Welcome to Whippletree! This is our sixth-generation family farm, and while it's more of a hobby farm now, it has been in continuous agricultural production since 1869! Besides tillable farm land, we are stewards of native prairie, small wooded areas, a remnant of an oak savanna and wetlands, with trails throughout. We consider this our sanctuary and enjoying sharing it with others looking for a place of retreat to connect with the natural world. Stop by for a visit!

Walk-in Tent Camping Site
We enjoyed our camping stay at Peter’s farm. It was super well organized, complete with a water setup, firewood, and a cart to transport our things. The only thing it doesn’t have is a shower, but for just $8 at Kwiktrip nearby we were squeaky clean. Great location, super organized, super communicative — we recommend this spot 👍🏼

Farm Stay Cabin & Nature Trail
We loved our stay at Whippletree Farm! We appreciated the amenities and details provided, and especially enjoyed the steel tongue drum in the cabin. It was so peaceful and the weather was perfect. Left us with a great impression of Minnesota in July.

We had a great time staying on Peter's land. Everything was well thought of and Peter sent out a detailed message prior to our stay laying out all we could've wanted to know. Would definitely stay again!

RV & Car Camping Site
What a great spot just on the edge of the Twin Cities. I had to fly out early in the morning and this was a great place to pitch my tent. Beautiful and quiet I would come back here again.

I loved working with Whipple Tree farm! The host was very helpful and made sure everything was running smoothly for our stay . The pastoral scenery was serene and peaceful. Would do it again !
