Everything was great, I would highly recommend this place. The layout seemed very well planned and thought out. I loved the little camp store they had set up and the outhouse was clean. It was a very peaceful stay and I will definitely be back.

Stayed here with some friends and we had a really great experience. The campground was beautiful and very well-maintained. The outhouse was very clean and the mini-store was adorable. We loved our visit and would definitely recommend.

Cool spot that my daughter and I stopped at in between traveling from MT to NH. Drive in site #5 had plenty of room and was level enough for a campervan. Neat property with a small camp store on site for essentials. We woke up early to watch the meteor shower, perfect clear skies in this part of the state.

Cute little walk-in sites! Campsite 1 was perfect for my friend and I with my 4-person tent. A tent much bigger than that might get a little too close to the fire ring, though. The site was fairly level and we had no trouble finding a flat spot for the tent. The outhouse and "general store" were just a short walk away and both were clean and tidy. There was a wagon/cart for bring our stuff between our vehicle and the campsite which was extremely useful! However, the wagon had 2 tires that were completely flat, so it required more effort to pull and made our gear a little lopsided on the wagon. There are 2 trails leaving the parking lot to the campsites. The trails eventually connect, but there was no sign at the parking lot to know what campsites are closest to each trailhead. Hidden Pines is definitely worth a return trip for me!

Small site but super cute and were able to make it work with 2 small, 4p tents. Attention to details is wonderful. All sites have a meal prep table and fire pit! All signs are worded with reflective tape to make it easy to find. They had an extra area mowed and set up with ladder ball and had bocce set to borrow. Small camp store to purchase any necessities you may have forgotten plus firewood. Stars were beautiful and it reminded me being up north in the pines. I would totally stay here again!

Area was beautiful and private. Directions were very clear which is always a nice thing, gives you one less thing to worry about. Loved the little shop they had set up by the out house area, definitely would stay there again!

The campsite was roomy and even came with a very thoughtful bug torch to help keep the bugs away (of which there unfortunately was many, given the time of year). Plenty of space around the firepit, a nice picnic table to set up on, and multiple good spots to put a tent up with room for a much larger tent. The only downside is that it does face directly south, so during the day it is full sun!

Had a wonderful stay at Hidden Pines! Loved the camp store and the firewood right on site! Site was secluded and had enough space for 2 4 man tents and a 1 man tent! Close to Barnum, MN if you need to make an Ice run! Excellent time! Will be coming back!

Site #3 ONE TENT & PRIVATE

Beautiful and peaceful campground with friendly hosts and impeccable attention to detail. The campground turn-off is clearly marked and the campground has great signage to help you navigate the outhouse, firewood, parking area, and sites. I stayed at the only drive-up site, it was very spacious and private. I loved that firewood was available on-site as well as their little "general store" full of essentials incase you forget anything. The outhouse was clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and fairly remote, which I prefer and cell service was good (AT&T). I found lots of agates walking along the gravel roads in the area. Heard lots of wildlife at night: frogs, toads, coyotes, wolves and even saw a few deer while hiking. I enjoyed exploring their hiking trails each morning and immersing myself in nature. This was my first Hipcamp experience and I couldn't have had a better time! Aric & Beth were very responsive and accommodating hosts who work hard to maintain the campground and ensure their guests have a pleasant experience. I do plan on returning in the future and would recommend this spot to family/friends!

Clean and cared for sites

A perfect little camp site up north. (2 adults, 2 golden retrievers.) Nice amenities and very scenic. Although we didn’t need anything, the little shop had lots of items for sale if you forgot something. Yard games were available for free to use. Alternate route trails to sites was a nice touch. Signage was very clear and parking area was nicely mowed.

Super cute sites, I specifically loved the customer run shop! Unbelievably helpful for last minute items I forgot (like my toothbrush!). Hosts were very kind and helpful, slightly hard to find but it was super dark when we arrived.

It was such a cute property, with a short walk in, allowing it to be more secluded from the street. They also provide a wagon to help make the transition from car to campsite even easier. The facilities were so cute and overall such a great spot, so glad I stumbled upon it. :)

There is More Than Pictures Show!

Site #3 ONE TENT & PRIVATE

My son and I recently enjoyed campsite #2. It is hard to capture all that their land has to offer in a few pictures. The site was clean and open with a nice fire pit and a decent picnic table. We have a very large tent and it fit in the back of the site no problem. The site was an old Christmas Tree farm so the remaining pines are just beautiful, especially with the twilight of the sunset shining through. Things I did not know notice ahead of time on the Hipcamp site were the cute convenience "store" next to the outhouse and the wide hiking trails. Both were much more than I would have expected for what they charge. The trails are beautiful and have a number of offshoot trails that loop back. As far as privacy, we were there one night with sites 1-4 booked and other than the folks going to site 3 a couple times, you never really saw anyone and everyone was quiet enough where it didn't bother in the least. There is enough space between the sites. There is a trail overlooking the field to the east with a couple Adirondack chairs to enjoy the sunrise or anytime. There is a bocce set in the store to use and we ranged the property after everyone left. It was so nice and we got to meet the hosts before we left. They seemed very glad to be doing this and have put a lot of work into the place. ...and you sure cannot beat the price. This is nothing like a normal campground where there are campers, pets, and noise in every direction. Highly recommend.

Clean and well kept campground. A little mazey to navigate until you realize that is for the purpose of getting around other folks' sites without disturbing them (I think). General store was nice. Tent area was flat, quiet and peaceful location.

A great night of stargazing

Directions to get there were clear and they had a very helpful cart in the parking area to transport all my gear along with a thoughtful little general store for some essentials. The site itself felt very private with a clever path through the trees, which was very helpful for my planned night of stargazing/astrophotography attempts. Would come back to camp again!

It was a great stay here! The “general store” was super convenient for having wood for fires. We got in late at night and the light up signs were so helpful to lead us in the right direction. Definitely would recommend camping here!

Very nice. As advertised. Loved having the cart bring our stuff back and forth. We had one campsite and none of the others were occupied. Felt private. Moose lake has a lot to do. Appreciate that there were maps and pamphlets in the general store about local activities to do

It obviously has a lot of effort put into all aspects of the sites. It is a little close to other campers, but it works well if you don’t need absolute privacy. They have a super fun little self serve store and signs that clearly mark the layout of the site. 9.5 out of 10 for us, super pretty, I just wish there was a little more distance in between campers!

Love all the signs! Was very quiet even when others were camping. The general store is amazing. One of the nicest outhouses I’ve been in. A great half way point from home and the North Shore. Highly recommend!

Another amazing stay! After a lovely time at site 1, we went for the more secluded site 3. While it is a little bit more of a trek, no one wandered out our way. Plenty of hiking, free games, and a well stocked store makes this a destination we will keep returning to.

Great site! Super easy to get to and relaxing stay. Toilet was clean and well maintained with little solar lights. The "mini store" was a plus while grabbing firewood. I would definitely stay again!
