Off Grid camping on private property. Tent, Car, Van, Truck, Roof-top camping welcome. Select the right site to fit your needs. Drive to every campsite (except Heated Winter Camping-3 min walk) and have your own private parking. Secluded privacy with incredible stargazing. Experience complete darkness for viewing the stars. Breathtaking Northern Lights if the time is right. There is One Clear Camping Dome on-site which includes a private firepit. Enjoy 360 degrees of nature in the Clear Dome while relaxing on a queen size bed. Don't want to set camp up? Don't worry... There is 1 Heated tent set up with 2 cots available. Several other sites include private firepits. If you need a pull-thru site, Site #9 offers a pull-thru option. Please note there is no water or electric. The property has 2 porta potties for campers. Choose from several different campsites that you can drive directly onto. Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash or tether. They may not run free. No extra charge for pets! CLEAN UP after your pets. A convenience store is just a 3-minute drive away if you need supplies. Walmart delivery is available to driveway. Park Point Beach is only 10 miles from the property. Jay Cooke State Park only 10 miles away. Enger Tower only 9 miles away. Please note that you may hear distant sounds, including traffic, trains, coyotes, and a neighbor's rooster. There are 4 different types of campsites. 1. Heated Clear Dome with queen bed and bedding. Includes private firepit, 1 vehicle and 2 people. Setting up an additional tent is allowed. 2. Vehicles only. No firepit. No tents. (Rooftop tent is ok) $20 3. Sites with Firepits allow vehicles and tents. $30-40 includes a firepit filled with firewood, 1 vehicle, 2 tents, 4 people. Additional firewood can be purchased for $7 a bundle. 4. Tent already set up. Heated Fall/Winter Camping (only 1 available) If yard maintenance, such as mowing or trimming is necessary during your stay, it will typically take place between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Dome is 12 ft diameter and 7 ft tall. Please note when the sun is shining the Dome is 30-50 degrees hotter than outside. When the sun is down, it is the same temperature as outside. The use of a Propane Mr. Heater Little Buddy and 2 lbs of propane are included. (1 lb runs the heater for 5.5 hrs) Perfect for Fall and Winter camping. Camp in a Clear Dome illuminated with solar lights. Enjoy 360 degrees of nature. Price includes Clear Dome with queen size bed and bedding, plus a private firepit full of wood. This booking allows 1 vehicle and 2 people. You are allowed to bring 1 additional tent and canopy and/or screen house. Additional Vehicles can be added for $30 each, which includes 2 more guests and 1 additional tent. Porta Potty is onsite for campers. Drive to your own campsite and enjoy the advantage of your car readily available. Only a 3 min drive to a convenience store if needed. Don't let that discourage you from camping. A guest stayed in the dome when it dropped to 40 degrees. They had a sleeping bag and throw with a hoodie on and they said they were fine. They did not use the heater. A beanie or hoodie will make a hug difference! The bed provided has normal polyester sheets, flat flannel sheet, 2 comforters, and 2 regular pillows. Sleeping bag and 2 throws are also provided for use. If you are worried about temperature, bring additional sleeping bags. Additional propane tanks are $10 each. You will hear traffic and a train in the distance.

Vehicle is parked only 30 ft from camping site. But once there is a lot of snow on the ground there will be a 5 min hike. Sleeping bags, pillows and blankets are NOT provided. Have you always wanted to try cold weather camping? Or you just don’t want to set camp up yourself? Here is your opportunity! Heated insulated tent with 2 adult cots, plus 1 child/dog cot if requested. Two camping chairs also provided. Private firepit and 2 bundles of wood provided per night booked. There is a porta potty on site for campers. Tent is 75 sq feet made with Insulated fabric and on foam flooring. Measurements of tent are about 9 1/2 feet x 9 1/2 feet and 80" tall. Tent has 4 windows and solar lights are provided for night time. The use of a Heater Buddy and 3 lbs of propane provided per night booked. The heater runs on HIGH for 3 hours per 1 lb propane container. Additional Heater is available to rent and extra propane available for purchase. Campers are always welcome to bring their own heater and propane. You may also bring 2 additional tents to set up. If you add additional adults or children they will not fit in this tent unless cots are taken out and mats are put down to sleep on. FYI, An Air mattress is not ideal for cold weather unless you have a barrier between yourself and the mattress. Please see pictures so you know what can fit. Please come prepared. What an incredible spot! My husband and I went camping for the first time and thanks to Aimee and this great spot, it was a breeze! The location was easy to find, she was quick to respond, the view of the stars were incredible and we even had a cat visitor our first night ( a big highlight for me). 10/10 will be coming back.

Really nice campsite & it was fun to sleep in the dome. The only feedback I would give for future campers & the host (for informational purposes, these did not detract from our experience) is: there was train noise throughout the night (bring earplugs if this bothers you) and the toilet is tricky to find at night. It’s adequate but it’s a shed with a portable camp toilet so it’s difficult if several campsites are all using it (I’d consider bringing your own portable one.)

Everything we needed. Simple and close to amenities to explore the north shore. Be aware that there will be traffic noise in area so bring earplugs if you need complete quiet. Everything else up to par and would book again for the value and proximity to Duluth. Loved that they provided firewood <3

If you just need a place to stay for the night, then this place will do. It's 15 minutes from Costco so it's kinda loud- car noise and train noise. I didn't receive check-in instructions, but thankfully the host was there. There is a shared, enclosed camping toilet, which was nice to have. But I couldn't figure out any way to latch it from the inside. I had anxiety using it. The host didn't give the address, just coordinates. This meant my GPS announced I had arrived but it didn't tell me where to turn, so i initially passed it. I had an easier time finding it after I figured out the street address and could put that in phone. The sites were clean. But it's loud camping in someone's front yard just minutes from Costco and the mall.

I was expecting to think nothing of this campsite. I booked it for the night because it’s close to a lot of hikes I wanted to do over the weekend. Day of I reached out to the owner and they replied immediately! They sent a detailed video of how exactly to get to the site. I purchased a bundle of firewood and they went above and beyond. They set up a fire ready to start, made sure the wood stayed dry and I had enough for the whole night! Not to mention they have a portable bathroom for guests. Im very satisfied and would recommend to anyone, who wants a peaceful night stay (:

Aimee is a great host! Her land is beautiful and the place is kept very clean. She was very responsive to messages during our stay, helpful and extremely prompt with a concern I messaged about, and she even set up extra kindling for our fire while we were out! The dome itself is gorgeous! It did fog up at night so that we couldn't really see out of the top, but stars were visible from our campfire spot. The location of the dome is fairly private, but if people are staying at other sites, they would be able to see it on their way to the outhouse. (You can park your vehicle in a way that helps mitigate this.) We stayed Sept 20-22, so the very end of summer/ beginning of fall. We slept with the two vents open to help with air quality and with the condensation. The temperature got down to around 39-40 degrees at night. Even with lots of layers, it was really tough to glamp in the cold weather. I would recommend booking this for a time that has nighttime temperatures that you feel comfortable sleeping in. As a whole, it was a lovely trip and a unique experience getting to glamp in the dome!!

Heated Off Grid 12ft Clear Dome with Stargazing and Private Firepit
Aimee was such a wonderful host!! We felt like we were at a private oasis, and enjoyed every minute. Everything was clean and the space was perfect for our night away under the stars! We will be back again.

#9 Off Grid Stargazing Campsite with Private Firepit
Aimee reached out once we were approved and notified us of potential gps delays due to construction, excellent communication! She was kind enough to wait for our late check in and showed us to our site, the convenient on site fire wood add on and in general flexibility for checking in/out really stands out. If you don't mind the occasional nearby night traffic and the locomotive workforce then you'll have a quiet, peaceful and perfect spot for a city getaway or even stargazing with a clear sky.
