Belle Creek Bluff is on 28 acres of prime land in Welch. Belle Creek runs through the middle of the property. Walk, swim, paddle, fish and explore the this beautiful spring fed trout stream. There are a number of hiking trails on the property. Bordering state lands to the east of the property provide endless exploration and hiking adventures. Hike to the top of the bluff for a spectacular view of Welch valley and the ski hill. Hiking NE along Belle Creek can you spot the old model A truck along the banks? There are eagles, falcons, finches, and many colorful birds to see.

Lovely Site

What a beautiful spot! Lots of space, right on the creek, and we felt secluded from anyone else staying at the other two sites. Trees provided ample shade for most of the day, and the parking spot for the cars was only like 30yrds from the picnic table. A couple things to note: we didn’t really end up using the kayaks we brought as the bank was made of some deep muck, and the current was quite strong (higher than normal water level). First time for us using a Lugga-Loo and I have to admit we didn’t love it. For clarity, the toilet situation is a bucket with an attached seat, and you’re expected to take your pack out your own waste. We were grateful our friend brought a cover for the Lugga-Loo, would recommend. Otherwise a great spot to take in some nature!

I really loved the place; the tent campsite is so scenic and calm. The road leading there is very enjoyable as well. The hosts are very supportive and replied promptly to any questions we had. As it was my first camping experience, it made it great. The only room for improvement is that it's really hard to find the way and the spot, so just a suggestion to put up some more signboards. However, I really enjoyed my time with my friends there and will plan to visit again soon.

Great camping with water!

JT has a wonderful spot for camping. It's secluded with access to a creek, and isn't all that far from Red Wing. I've stayed here twice now, and will be returning again!

A Hidden Gem

What a treat and adventure was it to cross the creek! Beautiful nightly star gazing by the creek. We thought it was perfect, seclusion was perfect for our reactive dog, he was able to run around free. Probably buying some hip waders for next time. The tide was high after the rain making the departure a workout. Will be definitely renting again in the future! A bonus is town is not far away, 20 minute drive to a the Barrel House which I recommend for an 1886 old fashion. Thank you!
