This was a wonderful campsite. There was plenty of space for us to set up 7 tents (we had several teens who wanted their own room). The owners clearly care for the property. Not only was it great having a port-a-potty right there, they also included hand sanitizer and a natural scented spray to help with unpleasant smells.
There also were niceties of a big picnic table, plus extra tall tables which helped a ton with cooking space. And the 8x8 wooden platform, which allowed us to keep food items off the ground.
I loved the pollinator prairie, and you could tell the butterflies did too as there were several Monarchs and Great Swallowtails floating around. It also made for beautiful mornings, as the sun rose over the misty meadow.
From a sounds perspective, it was very quiet. You rarely heard cars driving by, although we did get to hear the clacking of horse hoofs as local Amish rode by. We also heard a Barred Owl calling our second night, which was scary for the kids at first, but very neat once we realized what it was.
The greenhouse/pergola area was neat, and included some good games/toys for the little ones for entertainment. The kids spent an afternoon there
For the teens, they enjoyed the many hiking trails through woodlands and prairie. It gave them space to get away from the smaller kids, and explore the country side.
The hosts welcomed us when we got there (with delicious eggs and berries), and helped solve a minor wasp issue very quickly.
Highly recommended
