Cuyuna Crossing offers both private riverside domes and walk-in rustic campsites on 21 wooded acres with over a half mile of Mississippi River frontage, just minutes from the Cuyuna Recreation Area. Our professionally designed 18-hole disc golf course winds through the woods and along the river. Overnight guests can play any time during their stay, and the course is also open to the public on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mirror Hypedomes (Glamping) Our insulated domes are designed for quiet, comfortable stays and are ideal for couples. Each includes a king bed, wood stove (firewood provided), electric heat, AC in the summer season, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, outdoor seating, fire ring, and private river access. Included wood-fired, coil thermosiphon hot tubs are the ultimate camping luxury during the summer season. Private Bathroom & Shower: Each dome comes with its own private bathroom and shower, just for your party. It's in the main building, a short walk from the domes. Pets: Leashed pets are welcome everywhere outside on the property, but they can't stay inside the domes. Winter Season (Oct 19 – May 1) The domes stay open all year! During the winter season the wood-fired hot tubs are out of service (we shut them off once nights drop below freezing), and the rate is $179 a night with a 1-night minimum. The wood stove keeps things cozy, and firewood is provided. Plan to keep the fire going overnight on the coldest nights. Rustic Campsites Walk-in tent sites offer a simple, peaceful way to experience the land. The property includes one Riverside Group Site (up to four tents) and four individual tent sites along the river. Sites are bring-your-own-gear. A porta potty serves the campsite area. Walk-In Access: All campsites are walk-in only, with no vehicles past the main lot. Park there and use one of our carts to haul your gear. The trail can be muddy or uneven after rain, so plan on two trips if you're bringing a lot. Water: The campsites don't have water or electrical hookups. You can fill up with drinking water at the main building by the parking lot, so bring a jug or refillable bottles to carry back to your site. Optional add-on: shared private bathroom & shower access in the main building (limited availability, advance purchase required). **Riverside Group Campsite** Gather your crew in a mostly flat, 40-by-60-foot clearing along a bend of the Mississippi River. Our largest rustic campsite has room for up to four medium tents, making it a good fit for families, friends, or a disc golf weekend. The site includes two picnic tables—one closer to the waterfront—and a large central fire ring. It is also the closest campsite to the porta potty. This is a walk-in site. Park in the main lot and use one of the provided carts to bring your gear down. Keeping vehicles out of the campsite area helps preserve the quiet along the river. Our 18-hole disc golf course is nearby, along with woods and trails to explore. A rock beach near the campsite offers access to the river. Water levels and conditions change throughout the season, so please use caution. There is also a rope swing near the river; check the water’s depth and conditions before considering its use. Bring your own camping gear. There is no electricity or water hookup at the campsite, but potable water is available at the main building. **Optional add-on: Bathroom and shower access** Campers may purchase access to a bathroom and shower in the main building. Rustic Riverside Campsite #4 Site #4 is a wooded, walk-in campsite beside the Mississippi River, near the clearing at Indian Jack Creek. The overall site measures roughly 55 by 15 feet, but much of that ground is uneven. It has one 10-by-12-foot tent pad suitable for a single tent, along with a picnic table and fire ring. The site is just off the main trail, so you may see other campers walking past or glimpse their campfires through the trees at night. It is also closest to the public gathering area at Sunset Point. Park in the main lot and use one of the provided carts to bring your gear to the site. The walk takes about 15 minutes along the wooded trail. The ground may be muddy or uneven, especially after a storm, and you may need more than one trip if you bring a lot of gear. Bring your own camping gear. There are no electricity or water hookups at the site. Potable water is available at the main building near the parking area. The shared porta potty is back along the campsite trail near the Group Campsite. The river is beside the site, and overnight guests may use the property’s trails and professionally designed 18-hole disc golf course. The clearing measures roughly 40 by 15 feet, including the picnic table and fire ring, with room for up to two small tents. Natural shade makes it a pleasant place to settle in, and the fishing and picnic area is within easy reach. You may see other campers on the trails or glimpse their campfires through the trees at night. Park in the main lot and use one of the provided carts to bring your gear to the site. Follow the wooded trail past the Group Campsite toward Rock Beach, then take the signed trail to Site #1. The ground may be muddy or uneven, especially after a storm, and you may need a second trip if you bring a lot of gear. Bring your own camping gear. The main camping area measures roughly 25 by 15 feet, with a smaller area nearby where an additional small tent could fit. The site has room for one larger tent or two small tents in total. Trees and ferns surround the clearing, and you may see other campers on the trails or glimpse their campfires through the trees at night. This site has a large bank over the river, making the ground extra uneven, but extra cozy in a hobbit-hole sort of way. Park in the main lot and use one of the provided carts to bring your gear to the site. Follow the wooded trail along the river past Sites #1 and #2. The trail may be muddy or uneven, especially after a storm, and you may need more than one trip if you bring a lot of gear. Bring your own camping gear. My husband and I loved tent camping at camp site #1. The site is picturesque and well maintained. Leah is a wonderful host and was able to answer any questions we had. The add on amenities are great. We rented a couple of kayak’s which I highly recommend if you don’t have your own to bring. The disc golf course is well made and an absolutely beautiful walk through the woods.

Me and the family stayed at campsite number two and we loved it. We stayed for the 4th of july so we didnt get a chance to try the disc golf course but it looks very intising if you like a challenge. The bugs were not an issue at all especially being in the middle of the woods. Over all it was a fantastic stay. Yes it is a little bit of a walk but that is what makes the experience even better. Leah and her family where there when we pulled up and they were doing landscaping and improving the overall look of the place. Leah greeted use with joy and excitment that we were there. We did not get a chance to use the shower or private bathroom, by the look of the building the bathrooms must be nice. The big sliver dome tents that leah has will definitely be the next thing we try on our next trip. Overall the experience was very heart-warming and easy to find. Definitely 11 out of 10 to recommend staying here.

What a fantastic spot! The property itself is beautiful. Really well designed for privacy, fun and relaxation. I love that the site is cart in, and the bathroom/ shower add on is clutch. The host was SO kind and helpful getting us settled into the site. It’s the perfect lowkey paradise near tons of rad adventure spots! I would absolutely return.

We wanted to find somewhere last minute to camp and it was a really cool spot. Plenty of firewood, nice view of the river. We didn’t face any issues driving to the site, off roading but a clear path. The fire pit was awesome and our fire was still smoking when we woke up!

What a fantastic spot! As the host recommends, definitely plan to walk. We drove out there in a very small AWD car and we got out and in in mostly one piece, but it is very tight. That said, site 3 is stunning. The stars were out and it was the perfect site to stargaze. We managed to get a couple walleye off of the bank in front of the camp. Definitely bring your rod and some heavy lures to get across the wide Mississippi if you like fishing. They are out there! -Tons of wood -good views -well kept -very dog friendly -no bugs (when we went)

First trip for our small crew - 2 adults and 3 doggos. Limited people sounds (a bit of traffic near by, but easy to tune out). The site is definitely new with lots of down sticks and branches for a fire. It was great to be close to town, but also distant from people. Looks like they are making great strides with expansion.

My friend and I loved tent camping at site 3. The hike in was made easier with the wagon and we loved the views of the Mississippi. We were able to put our tubes in at site 2 and coast down to our site. We got a nice breeze and plenty of privacy! Leah had great communication leading up to our trip and even provided us helpful information for a kayaking route. We would definitely like to come back for more memories! Having endless firewood was such a perk too.

Took a break from cabins surrounded by other cabins and enjoyed tent camping with our Lugaloo on campsite #1. Yes, you can hear traffic but didn’t bother us. Bring a speaker and play your favorite music. You don’t need a loud volume to drown out the traffic sound. Enjoyed the adventurous drive to the camp site. We did help out fellow campers that got stuck so keep that in mind. We drove a dodge ram 2500 with a wench. Glad we could help out. You want off grid and surround yourself with trees…you found it. Great weekend.

Excellent weekend getaway on the river. The site was easy to find and super spacious. I had plenty of room to explore, and a great spot for my tent. Fishing was also excellent from this spot, if you’re planning to fish, hit up Oars-n-Mine in Crosby for bait as the bait shop across the street from the property is closed. My Nissan Rogue made it mostly fine to and from the campsite (I still goofed and scraped over a small stump which my front bumper didn’t like. Just be aware and you’ll be fine). Hoping to be back at some point as the views were fantastic and the solitude was lovely

Camping at this site #2 was great! Lots of great fire wood and an excellent view right on the Mississippi River! The site is a great place to stay. We brought a boat to hop on the fish the whitefish chain, we had plenty of space to park it at the front of the property. The boat parking was nicely hidden away from the road. The drive to campsite was easy enough but I would recommend having 4 wheel drive or 4x4, ESPECIALLY if rains. Don’t plan on bringing a boat/trailer with you to the campsite, but there is space to park it at the front of the property. Bring mosquito spray, they can be tough buggers.

I stayed at site #3. Beautiful spot and very secluded from your neighbors. Lots of wood to burn and a beautiful spot to relax and detox from the rest of the world. Not a very hard drive to get back there at all (as long as you have AWD I’d say lol). I would highly recommend this spot. 10/10 🫶🏻

We had a great trip! The river access was fantastic and the site itself was lovely and well kept. Our 4wd vehicles had no problem getting back to the site, though as Leah mentioned a smaller vehicle would have struggled. Plenty of room for a couple of hammocks and a very large tent! Overall beautiful spot, we will definitely be back!

Site 2 was great ! Our Honda pilot AWD made the drive easily . Plenty of unsplit logs already cut up and stacked at the camp site ready for splitting and burning which was amazing ! Kayaks worked perfectly ! We will come back

We've stayed at this site before, so we knew we would have a great time! The trail back to site 3 is more overgrown than previous years, so be prepared for that. There was also garbage left from the previous campers, so we tried to clean up the site and leave it better for the next campers. We appreciate the views and seclusion that site 3 offers. Thanks for the great camping experience!

Excellent weekend! Bugs were minimal and fish bit decent right from camp. They definitely have been improving the road in, as we had no issues with cars and small suv's. We overly enjoyed our stay!
