Learn more about this land: Start your morning with a perfect view of the sunrise (site 2), or a more shaded, sleep-in a bit (site 1) along with your favorite morning beverage. Site 3 is a large grassy area with tree cover for tents or small vehicles, and a sunrise/sunset view. Feel free to explore the property and you will find a wooded grove and dirt walking path, native plants, wild life--deer, squirrels, pheasants, eagles, hawks, fox, coyote, raccoon, etc. We have 2 fire pits on the property, one at site 1, the other at site 2. You are welcome to bring a portable fire ring or BBQ. We have a vegetable garden you we welcome to admire or get veggies from if they are ripe. We also have a trampoline with surrounding net if there is anyone interested in jumping on that. There is a basketball hoop located by site 1. The outdoor bathroom and guest patio area is also located near site 1. We have a few animals that roam the land, a black lab named Emma, she is 13 years old and friendly as can be but if she is outside she will greet you with barks and running with excitement to see who you are. She does not jump on people. Sometimes she will get territorial with other dogs but is fine after an introduction. So if you are traveling with dogs, a heads up is appreciated! We also have farm cats and egg laying chickens. Take a walk on our country road or into town, approximately a mile and a half to restaurants, visitors center at the Jolly Green Giant Statue, hardware stores, Shell gas station & food mart or access to miles of paved trails around the town. Explore and have fun locating the dozens of "Little Sprouts" (baby Green Giants) around town. There is a very nice City swimming pool with diving board, slide, lap pool, zero depth pool all the water features, lounge chairs, umbrella's, concession stand, showers... located on the South end of Main Street in Blue Earth. Very easy entrance and exit to Blue Earth, site is located at the intersection of Interstate 90 & HWY 169.

2-3 acres of grassy farmland covered by large oak trees to set up camp. This is not a designated area, you are able to set up in a number or areas, you choose which is suitable for you. This site will not have a designated fire pit, but a portable one could be used or one of the 2 fire pits on the property could also be used (if no other campers are at those sites) and you could set up tent near them.

Site 2 is located at the end of the driveway, on the east side. You will find flat gravel parking on a pull around spot, a grassy hill, a fire pit, picnic table, water spigot, camping outlet on the south wall of the shop, a basketball hoop and short walk to the composting toilet and patio area.

Site 1 is halfway down the driveway, into a gravel circle drive. Mostly shaded by large old oak trees. The parking here is mostly flat but you may need to level slightly. You will find a picnic table, large grassy yard, and a short walk to a fire area with benches and logs for sitting.

I loved car camping on Chelsey’s land! She gave us some fire starters cause it was really windy and we did not come prepared enough. My bad. I adored her house and the land was on. We stayed on site #2 and had such a pretty view of the sunrise and crops planted on the farm Nextdoor. No one else was there except one girl one night, so she was super cool about letting us pick any spot that worked for us really. She had a dog that was super friendly and some cats that roam around. One became our friend. It was just outside of town so we ran to get wine one night. She was around here and there so not a good choice for complete solitude, but we loved it!

Camping at Chelsey’s was perfect for our weekend needs. We were in the area for a baseball tournament so the location was perfect and quiet. Chelsey was welcoming and really helpful. The location is easy to find.

We had an amazing time camping here on our trip to the west coast, conveniently located right off of 90. Had a great night hanging around the fire for a while with Chelsey’s dog Emma (Best dog ever) . Waking up to the sunrise over the farm was amazing and I would highly recommend making this stop if you’re on a road trip!

Chelsey has a great set up and is conveniently located right near the highway and local restaurants. She was very helpful upon our arrival and ensured we had what we needed. If ever in the area again, I would definitely stay at Chelsey's farm if available.

Beautiful spot with large shade trees. Amazing sunrise view from property. Whimsical outhouse facility gave it a homey vibe. We were greeted by the owner’s two very friendly and sweet dogs. One sat with us while we had our coffee and just wanted some head scratching. It made us feel good since we were missing our dogs that couldn’t come with us on this trip.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Chelsey was so warm and welcoming (and her pups too!). Yes there’s some road noise but it didn’t bother us a bit. Easy to find and the space was wonderful.

Very private, beautiful property. The host was friendly and very hospitable— offering firewood, providing a citronella candle, and got an extra digger out for the sand box. This is a good beginner campsite — close to help, but enough privacy to enjoy your time. We had a small fire the first night, unfortunately, though we struggled to enjoy it. For some reason, the mosquitos were the worst we have ever experienced. They swarmed us even with the citronella candles and bug spray. A member of the host’s family did say that this was very unusual to have them this bad though. So, hopefully, it won’t be a hindrance to future campers, because it really is a great, convenient site— especially if you are just popping up a tent for the night and heading into town to see the green giant as we were doing. After camping at 8 different sites, this site is the one we felt most safe at too!

First off, the host was wonderful. Her and her family are very friendly and make you feel at home. They have two nice dogs, a few barn kitties (also friendly), a couple chickens, and a rooster. The rooster is actually quieter than most when crowing in the morning. The campsite was clean and close to the outhouse. There was a big fire pit and a nice picnic table. There was enough space for four tents (two big and two small) and an 8x8 canopy. We brought four dogs with us too and didn't have any issues. The farm was very cute and quaint. There were a couple other folks camping on the property too but lots of space between sites. We loved our stay at the farm and would come again. Keep in mind, this is not your typical camp in the woods setup - this is on a farm with more field than tree. It is beautiful in its own right and was a great way to mix up our camping experience.

Picture perfect farm. Wish I could've stayed longer. Property is large, gorgeous and plenty of things for my dog to check out and sniff. The outhouse was amazing and much welcomed after a couple days on the road. If I am anywhere close in the future this will be my must stay.

Beautiful home and yard, tucked just off the highway! It was great for a quick night of sleep while passing through. The price could not be beat. We appreciated the flexibility of our arrival time and having a heavy duty extension cord, water, and trash disposal. It was refreshing to have recycling collection offered since we were hauling ours around waiting to find a place to drop it off. Highly recommended!
