Situated on 36 acres, this working farm is 2 miles West of Taylors Falls. Dan and Danielle bought this property with the intention of growing stone fruits (plums, peaches, apricots and cherries) using sustainable and organic practices because health and wellness matter to them! They are still in the process of improving their property. Many of the building on the property were in poor condition, including the old barn foundation which is now one of Dan and Danielle favorite places to keep cool in the summer. After they had excavated all the debris (which took years) they were able to transform it with gardens and fire pit for all to enjoy. They love sharing what they have been blessed with! They hope you enjoy their place as much as they do! Feel free to ask them to show you around or even get your hands dirty with them as they plant or harvest.

Yurt-Style Tent at Stone Creek
We pulled up to a working house and orchard with green houses and were directed down a sweet path to a private camp site that you could not see from the house, the road, or the other tent site. We used their carts to haul our supplies. We cooked tamales over an open fire and in the morning, I choose to walk to my car and plug in an electric kettle using a cord coming out of their garage (versus hauling my gas stove out to the camp site) for coffee. We hiked the WI side of Interstate Park the next day (10 minute drive) and enjoyed the lovely fall data and colors. Dan was very friendly and hospitable and had fire wood for purchase. The camp site was clean, private, and the platform tent sizable and comfortable. We had a great time.

"Plum" Perfect Campsite on the Farm
We loved camping on Dan's land! The area was really beautiful and our camping area was secluded and quiet. We ended up staying on the "Cherry Bomb" spot. It was a bit of a trek to walk to, but we loved how tucked away it is. If you have kiddos with you, you'd probably want to stay in one of the closer spots. We also loved that there are lots of things to do in the area, and will definitely be back to explore more!

Secluded Yurt-Style Tent
Glamping gem!
Dan and Danielle have cultivated a truly wonderful experience on their farm! They are super friendly, communicative, and welcoming. The property is beautiful-- tons of birds, so bring your binoculars! My partner and I stayed at the secluded yurt spot and could not have had a better time. We had delicious apples for breakfast and the 15 minute bike into town and over to the state parks was gorgeous in the fall and so convenient for making it back to camp in the evening. We'll be coming back every year!

"Plum" Perfect Campsite on the Farm
This was our second stay here and it was fantastic. The site is private and beautiful. Dan chased us down the path and gave us some of the best plums and apples we’ve had, what a treat! We will absolutely return for a 3rd visit.
