We recommend bringing sleeping bags for both sites during the cool weather camping, we furnish some blankets but may not be adequate for the chilly nights in the later season.  We are right on the ATV trails, with many lakes, rivers and trout streams close by. There is whitewater rafting nearby for the trill seekers. Or if you enjoy hiking, the Nichole National Forest is minutes away. You can relax on the front deck of your tent cabin or sit by the campfire. We are a small country bar & grill. We have a great Friday night fish fry, or try our famous chicken dinner, or one of our homemade pizzas, we have wraps, sandwiches and more. We are located 1 hour north of Green Bay, WI. The tent cabins will be open May 1st through October 31st with a shower room available. One of my favorite home away from home’s. This property will help you reground and connect with nature. I have added the necessities of life, while keeping the property as natural as possible. My goal is to share this great experience I’ve created with you and your family. From the outdoor shower to the walking trails that weave through the woods and over Tibbet Creek you will love your stay! A couple of the sites are more remote than others by design. Not all can be driven up to. The furthest would be approximately a 500’ walk. A wagon is available to carry your items to your site. There is a large pond if you would like to fish or swim, and a John boat and a paddle boat to use also. Each site has its own fire pit with a cooking grate. Firewood available for purchase on site. Most sites are set with views of a water feature. Some tents are available to rent if you don’t have your own.

Kathy was amazing! We decided to take a chance and tent camp in late October. The site is very peaceful and she built firewood up for our first fire upon arrival. We left many things behind on the days we traveled to fish or hike with no worries. The river and woods are peaceful. Appreciate the water she leaves to clean hands and cookware! I loved camping here for Labor Day Weekend! If you are camping in Door county this is a good spot. Just make sure you have a thick blanket or camping mat for the ground. There are large mulch pieces. It was very clean, pretty, and a great spot!

If you’re a HipCamper reading this and the listing is still available, book it right now! The tiny house rental exceded my groups expectations in every way. The tiny house itself is nicer inside than expected and thoughtfully built. The hot outdoor shower felt amazing on a cool night after spending the day hiking. The stars on this property are the best I’ve seen in all of Wisconsin, we all saw multiple shooting stars each night. The hosts kept us well stocked with firewood and their farm fresh eggs. Randy and Alnilda are really cool and kind folks. They really cared about how we were doing and enjoying our stay. They made our weekend trip the best it could have been.

We went tent camping here with our 2 dogs and had a great time. Very clean facilities and nice amenities. Plus it's convenient to all the door county activities we had planned. One thing I would say would have made our stay a little better is if there were an additional bathroom on the other side of the site. We stayed in a site that was on the opposite end of the property from the bathrooms and it was kind of annoying having to walk that far if we needed to go in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning when you really gotta go. I think even a port-o-potty would have been good.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp site! It was so close to so many great activities and restaurants! The site was very clean and the startup firewood they left for free was very nice since we didn't get in until late. It was also nice to be able to purchase more on site! The site does sit close to the road, so we were a little concerned about our dogs, but we were able to park to block off some of the view and we didn't have any issues. Lori was super nice to work with and was thankfully close by to help us jump start our vehicle on the last day! lol (never fails) We rented a boat from Popps Marina (super affordable and friendly people) and we ate dinner at Rene's Supper Club. We are already trying to plan a trip back to the area!

Everything went well, I loved it, my Wife loved it and so did my daughter, she had so much fun on the playground, and the facility is immaculate. Clean clean clean. Big bonus, considering i have seen so many showers that were filthy. The owners absolutely care a out the people that come here and stay, that is the exact feeling my wife and I said to eachother. They think of many small and large details! They are still getting better and better and doing what they can to improve the site, what more can you ask for. 10/10 would recommend, in fact, i am going back up next weekend to stay again for a fishing trip with the boys!

Weekend Trip to River View Get Away
My dogs and I had a fantastic stay car camping at this site. I spent most of my time paddleboarding in the river and I would highly recommend this site to folks who enjoy paddle sports. The water was clear with a muddy bottom. Feeding the fish was definitely a highlight! There was plenty of shade and grassy areas for me to exercise my dogs. I had no issues with bugs; not even mosquitoes. I didn't have to wear any bug repellant. There was no grill grate or tripod for cooking so keep that in mind. The site is a bit noisy, you can hear the nearby highway traffic, lawn mowing and train. I came on a Saturday and there were gunshots going off until dark (maybe a shooting range nearby?) But those are things the host can't change. I brought a white noise machine along and that helped a lot. Overall I had a fantastic time at this site and can't wait to come back.

About

Hike to Eagle Bluff to see the historic lighthouse that oversees this part of Green Bay. Bring your binoculars and camera for the most beautiful view in this entire Wisconsin state park. The lighthouse, built in 1868, is pretty cool, too.

Launch your boat and head to Horseshoe Island out in the bay. There, you'll see foundations of buildings from the 1890s. A hiking trail takes you all around the island. The only way to get here is by private boat.

Bike through 5.1 miles of woods thanks to Sunset Bike Trail. The trail is paved and has gravel, which makes it easy to follow. Dangle your feet in the bay after your ride to cool off. Find a secluded spot along the 8 miles of shoreline.

Practice your golf game at the 18-hole golf course. Many golfers consider this course to be the most scenic in Wisconsin. Watch out for the pesky 8th hole. It's just 69 yards, but you have to fire a shot over a bluff and onto the green.

This park is just awesome. The best in Wisconsin. Be careful with long units. Tennison Bay and Weborg are the best for longer units.
