Paddle to Waukenabo Lake through the channel. View the eagle's nest. Campfire ring and firewood. Oak is secluded and right on West Lake. Access [5-minute walk] to outhouse "Scheissplatz" known as the cleanest and cutest in Aitkin County. Fresh well water available to all campers.聽 Bring your container to fill up for the freshest Wasser!聽 Wood can be gathered from the forest floor or any dead tree branches. No cutting of live trees. You may bring your own wood as long as you burn it all up. You can walk to the our pole shed, "Steinbeck" and pet the animals.聽 We have a horse "Buddy", donkey "Archer", two goats "Frank & Randy", four sheep "Lorraine, Mabel, April and Lynn. As of April 2023, we have four lambs! Sir William Wallace, Sir Buckley, Sir Locksley and Princess Mary Margaret. We have 3 egg laying hens named "The Ladies", and our Brittany Spaniel dog., "Benji." You can hike through the woods.聽 We are situated in 174 acres and adjacent to state forest land.聽 The loons call in the evening and life is good relaxing at East Lake Ranch.聽 Great first time experience for kids. Into the woods

9 acres on a private lake in Northern MN. ATV trails close. Peace and quiet without the crowds in a campground. We have two dogs, a cat and chickens including a sunrise early crowing rooster who will get you up to start your adventures. Fishing galore on the 1000 lakes in our county. We have an old doc, canoeing and fishing right on our lake. Beautiful sunsets and the joy of being in the deep woods of Northern MN. Lots of fun things to do in Grand Rapids and Hibbing. This site is level on the driveway but not out on the grass. It is close to our house, but we are quiet and not around very much. You pretty much have the place to yourself. 30 amp is close to the house. Toilet, showers and three season porch can be arranged. A Generator will give you closer access to the lake but far from water and septic hook up. Septic is our home septic where you can empty or hook up if you choose to set up close to it.

Our campsites have plenty of space for privacy and all your toys to enjoy your vacation. This is a working farm and we do live here to keep things running. We have livestock and we ask that you treat the land and animals with respect.

Now, being so close to the river is bound to make you impatient to saddle up and enjoy it. Only a short walk from the sites, a bit north of the dam, the boat ramp gives you the perfect place to push off. So pack your tent, load the waterskis, and gas up the boat, because this water is just waiting for your wake.
