Night away from the city
Incredible spot to get away from the city that isn’t far off the grid. All the directions was simple and clear. There were signs around the campsite to conveniently guide the campers which was a huge help! Ground was flat for a overall enjoyable rest. Complimentary firewood was very kind. Would definitely return in the future!

I want to write a bad review so no one will want to camp here and I’ll be able to book it when I want. But of course, I can’t do that. No complaints at all.
We absolutely loved the campsites. They were well maintained, citronella candles provided. The woods were beautiful and peaceful. The night sky was lit up with more stars than I’ve seen in a long time. They had a very cute and well maintained outhouse! We definitely felt the owners cared about our experience. They were accommodating and quick to respond. We definitely want to come back when we are able.
Definitely an amazing get away.

Great stay!
This tent site was so clean and easy to access. I'd 100% recommend this site to people who are looking to get away in the north woods. They had clear cut paths to each tent site, lamps through the paths, and a very clean outhouse. Very happy with my stay here.

Hidden Pines made for a great stay! The drive in is beautiful, the property was really nice. If you're visiting in the summer, come prepared for some mosquitoes and ticks, but hey, that comes with the territory! Firewood was easy to access, Aric & Beth were easy to contact, I had no issues on my stay, all around would recommend :)
Site 3 ONE TENT & PRIVATE
Site 3 was nice and private, surrounded by nice birch, pine, and a variety of bird calls, close to a little incline to gaze into the woods. This particular site, as mentioned, is narrower then the others so a larger tent would be a tight fit. Hosts were accommodating, but gave us privacy which was nice. Decent outhouse to do your business.
Mosquitos were in full effect in early June which limited the time outside of the tent by the fire. Bring some sort of repellent. Found a few tics on us, so check your nooks.
All in all it was a nice, peaceful, big starry sky at night campsite. Fending off the bugs has come to be expected, but be prepared for them.

Secluded Getaway
The perfect spot for a private getaway. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the hikes due to rain but would love to have done so. I greatly appreciated the firewood at the campsite. thanks!

Great campsite in the trees
We really enjoyed this campsite! Each of the 3 sites were nicely tucked away in trees for privacy and many amenities were included. Site #2 was large enough for our 3 tents and 5 people and included a sizable picnic table and kitchen prep table. The outhouse was super clean - and cute! The host included thoughtful details such as a free bundle of firewood (additional wood is available for a small fee) and solar path lights at each site to find your way at night.
Note - there is no water at the campsite but if you bring your own bucket/container it’s available from the hosts’ outside water tap.
You’ll also need to walk in your gear but the car parking is only a 1-3 minute walk from the tent sites.
Mosquitos were intense when we arrived and setup camp (4pm) but they all disappeared by 8pm and were didn’t have any the next morning either.
The hosts were great with communicating and very helpful with our pure-departure questions.
This is a great location for adventuring in Jay Cooke State Park or whitewater rafting on the St Louis River near Cloquet. Also quite close to Duluth for day trips!

Nice quiet camping
The sites were well-priced and a good size. Even with other campers there the privacy was good too!
Other than mosquitos I don’t have any complaints!!

Perfect spot in the woods!
Nice little getaway! As a lot of public camping spots were claimed for our last minute planning, I found this private booking. It was a great deal, lovely little area with off-road parking and a short little walk to the campsite. Complementary bundle of wood, we had site #2 with a picnic table! lots of space even though it was just two of us.

Nice grassy site in woods.
Stayed here as we were going to Banning State park the first day of our trip, and Duluth the following day. Nice clean grassy spot for a tent in the midst of pine and other trees. Short haul in site. Would make a great spot for a group camp using all three sites.

This is a remote treasure within an hour drive of Duluth. Lots of quiet and biodiversity. Heard tons of song birds, coyotes, owls, and saw a variety of butterflies. Prepare for bug abundance and dress appropriately.

Private, wooded, wildflower prairie land, tucked away from a country road. Site #2 was spacious and open. The brand new outhouse just a minute walk away was very nice. Wood was provided. Host was readily available and helpful.

Great Spot
Awesome little campsite that was perfect for what we needed. Keep in mind - you cannot drive your car up to the spot, so be prepared to walk with your equipment for a few minutes, but there is a nice clear and marked path to walk through. Hosts provided a complimentary bundle of fire wood and even brought us more when we realized we needed more. Lovely little clearing with a picnic table and fire pit. We enjoyed our stay, it was very beautiful!
