This property has 4 camp spots. Sites 1 and 4 have a boat landing. All sites have shades trees that can hold hammocks. All sites are right next to the lake. Site 3 has a dock that all can use. There is excellent swimming with a sandy bottom at the south end of the lake. The lake is stocked with perch in 2024 but has others as well. It is also close to many lakes that are good for fishing. I have a 14' fishing boat with trolling motor, a paddle boat, 2 kayaks, and canoe for campers to use for free. Firewood is available for $5/day. There is some hiking on the property and much near by. Biking is also good with small lakes nearby to visit. The camping here is very peaceful with wonderful views and the wildlife is awesome! 120 volt power is at all sites and 220 can reach sites 2 and 3. There is warm showers and flushing toilets. Also all sites are drive through on hard ground grass. Grates are provided for cooking over the fire. There is Wi-Fi internet that reaches sites 1-3

Note: Site does not have an assigned address but the driveway is next to our cabin on the North side of the Snake River in Pine City MN, NOT Rock Creek MN. The site is a vacant lot and has the better river view and experience as its a small peninsula that juts out to the river with rapids. There is a swimming area right next to the campsite or feel free to jump into the rapids if you want a rush. There is fishing right there as well, mostly large and small mouth bass. There is parking off the road and a short walk to the campsite, just follow the sounds of the river. Small wagons are provided to help with getting gear down to the river tent site. There is a composting toilet, it uses a "separator" where #1 goes back to the earth (as it is sterile and liquid) and #2 goes into a bucket and is covered with wood chips. There is also a standing urinal for men if desired. If you would prefer to use a pit toilet there is one on the property with directions marked with a sign. It is a farther walk however, about 100 yards from the tent site and on the cabin property near the driveway. If you want something even more convenient, feel free to bring your own. Firewood is available for sale onsite or feel free to clean up dead wood lying along the trail at no cost. The tent site is right next to rapids on the Snake river. If you struggle sleeping to the sound of rushing water, this may not be for you!

She does not jump on people. Sometimes she will get territorial with other dogs but is fine after an introduction. So if you are traveling with dogs, a heads up is appreciated! We also have farm cats and egg laying chickens. Take a walk on our country road or into town, approximately a mile and a half to restaurants, visitors center at the Jolly Green Giant Statue, hardware stores, Shell gas station & food mart or access to miles of paved trails around the town. Explore and have fun locating the dozens of "Little Sprouts" (baby Green Giants) around town. There is a very nice City swimming pool with diving board, slide, lap pool, zero depth pool all the water features, lounge chairs, umbrella's, concession stand, showers... located on the South end of Main Street in Blue Earth. Very easy entrance and exit to Blue Earth, site is located at the intersection of Interstate 90 & HWY 169.

This was a nice secluded spot that was perfect to explore the northern part of the shore. It's close to Grand Marais, which is such a fantastic little shore town. We camped in our 31ft Outdoors RV travel trailer. We were able to find the perfect level spot. We did zero leveling. We kept the main camping area behind us, since does slope a little and we had the exact room we need closer to the road. The road is a well maintained dirt road. We backed in off the road, which wasn't an issue. The road is wide and easy to back in from. There's not much traffic on the road. We also had 200mbs download on verizon. We carry starlink but didn't have to use it. There is some tree cover so you'd probably need to postion starlink more out towards the road.

David's land is beautiful-we used the tent area, but the areas for campers and the already set up "teepee" tent were also super nice. He was also such an amazing host, and very accommodating. We also got to meet Juju, and a couple other people staying there who were also very sweet. We didn't think we would use the barn much, but they did an amazing job restoring it, and it was so comfy. We played a lot of table tennis 😂 I give it a 10/10 and we would love to come back some time. Thank you David!!!

Weekend Trip to Ranch Retreat Camping

We loved this site! It was private from the other two sites, the sounds of the creek were magical! A big tree provides some shade. The cows were fun for the kids to interact with and driving into Winona was and easy 20 minutes. We’d definitely come back!

Weekend Trip to O'Dalaigh Hideaway
