Timber Frame Barn Stay
My friend’s and I stayed at Hannah’s cabin on our way up to the North Shore for a little roadtrip. We had everything we needed and the place was just the right size for a group of 4. The main area is very cozy and the kitchen has plenty of room for prepping meals. More than that, there’s a whole farm to explore. I hope to come back at some point.

Timber Frame Barn Stay
Amazing Experience
Medicine Creek Farm spoke to us in a way that felt spiritual, motivating us to book 6 nights for our vacation.
During our farm tour with Hannah, we learned about regenerative farming, deepening our resolve to do better by knowing where our food comes from and only sourcing humanely raised meats. We learned that regenerative farming dispels the myth that consuming beef/pork is unstainable; in fact, it is sustainable if raised through regenerative methods.
My best description of the Timber Frame Barn Stay is Little House on the Prairie meets Chip and Joanna Gaines. It was comfortable with two bedrooms (one with a king), a comfortable open concept family room/large kitchen, and a large counter that seats 7. It was so comfortable that we only left the farm 2 out of the 6 days we were there. The other 4 days we stayed at the farm, enjoying the peace and quiet. We read books, cooked in the kitchen, and enjoyed watching the farm activity all around us. We even got to feed a bottle to a little lamb. Another unique thing was the persistent, gentle wind across the pasture grasses.
Finally, the night sky at the farm is magnificent. We could see the Milky Way; too-many-to-count planets, stars, and galaxies; and satellites jetting across the sky high above Earth. When you’ve seen a sky like this, it makes you realize how small we are AND how connected we are to each other and to the universe.
Hannah and her family are wonderful hosts, and we would highly recommend their farm stay.
