Gorgeous property with plenty of space so if other campers are there you still have your privacy. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They even helped ground guide me into the space going between some trees.

A beautiful spot to camp near Mankato. There are a choice of spots to park and since we needed electric we used the concrete pad near the barn. Owners are super friendly and they have a super cute cow! One thing to take note of is if you need to park on the pad, the black flies are pretty annoying during the day. However, they do not bite and we put out fly strips and some spray and it helped immensely. But we were gone most of the time during the day and they died down in the early evening like someone turned off the switch. Perfect campfire location next to the lake too! A really solid spot for a base camp to explore the area - we shopped at cute stores in ‘Kato and hiked around Minneopa as well as attending the Cake concert at the amphitheatre in town. A great weekend - thanks so much!

It was a beautiful site. The lake was gorgeous, but the flies were outrageous. We couldn’t get rid of them. I had to call to find out where to go on the land.

Easy to find, peaceful and relaxing! Host wasn't home so we did not meet personally, but he was quick to respond to our questions. We enjoyed having room to set up our bathroom tent and badminton while still have plenty of space. The dock/canoe werent available, but we enjoyed floating on our tubes, and caught fish off shore. Loved being able to walk up and interact with the cow! Town was a short drive to get what we needed. We didn't walk the trails, so no comment on them. It felt like our own little escape even though there were others there( they seemed to stay in their units, hopefully not because we were out and about) only downside was only having one fire pit/swing on the lakeside where two of us were set up, we didn't want to be distracting to others, yet wanted to utilize them, so when noone else was using it we did and just closed down early in case they wanted to after.

We had a wonderful time! We had a great view of the lake and beautiful trees. The host was friendly! There’s a concrete pad I could pull through with my 17 ft camper and had access to electricity and water (didn’t use the water). I hope to be back.

We loved our stay at Bryan’s farm. Bryan and Natalie are the best. They have, and hopefully I don’t get this wrong: 3 cows, 3 sheep, 1 goat, 3 pigs, dogs and 2 kitty’s, and the orange kitty is adorable . They said its name was Kitty., we changed it to Cheetos because of her color. She is the sweetest. Bryan said they couldn’t touch her because she would bite and scratch. She slept with me in the camper both nights. The view of the lake is beautiful. We love to bird watch and they get a fairly good number of birds. We use the Merlin bird app and heard many different birds, some we don’t get where we live.
The lake is not for swimming unless you like lily pads and other weeds, but if you choose to canoe or paddle boat, which they have both, it will be perfect.
Natalie is working on creating hiking trails and doing an amazing job. She has planted flowers and other plants along the trails. New Ulm is fairly close and they have the Schell’s brewery which you can tour. We forgot to get eggs for breakfast and ended up in the town of Hanska. Nice little town. They have a convenience store . They also have the “Last Chance Saloon”. They have good food and entertainment. Bryan and Natalie were the best. Instructions for set up were spot on. They always asked if we needed anything, to just ask. The only downside is if you stay on the slab there are a ton of flys since close to the cows.
Just remember, you are staying at a farm.. The rest are fine!

Bryan & Natalie are awesome hosts and quick to respond when we had questions. Our spot was picture perfect, and we felt like family. We arrived with a 24’ travel trailer, grandkids and the dog, and we were able to park on a nice level spot with plenty of shade and space to set up. We camped for 2 nights/3 days to make some memories with our grandkids which we definitely got to do, they had a great time. They helped Natalie with goats, visited with 3 steer and so much more. There is a garden to pick from as well as apple trees, with quiet gravel roads to ride bikes. New Ulm and Mankato are a short drive if you want to explore as well as the town of Lake Crystal. We love the Minnesota State Park system, but I think we loved the uniqueness of a farm stay more - less people and more laid back meant more relaxing for us. We recommend the peaceful location, thank you Bryan & Natalie for your hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay at Brian’s. Brian and Natalie were great hosts. We hung out one evening as we all tried to figure out of to trick our generator with rewiring an outlet to it. We stayed on a weekend when we were the only guests. Brian and Natalie let us enjoy the property and we felt very private at the lake. We were unsure how it would feel being close to the out buildings they had on the property, but we came to not even notice it and it became a part of our stay. The lake views and evening sunsets were beautiful. Highly recommend staying here. They are absolutely welcoming.

Very peaceful location, but close to plenty of restaurants and attractions. We spent part of the day in New Ulm and had some great pizza and wine at Morgan Creek Winery. Natalie and Bryan were super nice and Bryan responded quickly to all of my questions.

Beautiful property by the lake. It was a bit more of a “farm stay” style than we were expecting, but our children really enjoyed the cows, sheep, and cat. :)
The hosts were very accommodating and hospitable. We appreciated having electric and water handy. Canoeing on the lake was definitely a highlight.

Are you looking for a peaceful campsite next to a quiet lake? We found it at Bryan's farm. The lush grass was freshly mowed making for a comfy spot for a picnic. Big oak trees provided ample shade.

A beautiful lake with a dock. A grassy green with amazing oak trees. This is where your tent or trailer is. Just behind you can hear and go to see the sheep and cattle. A couple barn cats might come for a visit also :) Bryan is super chill and accommodating. It was a fabulous trip! I wish it could have been longer!

Loved the location. We had a great view of the lake and the cows. Bryan greeted us and we enjoyed chatting. We stayed one night traveling on to my parents’ home in Illinois. It was great having electricity and concrete to park on.

This was a great spot to stay. We stayed for 2 nights right next to the lake. It was everything we expected and more. Bryan and his wife were super friendly and accommodating. The lake was beautiful, it was nice and shady, easy to get it and out, and very well kept. We even took some time to water color the lake scene. They got us a large fan the first night for outside since the breeze had died down. Bryan even set me up with a mechanic in town when my check engine light came on. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, and look forward to returning.
