Such a great spot! Nice river access my dogs absolutely loved swimming and roaming! While close to road nice and secluded did not see anyone and pretty quiet overall. Firewood offered on site which was lovely. Would definitely recommend for some secluded time!

We had the entire campsite and creek frontage to ourselves, which made it feel peaceful and private. The creek was crystal clear, cold, and full of trout — you could literally see them swimming. We spent hours wading upstream and downstream fishing and exploring.
The property was very clean and well maintained. Trails were nicely mowed, the fire ring and picnic table were great, and there were perfect trees for hanging hammocks. The kids loved the playground, especially the merry-go-round. Very few bugs during our stay and we even had Verizon cell service.
The host was flexible and accommodating with changes to our guest count and vehicles, which we really appreciated. Firewood was available for purchase and cleanup was easy with the dumpster nearby.
Only small thing to note is there was some poison ivy near parts of the tree line and roosters crowing in the morning nearby, but neither really affected our stay.
Overall, beautiful scenery, great trout fishing, relaxing atmosphere, and one of our favorite camping trips. We’d definitely come back again!

Amazing Site, Trout, and Morels

Great stay. Site was as great as we hoped for. Greg met us on Day one and gave us our eggs and answered the few questions we had. After that we had the privacy we were looking for and we're left alone for the weekend. I was able to catch one trout right at the campsite. I also collected some morel mushrooms further down the creek and cooked them up with my steak for diner. Only downside which is debatable was the lack of cell service. I was comfortable with it but the wife was wanting to be able to be reached by our kids if needed. I could get the occasional text to go through but that was it. Overall would recommend staying here.

As stated in every other review, the camping spot is very scenic, nature filled and beautiful.
Gregory is great as a host as he let us have our privacy, but checked in as we were driving or walking by.
Just a note to get to the site: when you pull in the driveway, turn left and drive in front of the house. Then right after the house take a right and that trail leads you back into the woods by the river. I think he has a map that works great.
Lacrosse and Lake Crescent are not far from this site if you wanna make a trip into town.
The site itself is very open no backing up as needed. Just pull in where you wanna be. Big enough for a couple of campers and tents.

A Phenomenally Beautiful Campsite with a lot of Area to Set up your Camp. The Streams were Gorgeous and Had Beautiful Sunsets.
Gregory Drove to our Campsite in the early morning, waking us up, to Advise my Husband and Myself of the Rising Waters and the Next Huge Storm Surge coming our way!
This is Unheard of, That A Man not only Checked out his Land, he Informed us of the Big Storms and Concerning Weather On the Front.
Also, Delivered our Farm Fresh Eggs to our Campsite!

Long story short: great site, great host, 100% recommend.
BIG site. Lots of room for either multiple tents or just choosing a perfect location for a single tent. Very level ground as well.
The trout stream is small, but very fishable. I had a blast fly fishing the water right at the campsite, as well as the mile of public water upstream of the site.
The site is private, but I wouldn’t call it “secluded”. There are a couple other houses and a main road nearby. I would compare the general noise level similar to what you’d find in a suburban neighborhood. In my opinion, this is actually more acceptable than what I’ve found in popular state park campgrounds, which often have “party noise” later into the night, and much closer neighbors making noise. Once the sun goes down, this site is quiet and sleep came easy.
I opted to have an early check in time as well as a dozen fresh eggs from the camp host’s chickens and ducks. I had fresh duck eggs for breakfast for the first time…they were great!
The camp host couldn’t have been better. Just a regular guy that didn’t interfere with my stay at all. Communication through the app was very good and really all that was needed. I did speak with him briefly in person and it was a pleasant conversation.

This was a beautiful spot to spend a fall weekend with friends. The setting is beautiful, with plenty of space to spread out. We loved walking the groomed paths near the creek, hanging by the fire and exploring the area.

Beautiful campsite, easy access, lots of level space for a tent or camper, clean peaceful creek. Didn’t do any fishing myself but I did see them swimming around. Nice firewood at a good price. Dog loved it!

Fantastic place! Very clean, and secluded but town is just a few minutes’ drive if needed. Sleeping next to the stream was amazing and you can see tons of trout swimming in the stream. Gorgeous views as well. Appreciate the firewood, fireplace, water spigot and dumpster. Highly recommend!

What a great camp. It's as good as all the reviews say. Friendly host with great directions and communication. Eggs and firewood adds on well worth the price. Private camp by a stream with trails and wildlife. Perfect. Will definitely be staying again.

Great directions and flat site. Full area to find the perfect spot ! Limited walking trails. The stream was great for the dogs to splash. The road noise and neighbors up the road (read Rooster doing his crowing all day) were tolerable.

Gregory has a wonderful spot here. Easy to find then a nice short path back to the clearing by the stream. Lots of room to find your ideal spot as well as room for activities like Frisbee or fetch. Our dogs had a great time walking through the stream and on the walking trails.
Gregory does have option to purchase firewood bundles right on site.
Look forward to trying this again.

The stream was so inviting that we walked up it and down it. Found a great spot for a chair and sat down. Saw trout swim by. Our dog swam ... her favorite thing. Love it here.

This spot is fantastic!! We all had so much fun and it was very relaxing. Great wildlife, lovely mowed area and paths. The wood was dry, it was nice to have the dumpster and be able to fill water from the house.

My group had a great time on Greg’s land. It was a hot weekend but the stream was nice and cool and a great feature to have camping. Greg said hello on the first day then let us be. We had complete privacy and enjoyed the big open lawn space at the campsite and the walking trails along the stream. He refilled firewood for us which was conveniently located right next to the firepit. I would recommend camping here and would love to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay. Trout in the stream and privacy was great. Don’t go changing on us we can’t wait to book again. Fit our Jayco 13 ft kiwi hybrid camper no problem. Kids and dogs had a great time. Wonderful stay.

Super cute and secluded spot right on a beautiful stream. The property was very well taken care of and maintained without weeds providing us a perfect spot to fish with our kids. Sunrises and sunsets in this spot are perfection!
