The 80-acre property is carved out of a Norway pine plantation. Sites are approximately 10,000 square ft. in size with about 50 ft. of trees between each site for semi-privacy. We have tried to maintain a balance of nature while making the sites as RV friendly as possible. Although the property is located in the country, it is located along a state highway for easy access and there are three towns and many amenities and recreational venues within 15 minutes drive. Currently no hook-ups, but there is a yard hydrant and dump station. There are also portable restrooms on site.

No hookups, but there is a yard hydrant located on the property to fill tanks and a dump station to empty grey and black water. There is also a garbage dumpster located on the property for disposal of refuse.

Site 318 - RV There Yet Campground

Site 318 is located in the older growth portion of the property. It is located away from all the other currently available sites for additional privacy. However, since it is in an area where development is still in progress, it is a site that requires a "walk-in" of about 50 feet from the location where your RV would be parked. Smaller rigs may be able to back into the actual site. Site is provided with picnic table, fire ring, and free pine firewood. No hookups, but there is a yard hydrant located on the property to fill tanks and a dump station to empty grey and black water. There is also a garbage dumpster located on the property for disposal of refuse. A satellite restroom is also located near the site.

Site 308 - RV There Yet Campground
Allen was a great host and met us pretty late to lead us to the site. We really appreciated it because the property is HUGE and we never would have found it without his help. The site was tucked back in the woods- very quiet and private. The land was a bit lumpy, which is fine for RVs, but we made the choice to tent camp. We were still able to find a good patch to set up our tent and really enjoyed the stargazing and sounds of nature. There was firewood available, but I would recommend bringing your own. There had been a lot of rain that week and the firewood is not protected from the elements. Allen offered to bring us some more, which was very kind, but I would at least have some ready for your first night.

A boondockers paradise!

Perfect for boondocking! There is water at the rv dump as well as clean portables dotted throughout the acreage. Importantly, there is plenty of space for a relatively private stay. We were in site 101 and could hear the road quite clearly but didn’t mind, you may want to choose a deeper site. The tree plantation was perfect for a hammock! Thank you Allen and we look forward to another stay.

Site 102 - RV There Yet Campground
Rented 2 spots and had the family up, it was so peaceful and the sites a very nice sized and easy to maneuver around plus a lot to explore. I would definitely recommend! Alan is very nice and helpful, great host And hope to go again later in the summer.

We loved camping on Allen’s land. We enjoyed how quiet and to yourself you are in this camp ground. We highly recommend this if you like outdoors and nature.

Very peaceful site. A bit hard to locate (maybe a brightly painted sign on hwy would make it more clear). Host was very nice and very helpful when I couldn't get my sway bar attached. Can't wait to watch all the changes to this camp ground as it gets developed more.

Really nice setup with plenty of privacy. Good water and was plenty of wood! Easy to find and easy to deal with Host. Helpful and attentive. Would definitely stay again!

It was very quiet, clean and spacious. I loved that it was away from town but only a 10minute drive to the lake or town if you wanted to venture around. We will definitely be coming back!

Site 301 - RV There Yet Campground
Don’t book the 300+ sites, as of June 2024. They are still in the development stage. They are almost ready, but not quite. I enjoyed site 101 instead. Allen did reach out beforehand, through Hipcamp, but I didn’t receive it. Turns out we were thinking the same thing. Allen is a great host and is only 10 minutes away if you need anything. It was amazing and I had the place to myself, which was nice. I did a lot of exploring and found way too many ticks! 😬 The hazards of camping. You can hear the traffic noise at these sites (100’s), so am looking forward to the development of the future sites that are further away from the highway! The next site I want to try is 104, hopefully this year.

Allen is working on sites. The site we had could of been more level. Uneven ground makes it hard to set up a pop up camper or any other RV. Loved that the sites are drive through. That's a big plus.

Site 101 - RV There Yet Campground
The campsite was lovely, and the host Allen is very helpful and kind. It’s a great destination close to akeley. The only downside is that if you have a 45ft fifth wheel it gets to be very tight to get in and out, but has great potential to be amazing. I would 100% recommend and definitely would stay again when visiting akeley.

If you like rustic camping this is your place. Nice and quiet with very large lots and plenty of privacy. Beautiful area.

Rustic but beautiful. Spacious drive through camp sites. Our host Allen was very friendly and checked back to see if anything was needed. We took our grandkids and we had A lot of fun. This is a new campground and we can't wait to watch it develop in the future.

Site 104 - RV There Yet Campground
We stayed one night at Allen's "RV There Yet." The sites are huge and have lots of trees all around for really nice privacy and a wide sunny area in the middle...great for our solar panels. When we arrived Allen had left us a nice stack of firewood and also provided us with a large jug of water to put out our fire. He also showed up shortly after we arrived and greeted us personally. The campground is still in the development stage at the time of our visit so only a limited number of completed sites. We walked around the property and, wow, lots of beautiful sites are in the works. We loved it here and so did our cat and our dog!

We enjoyed meeting Allen, and catching his vision for the future of the campground. His hard work and sweat and love for his dream are obvious in what he has accomplished in such a short time. We look forward to seeing the campgrounds progress over the years. Best wishes!
