Each dog is different. High above the small city of Orr Minnesota, and the main dock for 12,000 acre, 52 island, Pelican lake. Handy location : Within 30 minutes you can adventure to two entrances to the Voyageurs National Park. ( Crane Lake and Ash River) and the west end of the Boundary Water Canoe Area . We offer an old growth forest with miles of trails. . No sewer .. Orr visitors center has a dump station. The big barn has shelter in case of storms emergency first aid etc. . A solar lit path system in camp marks clear path. . When possible( safe) we provide a nights fire wood and plenty of wild life. Resident deer may visit at their pleasure. The train comes by in the middle of the night and announces loudly. Part of our free atmosphere. Two nights are best for your acclimation.. it’s a big woods. Get out there! Hope you visit

Learn more about this land: Next to the Wilbert Cafe & El Toro Lounge, and Speedway gas station in Cotton Minnesota USA. Odessa, is located in the Central far East section of the Sax-Zim Bog.  USA. Near by is a Cafe, Two churches, A Community Center, US Post Office complex.  At the Community Center, Post Office complex and Park with child-playground, In the park is a out-house that can be used 24/7,  it is open to the public. All within the commercial district of Cotton Minnesota.  Also the outhouse has electricity and there is a light .... Sax -Zim Bog Welcome Center is 12 miles west. Bog's :   Winterberry Bog,  Yellow-bellied Bog, and Indian Pipe Bog, are just west on Arkola Road.  Fire wood is free, I have been cutting wood, but is still in short supply and fire banned while dangerous dry conditions persist. We have gotten rain so it is better now. For you light sleepers staying in a tent, just know none stop traffic off the highway and then the birds started chirping up a storm at 4:30 in the morning. Odessa is not a commercial campground.
