Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape on 14 secluded acres with breathtaking views of both Wolf Lake and Burntside Lake. Public access to Burntside Lake is just a hop up the road from the driveway. Perfect for viewing the Northern Lights from the camper if they are going. FIREWOOD PROVIDED. 2 gallons of gas for the generator provided. 3 night minimumThe Carefree Casita is a cute little studio. For a bathroom there is an outhouse. For showers you have two options - go down to the local campground in town or use our solar camping shower (the water in the bag is heated by the sun). A 5-gallong jug of potable water is provided and more is available upon request. The casita is located up the hill from the main house, so we are on the premise if you need anything, but you will have complete privacy as the hill and trees make you feel like you are alone out there. Please note - there is very limited cell service in the casita. We have Verizon.

Wolf Lake Retreat
Quiet getaway with all you need
The accommodations were exceptional! It’s really a nice spot with places for the kids to explore. We saw a few deer running through the woods and enjoyed the stars at night. There was plenty of firewood and the sleeping was comfortable for a family of 4 and our dog. Thanks Jo and family for sharing your spot with us!
