At a pet-friendly campsite, you and your dog can share everything from Great Lakes beaches to state park trails. For inspiration, look no further than Point Beach State Forest, where you can rent a cabin, tent, or RV site. Choose between summer swimming breaks in Lake Michigan; crisp, autumn strolls along sand dunes; and cross-country ski days over groomed trails. For a less active getaway, stay close to Milkwaukee. It's easy to plan a weekend in Devil's Lake State Park. The park not only allows pets but also has a designated dog-friendly beach. Nothing makes memories quite like a camping trip with your best friend, though campgrounds can also accommodate your partner, family, or human friends. The more the merrier.

We are a small bar and grill 12 miles west of Crivitz WI. Conveniently located right on the ATV and Snowmobile trails. There are plenty of lakes and steams for the avid fisherman. We are located just a few miles east of the Nicolet National Forest. We have great food and always a friendly atmosphere. So come on up and join us for a relaxing week or just a weekend.Camp in our nicely furnished tent cabins, Site #1 ( Bri's Hideaway) is furnished with a queen bed, love seat and refrigerator. Site #2 ( Adam's Getaway ) is furnished with a full bed, 1 cot style bunk beds and a refrigerator. We recommend bringing sleeping bags for both sites during the cool weather camping, we furnish some blankets but may not be adequate for the chilly nights in the later season.  We are right on the ATV trails, with many lakes, rivers and trout streams close by. There is whitewater rafting nearby for the trill seekers. Or if you enjoy hiking, the Nichole National Forest is minutes away. You can relax on the front deck of your tent cabin or sit by the campfire. We are a small country bar & grill. We have a great Friday night fish fry, or try our famous chicken dinner, or one of our homemade pizzas, we have wraps, sandwiches and more. We are located 1 hour north of Green Bay, WI. The tent cabins will be open May 1st through October 31st with a shower room available. Bring your own converter if less than 30 amps. Large fire pit (supply your own firewood). Recently refurbished private dock. Four-wheel trails and rental companies nearby. Short drive from the Namekagon River which is great for tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. Due to a recent review, I am also adding here that swimming from our property is not ideal. The lake tends to be weedy during warm summers. There are places to swim nearby, so if you are booking with the sole intent of being able to swim, please be aware that this is likely not the best site for you unless you are willing to drive to a nearby beach.

Hi there! We have 5 yurts spread across our 40 acres with each yurt having lots of individual space and privacy. We hand built our yurts from scratch using wood from our land and local lumber, as well as sewing all the vinyl ourselves. The yurts are almost completely locally sourced, everything was handmade by us, and sustainably sourced. We are really excited to share the land we love with folks from near and far. Your yurt is equipped with a full sized futon, two burner stove kitchen with all cooking appliances and utensils, 2 gallons of fresh drinking water (as well as oil, salt, pep, coffee, and tea all provided), a small dining table with chairs, and an outdoor fire pit. A short 7 min drive from our property is beautiful Little Sand Bay beach. This free, public use National Park beach is gorgeous with views of Sand and York Islands, great swimming spots, $2.00 hot showers, and kayak launch. Important things to note about your yurt site! The access to our property is via a long dirt road, this road is accessible for all vehicles but it is about a 2min drive through the woods to get to the yurt sites. Once you arrive on the property your yurt is a 2-4min (depending on which yurt you choose) hike up a hill from the parking area. I recommend backpacking in your items. Wheely coolers and bags will not enjoy the terrain. The Portapotty is located at the parking area as well. That being said, a little bit of walking will be involved in your stay :) If you love walking you are in luck and can explore the trails on the property!

The lake was beautiful, and even though it's the weather wasn't conducive to swimming, we thoroughly enjoyed reading on the dock. I had the best time staying here with my dog. The area is far enough away from things that it can be deafeningly quiet at night. Had all the supplies I needed just like advertised. All yurts were reserved and I only saw the neighboring folks as they walked to their car. Never heard anyone! Truly a peaceful little spot and you can tell the yurts were made very well. 10/10 coming back and going to have friends rent the other yurts for a fun weekend. I had just enough cell service to make a call in the parking area, and enough to send and receive texts at the yurt.

Great place to stay! All necessities provided (even coffee and tea)! Peaceful, quiet, and tranquil even though other yurts were nearby you’d never know it. There was a cart at the bottom of the hill for toting your supplies, which was incredibly handy. Lots of downed trees nearby for firewood.

Joyce was a lovely host and met us when we arrived. Her camping area was flawless and scenic. She provided very kind small touches and the environment was relaxing. We used her site as a stop over during a longer trip but would certainly recommend for a family just wanting to bond and spend a quiet weekend outside together. We have dogs and had the luxury of letting them frolic off leash because we had the place to our selves. There is a small county highway fully out of sight and you can only slightly hear vehicles.

Weekend Trip to Bear Hill
We had a wonderful time glamping in the Love Shack! The weather was hot, then rainy most of the weekend unfortunately so we didn’t get to spend as much time at the property as we wanted to. It was great to be 15 min from the Dells, so we took advantage of that more than anticipated. The Love Shack has A/C which was amazing. The setting is peaceful, and we loved getting to hang out with the goats - shoutout to George. Sheri and Kevin were fantastic hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and offering help. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great hosts and a bit of country charm, this place is definitely worth considering!

Weekend Trip to Bear Hill
Amazing experience!! Sheri and Kevin were wonderful hosts, they checked in and made sure we had what we needed and answered any questions we had. They have pretty much everything you could think of related to camping activities and necessities. From board games to a fire tripod for cooking to firewood and lawn chairs. Really took the stress out of the experience for us. Their goats are so cute and friendly too! We really enjoyed the little hot tub and how cozy the cabin is. The location is great, it feels very private and secluded but it’s only about 10-15 minutes from the main area of the Dells and a Walmart. Sheri made sure to let us know that they were flexible with check out times, and they were overall very accommodating hosts! Would happily come stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Bear Hill
Man we had a great time! Our trip was slightly different from most of the reviews, we had a fairly packed itinerary family vacation and used bear hill as our home base, we were out and about most of the time and *even* still we loved the hospitality and ended up wishing we had planned down time to hang out. Extremely nice people when we did manage to find some time to talk. They were also wonderful at just giving us our space and making the whole thing feel very private and safe while still being accessible (via phone) if we needed anything. *EVERYTHING* IS PROVIDED, from sheets/comforters, soap, dishes and cookware, to bug spray, hell they even had toys and glow sticks for our kiddo. Honestly we over packed quite a bit as a precaution but genuinely you could bring only clothes and food and be set, they went out of their way to provide all the supplies and conveniences. 15m drive to the dells, and as a bonus you get to turn north on highway 12/I-90alt and immediately leave the traffic behind 🤌 Don't trust Google maps for the address, follow their instructions. Thank you so much Kevin and Sherri, can't wait to see you guys again!

Nested along the Pecatonica River, Pink River Ranch boasts some lovely pink sunsets, quiet nights, chorus frogs chirping and some of the creature comforts you expect, AKA real bathrooms and showers! Our ranch is home to sheep, cattle, goats, chickens, cats and dogs. We're animal lovers and we hope you are too! We have shared restrooms for our guests. This space is jointly used between the guests who stay in our vintage airstream, as well as our tent sites. It features a shower, tub and relief facilities. We also have an outdoor shower if you're feeling adventurous! Potable water is available on-site but must be hauled into your campsite. Campsites are furnished with a small camp grill, fire ring and picnic table. All tent sites are accessible by foot only. We have a parking lot for you to keep your vehicle and wagons for use to get items to your site. Each site is no further than a one to five minute walk. We sell firewood and charcoal for your grilling adventures and these can be reserved ahead of your stay (cash or Venmo only). We also have some camping essentials to rent to lighten your load. We are close to several attractions including New Glarus, Yellowstone Lake State Park, House on the Rock, Cave of the Mounds, Blue Mounds State Park and Mineral Point! Thank you to all who have enjoyed this amazing property and provided a review or rating!!! On the upper Bad River, I have a special location that I'd like to share for others to enjoy. I was fortunate to acquire this land 20 years ago and now that I have retired from the United States Air Force, I can dedicate time to create peaceful campsites along the river. This land was originally railroad property as the railroad companies bought much land in the late 1800's to have options to place their railroads. There is still a railroad track nearby but it has been abandoned since 2015 and it makes a nice hiking path along the river for many miles to the north. There are 3 waterfalls nearby and I will have many signs leading to the waterfalls. There are 4 total campsites on the property, 1 site you can drive to (Eagle Pines), and 3 tent sites that require 1/8 mile hike to 2 sites, and a 1/4 mile hike to the other hike-in site.

cabin is an off-grid, 12'X20' insulated structure, with a 7'X8' loft and a 12'X6' screened covered porch/deck. That overlooks a small stream and a cattail marsh. It is in the center of our 90 acres and is very private but near to some rural houses, only our house is (barely) visible in winter and you might see some lights of one other neighbor when the leaves are off the trees. We are 1 and a half miles from the village of Belleville and 5 miles from New Glarus. The Badger State Trail runs across the western edge of our property. It connects with the Sugar River State Trail 8 miles away. Near by New Glarus has many shops, restaurants, Baily's Run winery and the famous New Glarus Brewery (tours daily). Everything can be easily reached by bike or, in season, snowmobile. The marsh is a haven for all sorts of birds and wildlife. Spring brings an abundance of winged migrators and returning residents. There are: sand hill cranes, red wing blackbirds, a number of ducks; buffleheads, mergansers, woodducks, blue winged teal and shovelers just to name a few. The American woodcock can be heard overhead most spring mornings and evenings. The spring peepers (small frogs) are a symphony on their own and they continue into early summer. The woods has many spring flowers and the fall colors are wonderful. In summer there are many song birds like: bluebirds, finches, orioles, humming birds, cedar wax wings, robins, cardinals and herons. Sitting on the screened in deck one can hear a kaleidoscope of bird songs and activity. And an abundance of fireflies in later May through late July and then some. The cabin is off-grid, what that means is: there is NO RUNNING WATER in the cabin and only a chemical toilet (port-a-potty). A limited amount of water is supplied for drinking and washing. There is a sink with a drain in the cabin but no bathroom or refrigerator so bring a cooler. Very limited electricity. There is basic LED lighting and you will be able to charge your phones/devices. The power is supplied from batteries/inverter charged by solar panels on the roof. There are LED lights and a coffee maker. There is NO air conditioning but excellent ventilation and a small, cozy wood stove for heat. If you're uncomfortable or unfamiliar with a wood stove, it may not be wise to stay here in the winter heating season, but we can show most people how to use the stove safely. This is still considered "camping" so be prepared to bring camping gear: your own pillows, sleeping bag, food, drinks, cups, plates, cooking utensils etc. There are carryout options a short drive away. The only thing you won't need is a tent, the cabin is very cozy, warm on the cold days and cool on the warm ones and there is a picnic table, lawn chairs and a gas grill with a side burner. There are a few spots around the cabin for tents if you have additional friends staying. There is an additional charge for additional guests (over 2) but please be advised: any loud "parties" or disturbances and you will be asked to leave. This is a place to enjoy nature and quiet time. To get away from it all. No extra charge for children 12 or under. Insects are a part of the woods environment, if you're afraid of bugs this may not be the right fit for you. We rarely have any real issues, so we're reluctant to use toxic chemicals to kill most (normal) bugs. Normal bug repellent is about all that is necessary. Why we have this cabin; It's a way to share this special place that, judging from the artifacts found here has been a camping area for thousands of years. We want to let others enjoy the seasons; the return of the migrating birds, the spring peepers in the marsh, the fall colors, the silence of a winter day in the woods and the warmth of a wood stove. (many people have found the stove to be their favorite feature) The cabin gives you a front row seat in the middle of, comparatively, pristine nature. Campers will have access to our fine trails for hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and biking. (we would allow a snowmobile from the State trail to the cabin). All campers take note: 1. Please do your best to arrive/check in before dark! The cabin is dark; no yard lights, no streetlights, and if it isn’t a moonlit night, it IS very dark. Some of you are not used to real darkness. We provide some flashlights and headlamps (if you forgot yours) and there are LED lights in the cabin we keep charged for you. Camping headlamps are great for cooking, using the port-a-potty and finding your way around, etc. Bring yours or you can borrow ours, just ask. 2. Take safety precautions with the wood stove and learn how to use it correctly. The only source of heat in the cabin is a small, very nice wood stove. Those without any experience with using wood for heat are advised not to stay at the cabin during the cold season. Those that are eager to learn--we can help you, but safety is very important and you must at least have some basic skills to handle wood heat: using a propane torch, using kindling, splitting wood, operating the stove airflow. 3. Campfires: Campfire wood can be purchased for a reasonable price @$10 for a tote, or @$20 for a large pot/container. We do allow people to bring their own if they are coming from less that 50 miles away. Some exceptions do apply. 4. It has been very enjoyable meeting the many campers. Everyone has been very well prepared and it has been a pleasure seeing them have fun. We especially have enjoyed the families with young children and people with their dog(s). All have been very well behaved and very enthusiastic. 5 Dogs are welcome, but please let us know if your dog does not get along well with other dogs, so we can let others know. We have a young golden retriever that is very friendly and does very well with other dogs, kids and all people. If your dog doesn't get along with others (dogs or people) please let us know in advance, so we can warn others and please, for safety, keep them on a leash. Your hosts, Dan and Anne

Initially, the Orihula Ballroom featured a large hall with minimal facilities, including two coal furnaces for heat and a makeshift bar crafted from plywood. In 1966, Cliff and Judy, along with their two sons, took the reins and began a significant transformation of the property after purchasing it from Ken and Barb. By the 1970s, the Hahn-a-Lula Resort expanded its offerings by adding mobile homes for lodging and creating a picturesque spring-fed lake complete with a sandy beach. Over the past six decades, the dedication of Cliff, Judy, their family, and a team of committed employees has turned Hahn's into a modern resort.
