There is one queen sized bed, 3 full sized beds total with a trundle. 2 of the 3 beds are bunked one on top of the other. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably. For boat owners the George Lake public access is located at the end of cabin driveway. The cabin property is surrounded by state owned land with a quarter mile of lake frontage about 50 feet away from the cabin there is also a screened in porch with a picnic table. Loon Camp offers unrivaled privacy. Please be aware of your surroundings and of your pets at all times! Two (2) pet maximum. Had a wonderful weekend at Harvest Loon Camp. All of the amenities far exceeded expectations! The beds were comfortable, the cabin was air conditioned and the bathroom was newly renovated. Bonus points for being dog friendly! Robert was very responsive to questions throughout our trip. Highly recommend staying here - one of the best Hipcamp experiences we've had!

Great place! Great fit for us with kids, they loved the lake, bunk beds, and we went to the beach at Little Emily Lake Park about 15 minutes away. Loved the fire pit, and we hung a couple hammocks. Would love to come back again.

Thank goodness we had good company. The weather was to cold to get in the lake but the guys enjoyed fishing from the kyacks. The fire pit saved the days for us girls. Next time we will go later in the year to enjoy all that this property has to offer. Beautiful and Peaceful. The swans and the beavers were fun to watch. The loons were truly amazing to listen to. It was just so cold. Mother nature decided that. I can only imagine how much more it has to offer on warm sunny days. Next time we WILL go later in the year. We still had an amazing time with the best of friends. Just down the road, Pickle Loon saloon was a great place to dine on all you can eat fish Mondays. And FYI, the beds are full size (3) and a trundle. Bathroom was spacious with an amazing shower. We never saw another person the whole time we were there. Not even on the lake. Its just a beautiful piece of land and property. And ohhhh..I saw the biggest doe that I have ever laid eyes on. Nature at its finest. Thank you Bob for allowing us this opportunity. ❤️

This was the perfect quiet getaway cabin for our family. Nice and secluded cabin with access to the water! Fantastic cozy backyard area with firepit. The cabin itself worked great for us; open concept allowed for more family interaction, and then also able to shut the door and allow the early risers to make coffee and take showers while the teenagers get to sleep in a bit and not be disturbed. The cabin was a great blend of authentic rustic “cabin feel” along with some luxuries (A/C if needed, nice new addition with nice shower, laundry, etc…). Take the time to try the spring water down the road! The loons provided great company. Our golden retriever enjoyed the layout as well. It worked real well for having a dog. Great rental!

Absolutely incredible property! Such a privilege to get to stay at Bob’s place. The cabin and setting are truly heavenly. We saw one boat the entire week. Beavers, owls, herons, muskrats, birds of many species. It is so well set up for outdoor cooking & eating. The beach and kayaks made the lake feel so accessible and enjoyable. The condition of the cabin is so wonderfully preserved and the new bathroom is such a perk. Can’t wait to go back!

This is such a gem. It was our second time visiting; first in the winter and now late spring. Can confirm it is great regardless of season! Such a beautiful view of the lake, comfy beds, great kitchen, really nice fire pit area. Definitely recommend just don't book it when we want to come! :)

Love the private cozy cabin! The wind through the pines is such a soothing sound! We enjoyed the hoots of the resident barred owl and distant honking of swans in the nearby channel. We even saw a little otter pop up onto the ice! Lots of hiking and restaurant options nearby. The addition of a bathroom is a nice treat! Truly would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay at this cabin, and will definitely be back. The cabin strikes a perfect balance between a rustic and modern getaway. We had a minor mixup getting the keys when we first arrived, but host Robert helped me get it fixed right away. When we got into the cabin, the wood stove was preloaded and already going, which was an awesome respite from the -10f temps outside.

This is my fourth time staying at Harvest Loon and it never disappoints. Even in the dead of winter, this place is cozy and charming. We had so much fun hanging out by the wood stove, listening to music, and getting some respite from city life. We got stuck in snow on our way out and Bob was super helpful sending out a plow guy.

We had the most wonderful weekend get away. Its a great place to disconnect from screens and get back in touch with nature. It was a beautiful wooded area right on the lake. The wood burning stove was so nice and warm. It was the perfect place to relax and reset with friends. The cabin itself comes with everything you could need with a warm rustic ambiance. Will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods. It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The lake view was the highlight—absolutely stunning at sunset. Sitting on the deck with coffee in hand while listening to the sounds of nature was pure peace. Our stay (three nights) at Harvest Loon was excellent! The rustic feel of the log cabin, combined with all the appreciated amenities (Full kitchen, Beautiful Bathroom, wood burning stove, fire ring outdoors, plenty of firewood) was perfect! The privacy of the property was amazing and the lake view was sublime! The beds were all comfortable and we loved the shower. Harvest Loon is located just 30 minutes from anywhere you'd want to go up in the Brainard, Pequot, Nisswa, Cross Lake area. We highly recommend!

What a place! Harvest Loon Camp was just as described and all the photos, but so much more in person. A wonderful and peaceful spot, with direct views across the lake. We stayed 4 days in August (Mon-Fri) and only once saw someone else on the lake; it was like the whole lake was our own private retreat. The kids loved the beach, and the two canoes. The cabin was spacious, even with 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children). Kitchen was well equipped, plus small grill and big fire pit! Directions to the cabin and entry instructions were spot on and easy to follow. A wonderful stay, thank you Bob!

We absolutely loved harvest loon cabin! The screened in porch kept the bugs away while still listening to the loons and playing cards into the night. Modern amenities in the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The cabin was very private but easy to find. Barely any signal made for a great off the grid weekend while being close enough to town for any last minute necessities. Highly recommend checking out little Emily park for swimming and trails. Human and dog approved
