This property encompasses 15 acres featuring a mile of mowed trails that weave through wildflower prairies, along a meandering creek, peaceful woods along the river, and a 501(c)(3) animal rescue providing sanctuary to goats, a llama, a miniature cow, an ostrich and more! The perfect place to unwind, unplug, and connect with nature in a private setting, not on a gravel pad at a treeless, overcrowded campground.

Site is located in the timber along the Boone River You will park at a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue and sanctuary. From there you can "hike" (short route is less than .25 mile) to the Boone River on a wide mowed trail. Easily pull a wagon of supplies if you like. *Site is accessible to wheelchair users, and is frequently accessed by a wheelchair user. However, please reach out to hosts to discuss accessibility prior to booking. 🥾 We have another mile of mowed trails that follow a creek through natural grass and wildflower prairies and woods along the Boone River. 🐐 If you want out of the woods during your stay, feel free to enjoy watching our animals (goats, a llama, a miniature cow, and more!) 🏊 Swim in the river. 🥏 Play disk golf on our 3 hole disk golf course. 🏕 Relax in the timber. 🦌 Watch the wildlife. One of a kind experience staying in an authentic canvas teepee in the woods, with a creek meandering right outside your door! Teepee is complete with a hardwood floor, so you won't be sleeping in the dirt, and even has its own clay chiminea! The teepee is located very close to a large fire pit, porta potty that is professionally cleaned weekly, trailheads, and all the amenities of the rest of the property. *Site is accessible to wheelchair users, and is frequently accessed by a wheelchair user. Hike in riverfront camping

Awesome private campsite, right next to the river! Clear line of communication with Tyler the whole time. Next time I'll bring a wagon to haul my gear out there, but definitely worth it! My dog loved all the space to run and all the swimming he got to do!
