Campsite is set next to a large pond, deep in the woods on 40 private acres. The pond is accessible for swimming/kayaking/canoeing. Beautiful Itasca State Park is directly across the road from the property with biking, hiking, nature drives, boating, fishing, equipment rentals, dining and more. Within a few miles are several local eateries. The area has many miles of ATV trails and the Heartland Bike Trail.Set up camp in a clearing overlooking a large pond, which is accessible down a slight bank to the water's edge. The site is situated in the middle of 40 very private, heavily wooded acres. Peaceful, with plentiful wildlife. The property has trails for hiking or using an ATV. Picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate on-site. Clean outhouse on the property (about 200 yards from the site). Beautiful Itasca State Park is directly across the road, with the south park entrance 4 miles away.

AMAZING

The campsite was AMAZING. Super private, the fall colored were stunning, and it was magical everything about it! I’d go back and definitely recommend it! My dog and I had a great time. It was better than a 5 star hotel!

Fall Camping

Great spot! Fall colors were popping and got to take the canoe out. Amy and her husband were super responsive and even got my some dry firewood as it had rained a ton the day before.

A true gem!

Amy and her husband are wonderful hosts who are welcoming and easy to communicate with. The property is well laid out with signs to help you locate the parking area, bathroom, and tent site. The trails are well maintained and our dog loved spending time in the pond. The hosts provide firewood and the fire pit has a grate which makes cooking over the fire easy. The stars and different wildlife calls at night were amazing! This site is only 4 miles from the south entrance of Itasca State Park, Minnesota’s first state park. It’s also only a mile from a North Country Trail trailhead, which is a trail system that goes across eight states! I can only imagine how beautiful this site is going to be when the leaves hit peak fall color. We cannot wait to go back!
