy in and out. We used the site as a base camp for some local kayak fishing a few miles away.

Fantastic spot even for a naitive of Ft.Myers. Entrance is very tight. I role in a Forest River Surveyor Legend 25 behind a Toyota Tundra. You will have inches to squeez by when leaving the main road on the left. Miss it and you can easily tip. Once in your gold. Site next to river well worth a few extra bucks. Host was great and respected my privacy.

Shortly after my arrival I met with Kyle, he welcomed me and told me a little’bit about the area / his property.
Property is exactly as noted.
Primitive camping at its best w/Porta potty(which was very clean) and also a garbage can.
Private location-sounds of nature-a peaceful night’s rest.
Solo traveler; I felt safe here.
No problem finding location -Directions sent were precise.
AT&T/5g ; good signal. was able to get some online work completed 👍.
Used this camp as my homebase : Approximately 1.5 hours to Everglade city -so I was able to access / ‘venture to Cypress/Everglades parks, and locally the beaches/ Estero Blvd., manatee park, with a few rainy days was able to check out Calusa Nature Center, Edison & Ford Estates…

I love parking my camper on Kyle's property it was very peaceful except for the fireworks that kind of scared me a little bit because I have a pop up but I mean it was peaceful very they don't bother you nobody else bothers you some of the grass spots were a little high but I kind of understand why because that's how people have their privacy when they're camping on his property and I understand that and he was very respectful very polite I didn't get to go kayaking even though I got one for Christmas I'm a little scared of them I've never been in one and I'm afraid to flip out because the Gators I mean you can't go in any water spot in Florida and they're not me Gators but other than that I enjoyed myself 100%

We had a fantastic time at Kyle’s place. Would highly recommend. Private and tranquil with easy access to the Orange River for kayaking and fishing. With the cooler weather we also took the opportunity to go to Manatee Park only 8 mins away and kayaked with the Manatee’s! Buckingham Farms is close by - a great breakfast or lunch spot. It’s also close to a number of popular hiking trails and Boathouse Tiki which we plan to explore on our next visit.

Nice place to park the van for the night. Some of the pictures showed part of a building so I wasn't sure if I'd be close to a house. It turned out to be an old barn. The spot was private, quiet and dark. Just what I was looking for.

My boyfriend and I loved camping on Kyle's land! Grass was a bit long but it is rainy season. We had PLENTY of room and total privacy. Kyle hooked us up with a fire pit and left us to it. Bugs werent as bad as you would imagine near streams and rivers- did not see one tick! Water hose was available for use and a trail leads to the river to paddle. It was a great 5 days even in the August heat and rain! This was our first hip camp adventure and we had an absolute blast.
