If peace and quiet alongside a charming creek is for you, this is the place to be! Was so wonderful to see Jolene again (we worked together years ago). Her family's farm is beautiful and clean...even the outhouse! Firewood is top notch (better than the state parks are offering these days). Can't wait to visit again in the fall. Highly recommend this host and camp. Thanks Jo!!!

We had fun! It was a nice little sight, not as private as I would have thought but the less public area is so rural and in the valley that it didn’t matter. I love being on the creek and the kids loved meeting the cows. The little twinkle lights around the property were so sweet, a couple had fallen off their branch so our kids were walking around with them in the evening. It was so quiet and peaceful I felt like we were transferred into a little fairy land.

Beautiful views and a joyous soundtrack await at this destination. Located in the bluffs with AMA access points just down the road to fish Pickwick Creek. A very quiet destination with clear instructions and all of the amenities listed. Buy firewood in advance and it’ll be ready and waiting for your arrival. Keep in mind this is in a valley alongside a creek, so the low temps at night will feel lower. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway.

We couldn’t have had a more relaxing, peaceful weekend! Jolene and her boys have truly created a “piece of peace” and their generosity in sharing it is exceptional. Directions were clear, extras like adapters for electrical hookups were easy to find, and it was hands-down the best place for me and my dogs to relax and play. Beautiful day and night, it was hard to leave. We’ll definitely be returning, and the bar is set high for future adventures.

Our stay was just what we needed. We started out at Big Trout Creek, but moved to Creekside Sounds because it was even better, we thought, but both were very nice: quiet, beautiful bluff views, and the sound of the Creek. Everything was well maintained and Jolene was "available", but left us to ourselves. We definitely will stay there again.

We had a great family weekend camping at Jolene's. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, played bean bags, threw the football, played board games and hung out around the fire. Our favorite was listening to the sounds of the creek! We decided it was better than a State Park, we would definitely come again!

This is such a wonderful property. The sweet sound of running water just feet away from a large fire pit & our tent. The weather was crisp and the night sky brilliant. We could not asked for more. We highly recommend Jolene's campsites.

Big Trout Creek
We loved our stay at the Big Trout Creek campsite! Nestled into the beautiful hills, we enjoyed our spacious grassy site, the babbling creek, and abundant wildlife. Jolene was a fantastic host and was so generous and accommodating of our needs. The porta potty was one of the cleanest I've ever used and we had convenient access to potable water and dry firewood. I highly recommend Jolene's place for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay in the Winona area.

Jolene's land is so beautiful and scenic, we loved falling asleep to the sounds of the creek and cows mooing. The creek was a little chilly by late September for us, but in the future we'll definitely come back in summer so the babies can splash around!

Stayed a night at Bluffside while heading west. The property is beautiful, and this site sits away from the rest - very private, with the babbling creek running right behind it. The cows came over to the fence to say hello, and they’re adorable. Porta-John is super clean and a quick walk from camp. Jolene messaged clear directions and helpful information before check-in. The town of Winona is about 25 minutes away and is also a super great find! Overall would recommend, and I’d love to come back!

My kids had a great time playing in the creek and visiting the cows. From the pictures we thought there would be much more privacy, which there really was none. I will say the lack of mosquitos made it enjoyable and the porta potty was very clean. Overall good experience just not quite what we expected

It is hard to put into words…..the moment you drive up to the ranch you feel a sense of peace and tranquility. Tucked in a beautiful valley with a creek running through it, this camping spot was truly amazing. Jolene and her family have put so much love and care into their property. You are quickly made to feel right at home. Loved everything about our stay and can’t wait for our next visit.

We needed to stay somehwere for one night and bluffside views did the trick and more! Lovely scenery and a piece of land alingg with the cows nearby really immerse you in the nature. We loved it and hope to be back soon!

Tranquility surrounded this site in evenings with bubbling sounds from a nearby creek and lightening bugs. Loved the small touches of Host Jolene’s Hospitality with lighted canning jars placed around the well-kept property. Easy directions, a straight drive in and I didn’t fine a need for safe-keeping belongings like in a public park. Quiet spot away from polite guests. It pleased my heart to see some farm animals in the daytime, but not milling in the night. Highly recommend!
